FYI - I get updates regularly on this case. I'm not moving it to Located yet until police confirm. Too many unanswered questions to know she's "safe".

Crenshaw County Sheriff Mickey Powell says his agency is aware of the “rumor” that Alissia had been located but that law enforcement has not seen or talked to her in person to confirm it.

Family members were reunited today with missing Crenshaw County teenager Alissia Freeman in El Paso, Texas, law enforcement officials confirmed.

"We have gotten word from the mother (Vickie Metcalf) that it is her," said Crenshaw County Sheriff Mickey Powell.

While I'm certainly glad she's alive and appears to be well, I cannot be only parent reading this and feeling so angry that this girl would do this, and leave her entire family heartsick, worried and searching for so long. Right? :thinking:
