Well if they are trying to win people over, I can say for sure they are doing it the wrong way. More then ever people are going to hate them, all the lies! If I were Casey I would tell them to shut up and go home she has a better chance without them!

I totally agree with this. They're doing more harm than good.

The garbage they spewed forth tonight was as believable as the rotting pizza in the trunk. The only thing I will say is that GA looks to be in terrible, terrible pain. CA is on another planet, totally. I just wish she would stay there and leave the rest of us on Earth the f%$^& alone! :furious:

The only thing I took aways from the Anthonys on Larry King tonight was more high blood pressure! (lol) I almost threw something at the tv. I knew I shouldnt have watched. More lies and denial.

Just when you think George and Cindy can't get any worse..........they do. They out and out lied on Larry King, refuting the statements they made to LE!!! George now says that the odor in the car smelled like what garbage smells like after being in a car for a month..........YET he told LE that he was very bothered by the smell in that car, that it smelled like a dead body, and he left the interview room and vomited.

What bothered me the most though was their blaming LE, saying that LE had made up their minds within two hours and it was a matter of case closed at that point, that LE hasn't ever searched for Caylee alive, or put out an amber alert because their minds were made up.

Larry King is not informed, and was not in any position to interview the Anthonys. This interview was the worst!

He told Orlando LE that he knew that smell from his own work in LE and he knew what it was - human decomp. Yet on LK he diminishes his role in LE (oh that was 20 years ago) and says it was just pizza! I can't believe how easily he can just flat out lie!!!

Actually, it was a great interview in that it showed a perfectly accurate snapshot of the real As. They have been duped by their own desires. I just hate that they try to tear down so many other people for their selfish purpose. They looked like two dupes.

George looked like he was physically ill. Even though their non-stop spinning does NOT surprise me, I was shocked he blatantly contradicted his testimony to the FBI. Well, I guess lyin' to the public ain't a crime...

Just when I think my disgust for this family could get no stronger...

In some respects I find GA's comments tonight, in light of his past statements to LE, and taking into consideration his behavior up until now, to be more disappointing than what we have seen from Cindy. One could say that Cindy (after her initial flub up of identifying the smell of a decaying body) has maintained an unwavering position.

Ultimately this family is culpable for their actions and what they chose to say. I feel for them, I pity them, and of course I wish that none of this had ever happened, but what they are conciously doing now serves no one, save Casey. I am appalled.

Most shows are scripted, and you're right, that's why they agreed because they already knew in advance nothing 'tough' would be asked.

They've already been with Greta early on when they did the house tour with her. It would be interesting though if she'd be a little tougher now, months later. MOO

Interesting that GA spun tonight about the decomposition smell when he was so 110% to LE and FBI. He swore an oath on his testimony so if called at trial what is he going to do?

Although they are trying to seed propaganda to the future Jury, the future Jury will hear his original sworn testimony at trial and may think Hmmmm, so GA lied on LKL? -- unless he perjures himself.

They are digging a hole that is severely damaging any little credibility in public opinion. More harm than good. No wonder MN skipped out of dodge quick.

I swear, I would love it if we could take over NG or LKL for just one week and go over all the evidence we now have, dispute what the A's are saying, ask the real questions of the guests (no azz kissing questions and no taking callers questions about who the father is, etc) the Anthony's delusions might begin to fade...

Oh wait- the Anthony's wouldnt get it if all the evidence and reasons behind why most Americans think they are crazy were plastered onto a cast iron skillet and they were beat upside the head with it!

They should have listened to Nejame when they had him, before they drove him away. They had a good thing in him. He wanted them out of the spotlight and really, though it was on behalf of G & C, it would have worked to Casey's advantage.

They might be deluded into thinking they are spinning and weaving reasonable doubt.
The reality is, as infuriating and frustrating as it is to us to watch this bs, (and I am going by what I have read as my cable won't give me LKing)
it is truly a GIFT to the prosecution.
They are so open to being sliced diced chopped and shredded during their testimony, at this point, that they cannot assist in the defense of their daughter.
Every interview creates more ammunition for the weapon called cross examination, which at this point , is nuclear...thanks in part to these ridiculous appearances.
Baez cannot have things thrown out because they are damaging. He is stuck with all of this and it is going to get worse with each network appearance by the defendant's family. Good.

IMO, This media blitz is nothing more than an orchestrated attempt to taint whatever jury pool might remain. It amateur and immature. I can only hope all of Orange County PD/SA is sitting back giggling. This is last ditch. We will see an continuance undoubtedly. And I suspect there is a plea in the works (whether KC knows it or not) but golly, this is worse than the idiociy that's gone done in my in my fair state (ahem) since our governor was arrested.

The only thing I took away from this interview was how smooth CA is at lieing and how baaaaaddd GA is at it. His whole garbage answer was incredible.

A while back I started a thread entitled "George's lies/Cindy's lies" and it was promptly removed.

I wonder if it would be removed after tonight's performance?

By the way, does ANYONE still believe that George saw Casey and Caylee leaving the house with Casey wearing her charcoal-grey-pants-with-a-small-stripe on June 16th?

No. In the beginning, I thought George's comments about seeing Casey and Caylee leaving at 12:50pm on July 16th were not credible. Then, when I heard George's interview with LE when he talks about the smell in the car and he got sick, I started doubting my original belief. But, in recent weeks, I now firmly believe that George is lying about the events of June 16th, and I think he's lied about June 24th too.

It's just not possible for someone to remember the details, such as what someone was wearing, more than a month after the fact, especially when there was (at that moment) nothing different about that day than any other.

We posted about MN at the same time.

Even if George does not commit perjury, he has made enough self-contradictory statements about material facts so that the jury will not only think he lied on LKing, but they will see him as untrustworthy period. Same with Cindy. They have sunk their own boat.

He did the same thing when he was asked who the father was. I guess the As don't feel it necessary to let the father's family know that they had a granddaughter.

I'm pretty sure they know.
