Doesn't fall in line with my theory either . Hope there's more to come on that .

I'm not saying someone did see her at the roundabout. I'm also not saying someone didn't though. I just posted that old link because I have recently heard third hand that someone had seen her at the roundabout that night and has told such to QPS. I don't personally know the person that supposedly saw her there - I only know a person, who knows a person, that knows that person.
I don't post stuff that I've 'heard' unless I know it is reliable information. In my opinion, third hand information is not reliable, hence I posted an old link so I could mention that it may have happened. Because it may have. It also may not have. :pullhair:
I am very curious as to why QPS took such an interest in the roundabout is all.

Just wondering if perhaps someone woke on Friday morning with a missed call from Allison ? It's hard to drive through a roundabout when you are extremely upset after argument and trying to use your phone . Erratic . We don't have her phone but there may be evidence to come of recipients . Hope so .

I have an iPhone 4S and you can disable the "tracking" feature. To my knowledge, it does not save past days, but only shows you the current location. I have my "Find My Friend" app disabled on purpose. IF Allison's phone had the app turned off, then it cannot be tracked just like that. But it appears that now GBC was also lying about that, because his phone did not have the app installed, therefore he could not have used the app to try and track her down.

Hi CC :) He did have the app on his phone - but it hadn't been used when he said it had. That is stored in the logs under MRU (Most Recently Used). I think Judge Applegarth was reading the tech report on the analysis of GBC's phone. So when GBC texted Allison's phone implying that he had been trying to find her using "the App", the logs actually showed that he hadn't actually used the App. That's why Judge Applegarth comment that he must be stupid to say what he did....

An enterprising constable used the app on GBC's phone - ran it - to locate Allison's phone, and that was what came up with that 150m radius thing. It showed the blue dot for Allison's phone in or near the back garden of a VERY close neighbour. But all attempts to actually find the phone failed. They never found it. But it was that App that gave us that sudden change from a radius of several kilometres you may recall, suddenly reduced to a radius of about 150m.

Thanks CC. Do you happen to know what time ABC was seen at the roundabout at all? and whether she was seen in a car or not?

Ah the roundabout...... So many theories.

If we think back to the QPS facebook page there was a lady who made a comment that she "saw something odd" it was something small but ODD???

I believe that if they are looking at the roundabout at the times mentioned, Allison would not have been alive at this time.

On old upset man sitting at a bus stop late at night, would seem small but odd to me. Just sayin, my opinion only.

Hi all- reply to a post in the last thread from yesterday's hearing. Trooper you were referring to me regarding the prayer requests to the members of the Townsville church?

I hope you dont miss this post, C and P.. I want to thankyou for your response, and to convey my deep appreciation of your take on this....

I have been very curious about a remark, made very very early in the first stages of this utter horror.. It was the pastor being very firm about the deviousness of the press. Dont read the newspapers was his directive..

and then on his facebook account? on his newsletter?? this was just before we ( the general public ) were subjected to the Toni stuff, the pastor wrote, there was worse to come, much much worse... a fair call, as it happened.

Which struck me then, as it does today, that Olivia, and Mr Olivia knew all about the affair very early in the proceedings.. I cant say they knew before Allison was murdered, but they certainly spoke of it shortly after. .

I certainly do recall the chorus from Olivia re Allisons 'depression'... she got in very early with that. Both written and spoken.

I cant imagine how long that wait for Allisons body to be found was for Gerard.. a Million dollars in insurance payout , battalions of Search and Rescue blokes out there, 11 whole days, and he knows where it is, it must have driven him nuts

Unlike your average killer, who doesnt want the body found, Gerard needed it to be found. At least , by June 30th. It was the whole point of it all. Collect the death certificate. Ring the insurers. Make the claim. Deposit the cheque. Payout everyone who was rude enough to expect their money back, and carry on. New office. New staff. Simple.

WS ABC followers. The only people who can't wait for the weekend to be over : )

I'm too old to be wishing my life away. :rocker:

C'mon wheres next week? I woke up Saturday morning at 4.30 and was straight to WS ahhhh going mental

Too right The Troopster, he must have been paniking during the rains that Allison would never been found. Were those canooists connected to the scouts?

All just minor interuptions to 'business as usual'.

Re the alleged reports of the bus stop sighting, or rather inference there was...if I had seen an old man at a bus stop late at night (presumably when busses have stopped running) I would be concerned they were a vulnerable person and perhaps were lost or had wandered away from their house. I would remember that. I don't think I would stop though, but it would be on my mind...was there anything confirmed on this? I recall in previous threads someone said two women in one car pulled over and saw the person they knew and he appeared strange and that was that.

It would have been very interesting to see his expression when the police turned up at his office to let him know a body had been found. I wonder how he reacted when they told him. Rushed them out the door so he could make an urgent phone call?

I had never read that before Doc. Thanks for that information.

I just cant see anyone, private or public, or any organisation, lending Gerard a million dollars plus, on the strength of the reason that , yes, Allison is missing, she'll never be found, but she will be declared dead in seven years. For a million, they would want to know how he knows that for a certainty. And the interest rate on that would be rather hefty over seven years.. for a secret loan, the repayment would have been under extraordinary terms. No.. that death certificate that insurance companies so nagglingly require, that he had to have, well before Toni's deadline. The rain , the endless rain over those days must have been a real worry.

All insurance firms in AU, I imagine, would be , over those 11 days, trawling thru their policies, and marking BADEN CLAY with a red flag by midday on the Friday Allison went missing. They'd be waiting for his call!.. recorder ON, under instructions from the constabulary.

<modsnip>

Does anyone know which Gym Allison went to??

For someone who didn't like excercise ( I heard someone said this ) early in the peace....seems odd she would go to a Gym.

My thoughts only.

Having read the excellent CourierMail summary article, it is now clear to me that the two screams were some time apart.
http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/queensland/the-baden-clay-hearing-love-and-death-laid-out-in-court/story-e6freoof-1226598536905

Bruce Flegg heard the first scream while on the phone, Got up. Tried to wake a house guest in another bedroom. Failed. Went outside to look around. Went back inside, then heard a second scream.

Susan Braun who lived nearby to the BC residence heard an unpleasant human noise that woke her up. She went back to sleep and was woken a second time by a similar noise.

One can only imagine what the poor children heard that night :(

Anne Rhodes also heard an argument, scream, thud and screech of tyres.

This is puzzling, but the theory of Breno84 below plus erratic driving at the roundabout plus a possible sighting of Allison makes things a *little* clearer.
This actually makes a lot of sense. It's certainly not beyond reasonable that a fight did occur earlier, (which explains 10pm-ish screams) and he has chased her. Things cool off, or, he manages to talk her into coming home again. But he angry and irrational now, Doesn't like having to chase his wife around and all.
And thats when the real fireworks start. Stacks up reasonably well with some of the witness statements I've heard firsthand in court and would explain the QPS timeframe 11:30-4:00am
food for thought.

Hey Breno84, how is your venn diagram and timeline going?

Hey Breno84, how is your venn diagram and timeline going?
... and lets not for Will Truter who reportedly heard screams pierce the night.

Next week we will also hear the outcome of the decision regarding the Relationships Australia Counsellor evidence. IMO professional 'privilege' should be overridden in the case of murder. Its purpose is usually to deter live couples from using the sessions as evidence, or the Counsellor as a witness, against each other in a Court of Law.

SSergeant Narelle Curtis made a call to Allisons phone, while at the home from her mobile. At a rough guess, since these 2 sergeants arrived at 8.45am and had to try and pin Gerard down to some kind of sense,
it could have been around 9.15, 9.20am .

She gets Gerard to ring again from HIS mobile to Allisons, also. Olivia says she rang Allisons mobile twice from the landline.. ( Olivia is back at Gerards having come back from driving the girls to school, Nige is sayin nothin about no phone ) and left a message at the station as well. Gerards landline or Nigels landline ( if she did ring before she left Nigels place ) I dont know. Gerard says he rang twice and txted.

Sergeant Jackson says, 'its coming up as out of range'...
