I wonder about the "whoever did this". Is it possible that GBC was on the receiving end of a bit of a touch up ie in a headlock and another person is about to lay into him, Allison sees it and screams and suddenly it all goes wrong.

In that situation GBC isn't going to say anything of course at least not for a while and is actually out of harms way for a while...................

But Gerard got the fingernails in more than one place!

Ive just been re-reading Hawkins' posts. Damn they were spot on. I wish he would come back! He seemed to have a lot of criminal lawyer friends (not to mention his own great theories) that would really shed light on this mess. Sigh. Wish he would come back!

I think a lot of us feel that way. Very wise and knowledgeable. Think I might go back and read them myself.

2 things:

1. I know a salon I will never bother attending!

2. As someone who is coming back for repeated "fix ups" I too may come across as irritated also, especially after being stuck in traffic. I thought early on the hairdresser was quote as saying A was in a good mood and looking forward to the conference the next day?

I go to this salon and have also been for fix ups. My mood wasn't great for the first few visits back but they were and still are very accommodating and do a great job. They have a lot of really chatty clients and also some like me that prefer to read, do emails etc.i don't think there is much to read into Allisons mood there that day.

I do think there are other statements from the hairdressing salon but I don't have them.

Yes, Alioop agreed as there was talk of the conference also the next day as well as likely other topics. Will be somehere within the other 350+ statements.

I know myself and other female friends do sometimes keep track of those things, I guess she might not from a potential pregnancy point of view (!!) but even without a big red love heart in her diary, there are so many other ways to determine dates. Something as simple as 'oh I had my car in for a service the day after' or 'the boys were picked up by their dad earlier that day' or 'I attended the salon ' anyway, it is not hard to work out a general idea of dates, even if you are not someone who records everything.

I find it strange that she doesn't have these things in her calendar on her phone.

It would be interesting to know what gbc was wearing that night as there must have been significant stretching pulling buttons off clothes he had on judging by his injuries, the mark under his right armpit looks as if something has pulled really hard on his clothes and dug into skin, could it have been someone from behind ????

As I was saying - I believe that GBC would pass the blame to anyone he could if he had the opportunity. I don't think anyone would be off-limits to him!

which makes me wonder if gbc could be covering for a family member? i doubt it but its still a niggling thought and maybe a possibility?

Who would have a motive, other than GBC?

There would be plenty of cctv I reckon that would had captured him such as at his premises, Coles etc. But they were likely work clothes and he may have changed them when he got home into comfortable lounging around the house clothes. So unless he was seen after he got home then no one knows what he was wearing, except the people in the house.

Forgive me if this question has been asked and answered or it is just plain stupid.

Alioop do the Defence just choose the obvious and standout key points when choosing who to cross examine for the commital e.g. Scratches, finances, mistress, plant residue from home. When you first hear about those one would say "definitely guilty". Are they trying to discredit those results so that the public and judge will hopefully have a rethink. Unfortunately when it goes to trial then all the nitty gritty stuff will come out?

At the trial, the defence will most certainly be bringing in their own witnesses on all sorts of issues including specialists for everything. Anything to contradict the prosecutions evidence in any way.

Hmmmmmm ok. Well maybe that's what she is getting at then. God I hope the crown is all over alternate theories and probabilities!

Don't know if anyone has asked you this, but what's your opinion of the case so far? From a legal perspective I mean. I realise there's a lot we don't know yet but if you had to give an opinion, what would it be?

Yes you are right , am feeling disturbed about the comment mentioned previously about their daughter apologizing about not being able to talk until "the debrief"

I think we have to revert back to the most simplest scenario, so my summary is: The husband is on trial for her murder, had the opportunity and the motive to kill her. The evidence points to him. The mistress is not on trial nor has she been charged with anything. The husband has destroyed many lives. At this stage there is no evidence of an accomplice. His family seems to be staying clear of this whole mess.

My thoughts too. I also think if TM has any guilt it is because if she had 'loaned' him the money Al could perhaps still be alive.

I wonder why she did not offer the money ?
Perhaps she knew more than she has admitted (re his debts) and knew she would not get it back.

Another thing, I think she pursued him after the break up.....the money she had could have been her 'hook' for him. I do not think he loves/loved her. He was too interested in self preservation. He was using her.....and she did have money....

Does anyone know how is TM is wealthy. She was living in a rented flat.
