She did include them ("we") in her interview later with Channel 9 in front of the parents home.
Saying 'We' is usually considered distancing oneself from the statement following it.

For those who may not have seen them.. Pics of the BC backyard and carport can be found here. These pics were taken June 2012. http://multimedia.aapnewswire.com.au/search.aspx?search=baden+clay+arrest+brisbane%26(importdate%3E20120613)&gallery=BADEN+CLAY+ARREST+BRISBANE
I recall very early on NBC when they shoved a mic in front of him he said the same as OW that the truth will come out ... But back then I thought he might have been suggesting a suicide - do we assume there was someone else there not a family member after the fateful act?
But why the cover up?
I am puzzled by NBC and OW saying GBC is innocent ! Look at those scratches on him for a start!

She may very well still be involved in Allison's murder. We don't know this as yet. As I said last night...time will tell.
I've been thinking about why those questions were asked (great thought-provoking post, Trooper) by Davis and I wonder if it's just me who sees a pattern with those couple of questions that seemed so important. Did QPS tell Toni about the other women and did they tell Gerard not to appear at the command post?
From Toni's cross-examination I could assume here is someone with motive, emotional instability (demonstrated by questioning) and possibly opportunity (no security cameras at her apartment complex = no alibi) to murder Allison who not only was clearly not "ever" treated as a suspect but was apparently "pushed" to rat on her lover by the less than scrupulous QPS. But here is the problem with that theory, there doesn't seem to be any evidence that GBC was asked by the theoretically less than scrupulous QPS to stay away from the Command Post. Or is there? I'm hoping it's just my imagination. It certainly is MOO
Still, I just can't picture Toni being a perp. I can only imagine a crime of passion if she were the perp and those crimes are generally messy and not so carefully cleaned up. At least, they are on TV
We don't know if she was ever considered a "suspect". Her mobile phones and computers were also confiscated and analysed. She has been interviewed at least 5 times formally, but QPS have not arrested her nor have they included her as an accomplice. I don't think she is involved in this at all. She is only one more person that was manipulated and used by GBC. IMO.

Another half thought. He helped Toni sell her house. He would know she had that money. I think he told Toni hinting at T spotting him a few dollars. He lead her into that convo about money. The whole thing about not being able to afford to divorce Allison, he was manipulating Toni into giving him what she had which would keep him afloat temporarily. There was something in it for her if she coughed up cash, he'd be a step closer to being afford divorce . He didn't outright ask because that is how cons work, they talk all around it and expect you to get the hint and offer, then "You offered, I didn't ask" (therefore I don't owe you).
There were two things , at the committal hearing, that fascinated me.
I was always going to be more interested in the questions Davis asked, than the answers given... the statements of the witnesses called were already laid down, and there was no reason to believe they would deviate from them, .. which they didnt,...
But Davis surprised me in the angle of his questions on two matters, and he spent a lot of time, considering time wasnt exactly infinite.. not only a lot of time, but 4 witnesses, wait, I think it was 5.......
He wanted to know who had told Toni of the other women in Gerards life.. 2 witnesses, and I think about 50 mins on that..
And... Who told Gerard not to join in the search.. 3 witnesses on that and a fair bit of time..
Davis is instructed by Gerard.. this is how it works. Davis isnt running this thing, Gerard is, Gerard is paying Davis to be his advocate, and thats what Davis does.. he isnt a free agent...
So why were these two matters, seemingly utterly irrelevant on the face of things , important to Gerard?
