I'm sure this has been posted, given that the article was from yesterday, but I wanted to post it since I just saw it - and maybe someone else hasn't seen it either. This support is what I wish for all of these victims, including Michelle. I hope she gets it somehow. What a wonderful family...

Kidnap Victim Asks Not to Be Left Alone on 1st Night Home with Family

On her first night at home in a decade, relatives of freed kidnapping victim Gina DeJesus huddled around her, sleeping on inflatable mattresses in their living room so the young woman would not have to sleep in an upstairs bedroom similar to the one where she spent much of her captivity, her mother told ABC News in an exclusive interview with David Muir.

I'm hoping the FBI is monitoring who gets close to them. But by now it is likely each girl has been contacted by, and contracted with, an agent. For now, they have to be holed up. That is how things work with a 24-hour news cycle. There is already tremendous interest, so you feed it for a while with NOTHING. NO contact with press. Every word and every photo is worth a great deal of $$$. That money will ensure the girls a safe future. I can almost guarantee they are inside those homes, negotiating deals with the Today Show and People Magazine.

I am a publicist in L.A. I don't represent these girls, but if I did, I'd be working on a deal with People -- $1 million for the first photos of and interview with Joceyln and Amanda. Then I'd be booking their first broadcast interview -- with another big pricetag for video footage inside their new home. It's going to take a few weeks, but this process will set them up financially for life.

They are going to need to be VERY careful about who they let get close to them.

I for one believe that neighbors called in to the Cleveleand cops about the incidents of a naked girl against a window and the other about a naked girl or woman on all fours outside the house.

CPD deny these now--I don't believe them. Another reason people should always jot down names, badge #s etc of cops they talk too--and save them indefinitely. If they find who on the CPD took those calls, like the Dahmer case, they'll probably get a public reprimand. Then maybe in 10-15 years the next chief of detectives, or chief of police maybe.

It sounds like Michelle is in hiding from her family and hoping they will go away. Wasn't it the family that said that Michelle had been raped at school when in reality it may have been the moms boyfriend and they are trying to cover-up or hide this. Maybe LE is keeping her in hiding for her safety and we will see more charges come. They will have the records on her past.

I just get this feeling they want to take Michelle home to keep her mouth shut and it would be more abuse and they would claim she is mentally incompetent. I think everyone has the number on this family.

He shouldn't be seeing the 10 year old anyway. He should have been in jail for raping her older sister. What mother would want someone she knows as a rapist hear her child????

Thinking of this some more - she (BK) didn't have to hide from him at all at that time. He went to prison for 8 years, and then was under post release control for three years. In fact that just ended about two months ago. He was safely locked up - why run?

I've been wondering if it's the "girlfriend" in the picture by the locked door. Does anyone know if she has been identified? I don't care if we or the press know who she is, but I hope that LE does.

I was wondering the same thing. She appears to be quite young.

It was repeated tonight on HLN that Castro was assaulting his wife at the same time Michelle would have been there.... Maybe his x wife was there and she never told out of fear for her life. She died last year.

There was a post on Castro's sons facebook that led me to believe that was the case.

Since the 3 victims said they had only been outside twice and then in full disguise I don't believe those calls ever happened.

That simply isn't something they could hide- not with 3 witness to say otherwise.

I wasn't aware the doors to the outside world were unlocked either. Part of me thinks that when he was testing them, the outside doors were still locked. I think , Ill say it again he subconciously left them unlocked. How in the world could he forget??? Really?

There is no way. Hed been playing this game for 10 years maybe more. He couldn't keep it up any longer. Especially if he sang like a canary. It wasn't in him to be honest. A manipulator would have turned the story somehow for at least a while. Even though it was obviously him. He got away with it f or so many years.

I'm a little creeped out by the information that Gina has stated she and AC's daughter were with him, then he returned for her, while not once, ever did the daughter mention that? But she did mention going to the stepfathers work? WTH

One report said that this was literally the first chance that Amanda Berry had to escape in ten years. It sounds to me like he just screwed up and left something unlocked, or he was just so confidence that he had enough control over her, that she would not try to escape.

Part of me also thinks he did it on purpose. Either way I was so elated to hear Amanda knew it was Mother's Day coming up and wanted to try n get everyone home for it!! Yay!!

Well, those are all things they need. But above all, they need FREEDOM. The media are literally camped outside the Berry and DeJesus homes. Yesterday Gima just wanted some sun, but had to go inside because a news helicopter was hovering over her backyard. If the girls don't want to be prisoners in their own homes, they are going to have to know how to navigate the media waters. I think the FBI will help them.

I'm not saying they want money and/or are hungry for it. I'm just saying that the media won't go away anytime soon, so I hope they are smart about dealing with the press, and that they use the opportunity to get money. It's not like they can just go get jobs at Walmart now, ya know!?

Also, not sure if this has been posted, but I read this a day or two ago:

Berry realized she had the opportunity to escape when her 6-year-old daughter, who was born in captivity, said Ariel Castro had left. "Daddy's gone to go see grandma," the girl said, according to reporter Scott Taylor.

She left in the 90's. He continue to threaten her and abduct the girls. She lived on Liberty Ave when she filed.
