My opinion below:

Defense is arguing that Amanda's rights were violated when she accused Lumumba. Her defense has to defend not only the murder trial, but also the request from Lumumba about increasing her sentence because of deliberately attempting to mislead the investigation.

It's the Lone Wolf Story all over again.
 
If I had to guess, I would say that the verdict is overturned.

It's interesting that he includes the scream in his scenario. The scream was reported by Guede, Knox, two neighbors (or was it one neighbor and someone else?). Either way, Knox's defense seems to be running with the fact that there was a "scream", which we know is in her story given to police about Lumumba. It's also in Guede's story. He was on the toilet when Meredith screamed as she was murdered by the black man in her bedroom. Knox was in the kitchen when Meredith screamed as she was murdered by the black man in her bedroom.
 
It seems like there is quite a difference between the defense of Knox and Sollecito. All he had to do was distance himself from Knox's proclamations, and refute the knife/clasp evidence. The knife evidence is refuted as it's a small speck in an irregular place that could be doubted.. without confirmatory evidence, it is weak. The clasp evidence is easy to question because it was not collected for 46 days, but that doesn't mean it isn't valid (that question of whether overturning the verdict will result in the perception of innocence).

Knox has to argue that the knife with her DNA embedded in the handle is irrelevant, the absence of prints throughout the cottage is normal, her strange behaviour and activities is meaningless, her irregular remarks (Meredith routinely locked her bedroom) were a translation error, that she was coerced after 1.5 hours to sign a statement confirming verbal testimony that was a result of torture, and that she has every intention of making amends for her false accusation conviction ... when she gets around to it ... compensating her victim is apparently problematic for Knox.
 
Sollecito is tied to the murder through Knox, who is tied to the murder in several ways.

Knox got $3.2 million in her book deal, and she claims that she is broke from paying her parent's mortgages and lawyers. Her debt to Patrick was €22.000. With $3.2 million, why didn't she look after that debt first? Did she not feel bad for what she had caused for Patrick's family?

That's about $30,000 that she owes Patrick. Of the three million dollars that she has. why has none been put towards compensation for her criminal activities?
 
Verdict will be announced at 5 PM Perugia time at the earliest, with lots of advance notice ... in about 6-7 hours Knox's life will change, it will never be fixed.
 
Another photo with no evidence of 500 reporters, but the jury is still wearing the "costumes". Remember when that was such an issue ... the fact that penguin coats are worn by prosecutors and the judge wore a gown. After that was the complaint that the jury was not sequestered even though that is rare in the US.

The judgment not before 20, just like the last time.
