A couple things--
1) I got jury summons today. I know I'm not the only nerd around here who actually hopes to get picked or at least see some of the process from that perspective. I agree there needs to be some serious overhaul of the current jury system. This case proved that, IMO.

2) I was teaching a class today about behavior, and discussed how the defense team made sure to have Casey set her chair in the lowest position, outfitted her in ill-fitting clothing and such to make her look more diminutive. It was a very small class with only five participants. Three were younger, like rather early 20s, while the other two were older women. Only the two older women knew who Casey is. On the one hand, I was disappointed because I want people to know about the injustice for Caylee. On the other hand, I'm glad she's not well-known (according to my super scientific study), because she's horrid. But Caylee wasn't horrid. She was sweet and loving and playful and darling.

Sigh. I can't believe it's been so long since it all went down. That's what brought me to websleuths. I kept seeing the news about her and thought, "I know there's places online that study this stuff... " and here y'all were and here I still am. The amount of reading and research I did rivals only with my year of graduate school. I read an autopsy report for a snake, for Pete's sake. As did many of you... For those who didn't... Spoiler alert it was blunt force trauma - vehicular. Poor snake got ran over by a car.

I couldn't help but notice a tabloid newspaper while waiting in checkout line in the grocery store showing Casey's smiling face saying something about her possible wedding and a baby. I yhought I would throw up. I'm sure we will soon see that some idiot has married this murderer and she will be having his baby. Yes, there are idiots out there who would have no problem marrying this vile woman.

I might have turned one of the checkout magazines around facing the other direction last Saturday. *whistles innocently*

So I wonder about a couple things? Who was Caylee's dad? Anyone on here ever discuss possibilities? I haven't been a member here that long.

Another thing..as I am currently watching epi #2 before epi #3...the chloroform? I suspected it was used to knock Caylee out so she would be out of the way for a bit. And maybe put in trunk or closet or something. I live near a big casino and the LE are finding babies left in cars all the time. Some strapped in carseats, some with sheets up on the windows in effort to block folks from seeing in the car. Though listening to the show now, maybe the chloroform use for was more premeditated sinister reasons??? Awful.

I watched the first two episodes and will watch the 3rd one tonight. I felt so much rage, especially when they showed clips of the felon sitting in the courtroom. I have no sympathy at all for Cindy. She chose the felon over justice for Caylee and that's unforgivable from where I stand.

The good point of this show, so far, is that it does not make the felon look good at all. Im hoping that people that aren't as familiar with the details as we are will now understand what a rotten evil person the felon is and there will be more backlash if she tries to promote herself.

Agreed. My biggest fear was that this would be another opportunity for fca and ca (or anyone team fca) to revise history, weaving more lies to fit their current agenda, etc. The reason I had to take a long break this past year was because I was soooo sick and frustrated of seeing them (anyone team fca) interviewed where they spread their lies, or latest version, WITHOUT ANYONE holding their feet to the fire and forcing them to back it up with facts. It was so easy to destroy what they were saying with a little fact checking, but time and time again they were allowed to run wild and get whatever they wanted out there... It drove me a little crazy and The ONLY reason I was able to get through both of these episodes so far is because fca and ca aren't up there spinning and weaving stories, unchecked...

All jmo.

Cindy STILL insists the odor in the car was garbage. Oy vey

I thought I had experienced every bit of bitterness and disappointment that was possible as we all followed this case into trial and beyond on this website. But I've discovered a fresh, new insult as I watch this program tonight. It has only now, occurred to me how many, many people have been complicit in this corruption of justice. Almost everyone who participated in this case, from the murderer all the way up the ladder to the judge, added a wrongdoing that resulted in this monumental miscarriage of justice for Caylee. The numbers are mind-blowing!

Hi Expecting!

They got to quit their jobs. They took hundreds of thousands of dollars for a fund that they cashed out. They lied under oath at her trial. .... Remember....They tore down Caylee's memorial. Cindy said that it was ok that caylee was left in the woods because she was just a shell then. I wish them a life Time of misery. Who makes money on their dead grandchild..... The Anthony family

Yep, Dr. Spitz is the very one for defense who battled the forensics about the duct tape. He is also the defense witness in the OJ Simpson trial, need I say more?

Cindy is sticking to the chlorophyll/bamboo toxicity lies....

All jmo.

Right before the Baez praise came very high praise for the way the pros presented their case.

Very strange to watch this series. I have, like many of you, avoided thinking of FICA or reading/watching coverage of this case or the players. I just "shunned" her and all of it after the verdict. Like you guys, it's a tough watch - not sure why now I am drawn to watch when I haven't been in past.
