Had Zach and the girls on my mind today. In the worst turmoils of their lives I hope they are able to enjoy some summer time, and make some special memories. Haven't been watching SM of anyone lately, and see no updates from media, so I guess we wait until trial for the other charges, figuring there will be delays, and it will be rescheduled for later this year, and pray that AJ's remains have been able to tell her story since her voice was taken. Sure would love to see a charge for her murder, as well as some obstruction charges. Until then we wait. and the family and loved ones mourn.

From your keyboard to God's ears. EVERYONE responsible for AJ's death needs to be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. The one who did it, and the one(s) who helped cover it up.

I stopped following the SM accounts as well. I can only handle so much idiocy.

It is taking ALL the self control I have not to post on the Bring AJ Home page.....My mother passed away March 21th and I am still in the grieving stage. What kind of mother is worried about raising money when her child had been murdered. I can't even think what would I do if one of my children was murdered. It sure wouldn't be arranging a golf outing. Notice she says....if you wish to register in person, "please see me." My father worked at a golf course it doesn't work like this. All money is paid up front at the course and then paid out. She is taking advice from the crooks she is around. This make me sick She knows what happened to AJ.

• 2015-2016 Norview High School senior athlete with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
If you have a 3.0 GPA you can get finical aid. My nieces just did this at the University Of Georgia from a middle class family. All though they had 3.5 GPA. For a lower class family they get a lot more

• Participated in at least two (2) sports for at least (2) years each
Coaches don't want you in two sports look how that worked out for Bo Jackson and Deon Sanders, they had to chose One sport

• Have earned at least one (1) varsity letter in each of the two sports
Impossible I come from a sports family. Coaches want you to be in one sport and train for that one only.

• Exhibit good sportsmanship and moral character
• Show consistent involvement in community

• Demonstrate financial need
Financial need is all over the place. The government takes care of that and you only have to have a 2.0 GPA.

• Will attend a four-year college/university in the fall of 2016

One person on her site said she only has 470.00 for the golf outing.

This is a scam and she knows more then she is telling.

Very sorry for your loss, grammy. I have 7 kids myself and cannot even imagine being functional (for God knows how long, weeks? months?) if one of my daughters went missing and then were found dead. I'm very familiar with grief and how personal and different it looks for each person, however. For some (for a variety of usually NOT good reasons) they will dive right back into their normal life/routine in an effort to make life feel as normal as possible. Generally what they're doing is avoiding the grieving process and this is very bad because it's coming whether you put it off, or not. Unless of course you're a sociopath or psychopath (or whichever "path" it is that doesn't connect with basic human empathy and such).

As for me? I know I sure wouldn't be all over social media (during the time she was missing, YES, but after, NO), jumping on fundraising ideas & planning events and having 800 people coming and going at my home. I'd need space and time to wrap my head and heart around the new reality and it wouldn't come quickly or easily. But, that's just me & moo.

As for JH's son? I wasn't aware she had one. WH does, but he's off limits for discussion anyway since he's a minor.

"Band-aids don't fix bullet holes" is a line from the Taylor Swift song Bad Blood, which is a hit on pop radio & youtube right now. It's actually a metaphorical reference in the song, which is about personal disputes getting out of control between people formerly close (it's supposedly about Katy Perry stealing backup dancers from Swift or something stupid). I don't have a twitter account so I don't know who you are referring to, but I'd say if this is a reference to this case at all, it's a reference to the rift that the case has caused in the (extended) family, not literally to any "bullet holes". More likely, it's just a quote of a favorite song on the radio.

So... I made the stupid mistake of looking for updates on AJ's case. Nothing in msm so I checked SM. Ugh. The vicious and ugly continues... and WTH? The BAJH FB page [I edited out the rest that I have to say but y'all know what's going on].

Anyway, I'll be back when more news is released. AJ's still very much on my mind but I can't take what her family and friends are doing.

In the meantime here's an interesting article about the Federal Trade Commission cracking down on online fundrasing. Right now it's focused on people looking for startup money for projects (you know, like SMMPAS) but you can bet it will soon expand to all online funding.

Agreed. I personally feel a little guilty because I have maybe been unnecessarily hard on some people connected to this case and taken a side when there wasn't one to be taken. Lesson learnt on my part. I still feel Wes is involved I just can't change that feeling but in future I won't let my imagination run wild on others.

Same here - have always thought WH and I guess we'll see, but some people have really shown their true colors at this stage of events. It should bring this family closer but it hasn't, lots of past resentments. Sad really. I would hate to be in JH's shoes and my heart goes out to her.

The biggest problem in following this case is the overwhelmingly LACK of facts/statements from LE. It's left everyone to wildly speculate, and to make that even worse, so many connected to this case are making utter fools of themselves on social media, further feeding the speculation. It reminds me a lot of the Bella Grogan-Canella case.

It's like a Malthusian theory of lies, OM, gone wild, how would it help LE to say anything, while AJ's murder has yet to come close to justice? It would only help the liars who try to impede investigations, it seems to me. BTW, is there an SM guide for dummies, as I still don't get it.
