These payday loan people run tv ads here in central FL all the time.
You need a check stub from your current job. I don't think Casey would have the smarts to forge a paycheck in its entirety. I can see her altering a date on an old stub though. I kind of think we'd know about it by now, if she had done it.
I also believe if she did not do it, she later wished she had.....

I'll bet she put the car there purposely in a spot where down-and-out people
(drug addicts etc. who are desperate) would perhaps steal it. It's close enough not to "put TonE out" when he came to get her. She ran most of the gas out of the car, which wasn't hard to do, because she was always on empty anyway... broke as a joke with no job -- stealing gas! She then left the ignition running until it stopped, took the keys, put the purse in plain sight, made the phone call and stood outside waiting for TonE to rescue her. Had to "get rid of it" what with all that stank.

If the car had been stolen then that would be a great defense - she could blame the decomp odor on the car thieves.

A few years back in college I took out loans at two different places very similiar to this one. Along with my ID I had to have my two last paystubs, a checking account in good standing and a recent bank statement, phone bill in my name to verify I had a working phone and they called my employer to verify that my paystubs were real. This is standard at these places. I don't think Casey took out a loan, but possibly cashed some stolen checks there. I'm sure the cops know if this is the case. I think one of you may possibly be right in thinking that she left the car with her purse at this location because it attracts people in need of fast $$$. These places usually have a few sketchy characters hanging around outside because they know people are coming out with money. I'm not calling all people that go to these places sketchy, just some, wanted to make that clear. Plus, I don't consider myself sketchy.

Here's what I don't get:
Casey's car was seen at Amscot at 7:00AM, yet Tony didn't pick her up until 11:00 AM where she was waiting with groceries, that did not come from a store.
So what did she do for 4 hrs!!!?

Truth Seeker, that's what I'm wondering too. It just doesn't make sense. This would mean that Casey drove to her parents house before 7 AM to steal the groceries (where were GA and CA?), then she ran out of gas at Amscot prior to 7 AM (as the car was seen there at 7 AM). So where was she for the 4 hours, and did the chicken defrost??

i doubt she went in the business too... IMO that vehicle was left there during the wee, dark hours.... & just not noticed til' 7am when mgr or whoever came to work...

I haven't seen anywhere that TL felt there was a descerepency with the story of her 'dad coming to get the car', or saw it, noticed it, wondered why it was still there.... nuttin

Tony said she spent the night before at his house and left early in the morning and was coming back. But I don't recall if he said a specific time she left.

If the car was near a dumpster, it was probably not in plain view. It may have even been blocked from view of the street.

Good question.
Didn't she have frozen Tyson chicken and Ice pops from her home freezer?

Yes, according to TonE's interview she had frozen food. So, she had to have been home immediately prior to calling TonE to pick her up. Here's my question: after dumping the car (I believe that's what she did), how did she get back home and then back to the AmScot parking lot? I think there is someone else involved here (possibly innocently) who picked up up at AmScot and then brought her back. If she's stealing food from her mom's frig, I doubt she had money for a cab. After dumping the car, I imagine she had to go home to shower and change clothes....she probably reeked! JMHO

Yep.........I think so too. As much as KC loves money, there wouldn't be any other reason for her to leave her purse. She knew there was no money in it. She just wanted to tempt someone to take the car with the purse and the keys in it.

I agree except how could someone steal the car if there was no gas in it? Could she possibly be that dumb? I'm thinking maybe...

IMO, someone picked her up, took her to her parents so she could get some clothes (Tony said she had clothes with her) and take some food, then dropped her back off at Amscot.

How far away from Amscot was her parent's home?

Or she could've walked...I think it was only a few miles from her parents house. Just an idea!

If someone did help her push the car into Amscot, they might've then given her a ride to her parents. I don't know if I believe that story though.

What day did the neighbor see the "truck"...does that fit with who ever could have picked her up before tl did?

She drove to the parents' house before the car was dumped. Perhaps with a phone call?? to either ensure that the parents were gone or to *lure* CA out to steal stuff (per Brittany?). She got the food and the clothes and then dumped the car. The car was on E, she left it running until it sputtered, took the key (maybe even put the key under the seat, closed the door and called TonE to come get her. She popped up to his car as he was pulling into the lot. Easy peasy. The bad stench and the "it" that caused it was officially good riddance.

OT I'm sorry, One Hooah Wife, I have to say, your signature makes me howl! rof (over and over)lmao!

Still, purse on seat, baby seat still there...I'm thinking premeditation!

According to this new document dump, the car was locked. I don't think that she intended on leaving it there. She was probably coming back from having stolen food at her parents' place and it ran out of gas. I think her intention could have been to come back and get it herself...She talks to Amy about needing gas cans around this time period...

I don't think that she expected it to get towed so soon and she seems to have gotten a bit distracted about "other things".

Tony possibly lying about picking her up at Amscott? Maybe picked her up somewhere else?

We don't know that the chicken came from the Anthony home, that was just Tony's guess.

The car was left at Amscot before 7am. Tony didn't pick her until 4 hours later. What did she do with frozen food for four hours?
