Absolutely.
Cindy started lying at the onset (June 9th). Since then, the truth from this family has been sparse to nonexistent, imo. Instead of covering for Casey perhaps their involvement is far more than what people imagine it to be. I don't think anyone would consider asking for immunity unless their involvement is directly involved with the crime and punishable with more than a fine or a slap on the wrist. This is a capital murder case and they are sitting squarely in the middle of the crime scene. They have plenty to fear from the prosecution, imo.HUH? If the A's admit that Casey is guilty they will be throwing her under the bus? And if they don't, they are covering for her. No matter what they do, they can't be right in some people's eyes.
Who first Mentioned the Zanny?? In that phone Converstation KC or CA??
Hold on. You read that wrong.
I was simply wondering what their intentions were for asking for immunity: ie)ready to tell LE what they know, if anything, regarding their granddaughters disappearance.
That is what I meant.
Smart move. I wonder why MN never thought to do that. This new attorney really seems to be on the ball.
All LE needs is a judge to give them the ok to bug the house. I'm sure OCSO have done so, and will not make the same mistakes that the cops made in the Aisenberg case. And I'm absolutely positive the recordings will be totally intelligible this time around!Originally Posted by Janis396

A federal judge ordered the government to pay the Aisenbergs $2.87-million in legal fees. At the time, Peluso was a federal prosecutor who argued that Cohens firm should get only $250,000."

As I have been posting in another thread, to a point where I may be babbling
I believe the A's have left the territory of Obstruction (misdemeanor) and have strolled into the valley of Criminal Accessory after the fact. (felony).
jmho
From your link: Attorney Brad Conway also said he is representing the Anthonys for free.
What is it about this family that inspires people to work for free???? I don't get it. There are so many people who truly need help in this world.
Yeah, I know... publicity. GMAB.
I will be very interested in all that was removed from the home. It has been speculated that JB was taking letters back and forth...I wonder if there were any in that house that were taken into evidence. This is all just speculation but it would be interesting to know.
At least he is being honest about it whereas the "others" aren't so forthcoming about it.
I guess negative publicity is better than no publicity ...... sad.

I hope it's bugged too...it's probably the only way to find out what really happened to little Caylee. The A's are helping KC cover up what she did. It's so sad!
The game changed when a body was found. There was no need for MN to make any kind of overture like this, because there was no body. Considering the body was found so close to the house and potentially there is evidence in the house George and Cindy own linking to the body, I can see why now is the appropriate time to look for such an "immunity."
While I think I like this new attorney, he's jumping the ball a bit, IMO. Lots of focus here on obstruction of justice, and the whole argument for charging someone with it from a legal perspective is pretty grey. Look at how much Casey lied to investigators, pointed them on the ZG path and then promptly shut up -- you'd think she would have been charged with such a thing before anyone else is.
