Hmm, the idea of t shirts being sold is odd, but then I think someone wanting to purchase one is even odder.
The fund was suppose to go to help other missing childrens families after Caylee was found so if thats happening I am all for selling the tshirts. Money for searching is hard enough to come by so every donation whether for a tshirt or not is a blessing.

I would agree with you, but the only missing children group they have ever connected with is Kid Finders, we all know about the founders and their felony backgrounds.
Besides, who will ever know for sure where the money goes?

I checked out the jfc website and they had a page that said t-Shirts and Braclets will be here soon. I wonder if they are going to sell them.
I know very little about that website, but if it concerns you be sure to let them know how you feel.

PS- wonder if Casey is on the shirts?

Ya know, it might be a good idea for the A's to STOP the sale of these items and concentrate more on, oh, I don't know, CAYLEE'S FUNERAL!!!!

I don't even get this. Why would anyone buy a shirt now knowing the remains have been found. I quess there's a sucker born every minute. If this is true, then shame on anyone and everyone involved. Money is the root of all evil, God said so.

I was sitting next to a young man on a ferry in Sydney last weekend who was wearing the T-shirt. Asked him where he got it. Relatives holidaying in Florida brought them back.
Did he know the story? He sure did. Thought it was "cool" :bang:

Oh, and it's the "love of money" ... big difference :)

The myspace site states:
Checks payable to: Help Find Caylee Marie Anthony
The shirts I have seen not only have Caylee on them they also
list a bunch of other missing chidrens names on them.
I don't see what the problem is with them selling them as long
as they do what they say they are going to do with the money!

I did not realize the shirts had other missing children on it. I concede that does put a bit of a different spin on it. it's hard to find fault with Caylee's high profile sweet little face helping to bring recognition to other lost angels.

:(

I don't know what to think about the whole issue now.

Meh.

I think it is all in the title..."help find Caylee" ....... all the spin invovled...

Checks are not madeout to the A's

Checks payable to: Help Find Caylee Marie Anthony

Something has changed then, because the last time I viewed the page it stated to make the check's out to the Anthony family??? Or have I finally lost my mind???

it DOES say this now:
Checks payable to: Help Find Caylee Marie Anthony
The Anthony Family

Harleysnana said she "had seen" shirts with other missing children on them.
That does not necessarily mean those are the shirts being sold. The Anthony's had several different shirt styles made up and the majority of them just had the large picture of Caylee on the front.
Just knowing the words "Help Find Caylee" are on the shirts is enough to make it revolting (to me) to be selling them.

Respectfully, at this point I need more definitive proof about the entire situation than a blog posted on MySpace by a VERY questionable "PR Rep".

At this point I don't think anyone in the Anthony Family could illegally remove a mattress tag from their own bed without everyone and their dog knowing about it by noon the next day. So I don't see them getting away with anything illegal with the funds from the trust, too many pairs of eyes are watching them all constantly.

My last 3.4 cents on the issue ;)

I could be wrong, but the t-shirts with OTHER missing children on them likely would have been the DONATED shirts...

Not to be picky but, the MySpace is owned by the Anthony family. It is the same site they have had all along.
Michelle B has her own blog, but that is not where the t-shirts are being sold, They are being sold on the A's site.
At this point, I think more people are upset about the moral idea of selling the shirts rather than a financial reason.

I am. I also find it abundantly clear that their actions, while repugnant, prove contradictory to the statements they have made. They are claiming Casey did not do this to Caylee, yet, instead of trying to launch an investigation, or even ask that the killer come forward, they seek immunity and hawk T-shirts.

Help Find Caylee Marie Anthony. Odd...and this is not aimed at you, just wondering

Do they need money for a map to take them to the funeral home?

If shirts and bracelets are still being sold, all the money should go to TES. TES spent countless amounts of money in their search for Caylee, to the extent of using up all their funds for other missing people searches.
JMOO

I would think that with all of the media attention, that they would be so ashamed they would stop selling them.

It appears the only connection between the Anthonys and the word "ashamed" is that they both begin with the letter "a".

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but aren't checks supposed to be made out to "Help Find Caylee Marie Anthony" because that was the name of the trust when it was created, and as such any donations to the Caylee Marie trust must be made payable in this manner?

I was under the impression that she authored the blog? Am I incorrect? I've looked at it once, but I try not to linger anywhere they gather because I get too irritated at the whole situation. But I thought Michelle B. has been making all the strange remarks since Caylee's remains were found, on that particular profile/blog?

So much info in this case it's hard for a sane person to keep it straight, and my basket is quite often a few burgers short.

Yes, they are. But the instructions are deceptive, in my mind. There should be no reference to George at all. It makes it appear that one could make the check out to "Help Find Caylee Marie Anthony George Anthony" which means that George could sign the check and deposit it into his own account, as co-payee.

Isn't this the foundation that is run by Ms. Parker, Mallory's mother?
