Awwwwww!! LittleBitty, what a kind and loving person you are. Thank You so much for being such a sweet person. I wished I could be your kind of person----I really do.

I see the A's different than you do. The way I see this is that the A's don't want this autopsy released for selfishness---they don't want to have it in the public's hands yet. They know they can't keep it under wraps forever---but are hoping they can hid it long enuff to get this foundation on it's feet.

Yes, a murderer is somebody's kid but the way these peeps have acted---I hope the ground opens up and the A's are sucked into a deep hole. See? I'm not sweet. When I think of them---I get this evil feeling within me.

I get that "evil feeling within me" too. I just know that they loved Caylee...and for whatever else their flaws are...they gave her love. They made her happy. They gave her a home. They gave her toys. They cared for her. And that constant in their life, is gone. So for that they have my absolute sympathy. And empathy. In that one aspect.

I do believe wholeheartedly that the results will be released. There is one reason why they may not be. Only one that I can think of...and that is something cecy and I discussed earlier today. But I can't think of a single reason logically why LE would overlook it for fear that it might jeopardize KC's impending trial. And I have wracked my brains. I can't post nor will I what I am thinking because it is too inflammatory.

IMO it would take the spotlight off of their own pursuits...KWIM?

I realize that I come across as being cynical but what I wrote was coming from a legal pov. My mother worked in the courthouse for a judge for years. And in the DA's office also. I met defense attorneys and district attorneys. And I watched a lot of trials. I watched a DA cry during his closing at a Murder trial, after the trial I heard him joke about how good he was at the crying...he was successful the defendant was found guilty by the jury. This is a high stakes, for lack of a better word "game" right now. A Death Penalty Murder Case. As far as cases go, it doesn't get more serious that this. CA and GA and KC's Attorneys are all working toward a collective goal, to get the DP dropped and KC to be found innocent...2nd agenda is no DP and lwop.

Damage control - GMA appearance and the softening of CA
Motions - file 'em, one will stick and good to postpone damaging info and really good if you can get someone outside of Defense Team to file - smart move and I truly believe that JB AL and BC decided on this being filed by the Anthony's.

Our legal system isn't perfect but it is all we have. Perry Mason was not a real person. There are innocent people in prison and guilty people not in prison. Some of what we all have read from the released evidence due to Florida's Sunshine Law will never be known to jurors. So if the worst of the worst evidence is not released to the public before trial and the trial be put off for another year or so, the lack of new "bombshells" and the Anthony's fade out of sight...would be very very good for KC's Defense.
I'm the one trying not to be so cynical (it's hard, but I too see the game at play)...and I totally agree with you.

Any fair judge would not seal this AR based on BC's motion. If he does, every single family member of an accused murderer in FL will try to be getting this done and it will be a slap in the face to the Sunshine Laws. The only reason I see JS sealing this is if he believes it would interfere with KC's right to a fair trial and want to avoiding tainting a possible jury pool. However, IMO the only way this could taint a jury pool is if there is something in it that points directly to KC. If he does seal it, I believe he would have read it and that will be the reason why. IMO an autopsy report (w/ no direct cause of death) is very different than a zoomed-in video of the defendant's strong reaction that would be played over and over on every news station.

I agree with the majority here, that JS will be releasing the report. It is my understanding that an autopsy report is a detailed report of medical findings and conclusions as to the "cause" of death and any prior medical related findings. Not "who" did it, as that is LE's and the SA's job to investigate and prove without a reasonable doubt. There may be clues in this report that point to KC somehow, but I wouldn't see that it would interfere with her rights to a fair trial. I just don't see any further information it would reveal that hasn't already been released in other discovery documents. MOO!

It's interesting that on the CBS show CA and GA did not state that Casey was innocent, like they've done in the past. There has to be something in that report that is very damaging to Casey. But, like you said, I wouldn't understand half the jargon either. It would be helpful to hear what sleuthers have to say. But, I'm willing to wait.

There must be something that points directly to Casey like a fingerprint on the duct tape or something. If there were broken bones from abuse it wouldn't point directly to Casey. Something on the plastic bags or the laundry bag. Something that had to get there when Caylee died or afterward.
Something that would point directly to Casey and then Caylee's murder. If her hair showed something that pointed directly to Casey and no one else that would do it like whatever it was Casey was looking up on the internet and that was found in the car...can't think of the name of it!

Casey Anthony case: Will judge seal Caylee's autopsy report?
George and Cindy Anthony will ask a judge today to seal Caylee Marie's autopsy report.

A hearing is scheduled this morning in the case against Casey Anthony, the 23-year-old mother accused of killing her daughter, Caylee Marie.

Anthony's parents, George and Cindy Anthony, want Orange Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland to stop the release of their granddaughter's autopsy report, which is public record.

The hearing starts at 11 a.m.

An Orange County meter reader found Caylee's remains on Dec. 11 in woods less than a mile from her family home.

Authorities say the 2-year-old was murdered but the cause of death could not be determined.

In a request to the judge, the couple's attorney, Brad Conway, wrote that the release of the autopsy would "cause great anguish to the Anthony family" as they continue to struggle with the loss of their only granddaughter.

This is my first post, so I hope I am doing it correctly. So, the Anthony's want the autopsy of Little Caylee sealed because it would cause "endless comment and speculation in the media and public forums" about how Caylee died.
The way I am interpreting this is they finally know that yes, KC murdered little Caylee and discarded her little body like it was nothing more than garbage and that the autopsy will reveal just that. They know the public will scrutinize them for "supporting KC" even though the truth is she murdered her.

Keeping my fingers crossed that BC doesn't dome down with another backache....

The louder the family protests, the more I think they are trying to hide and cover up more evidence.........the guiltier they look!

Welcome, Stephr!!!! Jump on in here, cause we are going to be "commenting and speculating" all over the place whether they release this report or not.

I simply can't see the A's mental anguish being compelling enough to quash the release of the autopsy report. If that were sufficient grounds do you think JonBenet Ramsey's autopsy would have ever been made public?

May I suggest to the As that they simply don't read it?

From where I'm sittin' this is grandstanding and misdirection. Either AL orchestrated this (too sophisticated for JB) or the As came up with it on their own to try to help KC. (Again, perhaps to sophisticated a move for the As...)

This is really here nor there but I just found it interesting.

Last night Mike Brooks was filling in for NG. In discussing the A's wish that the autopsy report remain sealed he, and several of the other THs repeatedly said "if the A's don't want any more anguish then they should stay home and stop going on tv to talk about the case."

No big bombshell there but I just found it interesting. And I love Mike Brooks.

Casey Anthony: Is there a smoking gun in the autopsy report?

WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said the grandparents had no legal standing in the case and predicted the judge will release the autopsy, a public document. Belich said the hearing might last just 15 minutes.

WESH-Channel 2 reported that Casey Anthony won't attend the hearing. "Those who've seen the autopsy report tell me that there's nothing in it that really resembles a smoking gun of any sort in the overall case against Casey," WESH's Bob Kealing said.

George or Cindy Anthony might take the stand in the hearing, their attorney, Brad Conway, told Kealing.

Kealing also talked to a journalism expert who said the Anthony coverage has been overblown but who also predicted that the judge would release the autopsy.

"We have a very open system in Florida, and we work really hard to keep it that way," said Al Tompkins of the Poynter Institute. He said the Anthonys' argument of suffering anguish isn't enough to block the autopsy's release.

I love him, too. I wish he had his own show.
