Perhaps if your ex-spouse & your child were living with a psycho (IMO) like AL, you might be more likely to boast about guns and your ability to use them? (To be clear, not talking about you personally.) I haven't looked at his Facebook so I can't say that has anything to do with it but I can imagine acting that way.

From his page it looks like he has always done this. Rather than boasting about guns, I would have gotten my child out of that situation.

The last I've heard the granddaughter is still with her grandfather. CL's ex filed that ppwk on 10/15 for emergency custody order but I haven't seen anything showing where anything was changed.

Jstanokiegal...I did find his bloody pic on FH by going to the pictures on that page. It wasn't the one where all of the comments were. I also did find the screen shot where he said "hi sexy" on POF on the 27th, 2 days after Beverly went missing.

It looks like HL is living with her dad. CL had made the comment earlier in the week that she was going to get to see her this weekend. Her ex has to be livid. He got HL after all this happened last month and CL came and got her on Oct 3rd I believe the report said, without his concent. Then he filed for custody.

Thanks I didn't know what the chain of events were in that custody case. It's pretty far - Kansas / Arkansas and now to be New Jersey/ Arkansas. The poor kids. What a fright for them to be in the middle of all this... You're right about TKL too. Seems his gun thing has pretty much been a deep identification issue for some time, nothing new related to these events.

Totally agree, jstanokiegal. I went their earlier to try to find that original POF (hey sexy) post that AL posted and that has been removed (it was in the comments) as well. Maybe you'll hear back as to why they removed it. There is still info about the morning of AL's arrest but nothing more.

That was the piece of the puzzle that my gut told me was the reason LE was not talking. I figured it was her or really was the Travis he mentioned but Le needed more evidence. I'm so proud of the investigators in this case right now.

I guess CL was the real 'co-defendant' to which AL referred. He wasn't lying when he said that. He just didn't give her name. Wow.

Now that we know for sure CL was just as involved as AL, anyone want to take a guess as to motive? I dont think this had anything to do with money although Id bet CL took her jewelry.

A lot of people have said that they thought AL knew Beverly from the gym meets. Now that CL has been arrested, I wonder if it could have been her that had a problem with Beverly. Kind of like those cheer moms in the 80’s.

Aha! Shiny, successful Beverly may have hit a nerve with CL. Motive could have been pure jealousy and hate.

I find it interesting that both parties (BC & CL) -the victim and the accused- were involved in child custody issues at about the same time-- a notoriously trying and emotional thing to go through for anyone, but especially for the mothers at risk of losing care of their child. Then add in the fact that both children in question - in various stages of their custody battle- were at the same cheering club at the same time. Researching that angle has been a source of good information that might factor in to the bigger question. I'm not yet convinced there weren't still other(s) involved beyond CL & AL. She said cryptically!

I found her posts on face book equally disturbing, she was bringing God into it, calling out the "snakes" in her life, photo's with disturbing costumes, etc...how could she even pose in those photos, knowing what happened to Beverly? Evilness.

In my mind,before I saw the halloween posts, I suspected she was a victim of AL herself. Those pictures did not sit right with me though. Now, they seem sinister.

No doubt in my mind that SHE called & made the appointment with the Realtor. She was gainfully employed or about to graduate from nursing school, IIRC.

I need to catch up on this thread. Stayed away because there was so little we could discuss for a while.

She was in her first year or nursing school. She never returned to class after the kidnapping.

I wonder who the truck belonged too? The silver car was AL and it looked like CL had a black Honda SUV.

Both cars (silver car and gray truck) are owned by AL.
