JMO but I think it's very possible CL was not at her ex-boyfriend's house over the weekend - she used that as an alibi to make it appear as if she was not around her house the entire weekend of when all this went down; and that's why the ex-boyfriend was upset for getting dragged into it because his name was put out there by CL when it shouldn't have been. Because IMO if he cared enough to allow her to stay and if he drove her around and provided her transportation, then why be so mad and upset when she tells LE (and whoever else) that that's where she was for the weekend? He shouldn't get mad if he truly cared, would he? Thoughts?

I said the same thing!!!! Anyone who was an actual alibi for an innocent person would be glad they were able to keep them from being thought of as guilty! Here's a good test for anyone who knows the players--- is ex-boyfriend posting anywhere about CLs innocence?If he was seriously with her and knows there was no way she could have done this, he would be quite upset that she is in jail for capital murder right now. If he isn't really upset about his innocent ex being so horribly accused, then he isn't claiming to be an airtight alibi. Go to his Facebook (for people know him) and see what his take is. Or ask him, if you know him well. I just think we would be hearing more from ex-boyfriend who knows where she was and there is no way she could be involved. In my opinion, he is going ot be a huge part of this case. And not in a way that helps CL. He is probably exactly who pokes cannon ball holes in her story. I feel sorry for his involvement, for sure. My guess is she thought he would keep her safe and he doesn't feel like he can lie about something so big in order to keep her safe. Probably why he was so mad he was involved. My opinion.

Let's see here, in this case we have all of the following involved (to some degree, at least): ex-boyfriend providing a safe haven and providing you with transportation; ex-husbands; custody issues - kids by this one and kids by that one; 7-time felon that wife didn't know about when she married him but yet it was plastered all over his social media; drug testing, divorce filed; nursing student with no job, no income (except possibly student loans); other spouse not working either; one minute they both live in same residence - the next minute or day or week, they don't; pit bull that eats your panties so you have to keep them on dresser but don't notice a phone laying on them that doesn't belong to anyone in the household...What else have I missed and who knows what all else that we aren't even aware of??!!

And a partridge in a pear tree.

Does anyone even know who he is? Even if all is true that he is an alibi for CL. He has probably been advised not to discuss it. Also, even in this socially savvy world not everyone is online. My husband thinks FB is silly. It would have to be an emergency to get him to text and he would never be on a forum. Pretty much the opposite of me. Ha.

What is funny is that it is my mother in laws maiden name too. Of course, it is a common but I sure didn't want to marry my cousin. Ha. But we checked and we are not related. lol

Except wouldn't the attorney at least need to know what the evidence is against her? Does the defense attorney have that information at this point or is he waiting like everyone else?

Normally the attny files a discovery motion and the prosecution answers wth a standard open file policy statement ...
This case being sealed though.. I don't know how it will work.
I know he will know the evidence but not sure when or how he gets it.

Well there is no doubt ex bf will be called to testify. If her story isnt true I imagine he is extremely pissed that he got used for an alibi in a murder investigation. Another thing I wonder about. If she truly has an alibi for the evening Beverly went missing why is she sitting in jail? Wouldn't her lawyer already had her out of there? I mean, she has people that swear she was in clinicals and the rest of the time glued to ex bf side. Seems like a no brainer for any good attorney.

You do have to be separated for 30 days but not when you file the petition. You can leave your husband and file same day if you want.. But, you do have to live separate and apart for 30 days before you can request final hearing and have a decree filed.

I've worked for a lawyer.. One client found out her husband was on the gay internet meeting strange men for sex. She filed immediately and stayed at the house until he was was served with papers and a restraining order. He got them at work and called her shocked . She left then with a restraining order in place to protect her.

Sooo. The lie on the petition was probably about custody.

And.. Since CL filed pro se and with what I just said about not having to be apart to file.. She absolutely could have divorced him when " he wouldn't leave" if she wanted. He then would have had to leave her residence because of the restraining order.

I just remember, when I went as a witness the judge did ask me if they had been not living together in same house hold since the day in the affidavit or whatever its called. I knew personally that they had, so both times I have went it was cut and dry so to speak. < that's all I know about that part haha

My mom was clerk of court for 35 years. Long long days in a courtroom are not fun.

That's why I clarified that way- for people who know him and are questioning the truth about the things that happened in their town. And yes, obviously I am aware that if he was not active on social media, that won't help. I feel strange even trying to defend what I was trying to say because it seems so obvious that if he doesn't use social media, that part doesn't apply or whatever that I didn't need disclaimers. Obviously, I did need them.

OT: I have fibromyalgia and other autoimmune diseases. I've never been drug tested but know my "blood" tests for allergies, vitamin defiences, etc etc have been skewed due to my fibro and autoimmune issues, according to the Dr. E.g. Blood allergy testing (iGe) normal range was something like 16, mine was 765. (No, not a typo) Therefore they could not determine anything other than my health issues skew the blood tests. I have also tested false positive for RA. I test positive one time, next time I dont. So with that being said, I know from experience by blood tests, things can test false positive as well a urine test for drugs. CL could not have been taking illegal drugs or it would've shown up on the hair follicle test. I'm sure CL probably had to provide a list of her prescribed meds before or after the tests. I know my husband has to before being drug tested for work.

FWIW, I take a couple of pain meds, and every once in a while they send me for a surprise urine test before I pick up my prescription to make sure they show up (so I am not selling them) and that nothing else shows up (doctor-shopping) and the test results show exactly my two drugs, from a huge list. So they can test very specifically.

Since she is charged with kidnapping too she either had to help kidnap or hold Beverly against her will.If she has an air tight alibi that she couldnt have been present I would think that would be enough. MHO she doesnt. Or she wouldnt be there to begin with.

Are you sure she had to be present to be charged with kidnapping? Seems like just being involved in the planning of a kidnapping would be enough to be charged for it.

I didn't mean it at all the way you took it. I thought that I was missing something about knowing who he is. I thought NJ was the only person on here that knew CL personally, of course I could be wrong. Which was why I ask. I certainly didn't mean to insult you.
