So, are you disputing the information above stating that it wasn't 12 weeks? Are you saying that yes, she lied to you? Or something else? Not being combative, curious.

She told me it was 2 years. I have no reason not to believe her but someone posted a link to what showed less than 12 weeks. I assume this could be a mistake and someone at child support did not check the right box. Mistakes do happen. It could also mean I misunderstood what CL told me. of course it could also mean she lied to me. I can't figure out what lying about child support would do? $100 per pay period seems excessive for less than 12 weeks behind.

Could the arrears have been from when he took custody of his son but then agreed to keep paying support? Just wondering.. And it doesn't matter one bit. All it proves is that CL lied to NJ about how far behind he was.
I'm still blown away that he payed the child support while supporting one of the children in his home AND was expected to pay gym fees. Wish my ex was half the man..

I get the impression that CL is very good at manipulation and fear that she has done this to her friends, the ones that are standing beside her because they care about her. Not just NJ but the others as well. Someone a few posts back said they think she is narcissistic and the more I read about her and hear about her I think they are right. I really do feel bad for the ones left in her path when all this is over. I hate seeing people get hurt and I fear that will be the case. MHO CL has come up with stories that fit CL and has been deceptive about alot of things

So which do you think it is, as it clearly can't be all of the above? If the wrong box was check, it would have been corrected. One would think. Why would she lie? Well, from my experience, why does anyone lie? Cause they can and they typically do about a lot of things. It's not usually one lie. we can't discuss how much he makes, but he's only paying an extra of $200 a month. For many people I know, that would be easy and something they would want to do to get it over with.

Lying to you about her ex being behind in child support made you feel sorry for her. It made you think she was this struggling single mom. It caused you to feel sympathy for her.... It made her a martyr. Crystal is a master manipulater!!

No I did not know about this. I was told that she went and got the daughter but she made it sound like it was during the day. I never knew about the sneaking out in middle of night. I wonder if this has been confused perhaps?

That's exactly what I was going to post! That lying to NJ was probably to create sympathy and paint a picture of poor poor me.

I had forgotten about that statement. From his wording, it sounded like she showed up early morning and had not let them know she was coming. I didn't realize it was 4:30 am and she snuck out and just left without them knowing she had ever been there.
I think you're the sleuth Knox and I'm just the opinionated reader, sometimes onsite investigator (way back in the beginning) and basically a wannabe sleuth.

CL was married in Oct 1991 in Texas - to Ray Tarver (from public record). They divorced in July 1992 (public record) She had a baby girl with him ("CT") who is now in her 20's. And who recently visited KL-- apparently to help out with HL & AL in this somewhat chaotic new household situation. I have been unable to find any current record of the former spouse other than another marriage right after that lasted a little over a year. And I know nobody in the case... this is all just from facebook and public record. I'm a verified outsider!

He didn't necessarily believe it.... But it was a huge red flag that something sketchy was going on.

So...I sit here thinking mostly about AL and SMH. Soooo many people's lives he has destroyed. Holidays for these families are going to be tough. Keep them in your prayers.

and more importantly I think about the poor Carter family who did nothing to deserve losing their wife, mother and grandmother over some senseless act of violence at the hands of a couple of money hungry, crazy, no count lunatics, IMO. I was just thinking that our REAL victim, Beverly, hasn't even been mentioned lately. She paid the ultimate price for other people's poor decisions. End of story.

Sorry I just woke up. Haven't even read anything else but that hit me wrong. I think she was capable of it from what I've read about her decision making. If she was, I'm sure it will come out at trial.

So first, she "led you to believe" it was during the day. Now... You have details about what she told you.

It makes me Sick that you believe her so adamantly after all you have learned. Everyone's a liar except CL and the clerks clicked the wrong button and LE made a false arrest just to get information.
