Brooke’s case is so sad to me. It seems there haven’t been any recent updates; it’s like her case has just gotten ‘lost’ among other things (IMO). :(

Brooke Allensworth was last seen on July 12, 2018, a day after getting her hair and nails done at a salon in Independence County, Arkansas. She was 37 years old. According to NBC affiliate KARK, Brooke’s father reported her missing on July 26 to the Searcy County Police Department, as Brooke lived in Searcy County at the time. On July 27, police in Independence County got a call that a vehicle registered to Brooke was found under a bridge. Some of her personal belongings were found inside the car. There was no sign of a struggle. A Facebook post by the Independence County Sheriff’s Office said police spoke with “several individuals” who had contact with Brooke in the days preceding her disappearance. Though no information led them to Brooke’s whereabouts, tips started coming in from multiple counties and the case was transferred to the Arkansas State Police Department. There have been no updates in her case.

It's just so weird. There was no reason for her to even be on that road if she was going to Searcy from Newport. It's a straight shot on US 67/167. They don't say where she had the flat and I think that would clear up a lot of stuff.

The link above is to the fb page for Brooke that now replaces the previous one (that stopped working a while back). It appears it has the same admins including the JoJo For Justice ladies.

Honestly, you have to weed through some of the posts, but there is a photo posted of what Brooke looked like the night she disappeared after visiting the salon. It shows her with blonde hair.

This was mentioned somewhere here in the thread, I'm pretty certain. I was looking for something else and came across the missing lady (Brooke) in Namus and decided to look here on websleuths for a thread. Let's assume for a minute that she did leave from Newport to travel back to Searcy. Given where her "flat" occurred and her vehicle was "found", she was going in the wrong direction. While she could have gotten to Searcy from Newport, it would have taken her 2x longer than it would to have driven directly on 67S. Oil Trough is 12 miles to the West of Newport, and then another 43 miles South to Searcy, over an hour's driving time. Straight down 67S from Newport to Searcy is 41 miles, approx 37 minutes. While possible she may have selected the longer route of travel, it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
