Sometimes, people dont talk because they have been overstating what was going on...a little embellishment, a little drama. Dont know in this case, but perhaps the information in that kind of baiting, leading post doesnt really measure up to relevancy? Just a guess based upon nothing but the response and the idea that someone would put something so personal and material out there as a tease rather than just turning the info over and keeping it off of social media.

It is a little exasperating to think that at this late date we dont have phone and real, specific clothing info. Bob Harrods case, which is referenced in my signature, has a similar set of circumstances. The initial description of clothing was crazy. It was amended later to someones best guess, but he was physically seen kwim? There should have been a clear precise physical description. If Cassie's blue and white outfit and blue boots is JC's best guess, by golly lets put out TS/HS information regarding clothing last seen in.

Unless of course that clothing is already in the hands of LE. It must be, right? If JC/BR believe she changed, then those clothes should have been in the house right? I would like to know what she was wearing when dropped off and where it is now.

I think it is taunting and cruel as well if the "secret" was not communicated to LE, as LE seemed to imply when it was given to them as a tip from Caring.

There is a lot of opportunity here to make Cassie's case higher profile in her community and some great suggestions by sleuthers on how to attend these events while still making an impact. More good opportunities for tip boxes and the like...I hope to hear of organized efforts around those events soon.

I checked out SIL's FB and she is a bit of a drama queen and likes to start conflict between family members, so personally, I'm not going to take much from it. If it is anything then I don't think it's anything more than what we all suspect could have been going on in that household.

I see that drama! But look at the bottom, that was pointed out to me. It's Cassie's brother supposedly but I am certain his wife, or GF was posting as HIM. It's on his page and BOTH of her pages.

Here is what I suspect. I bet it was reported,more ported to JC. Remember someone stated earlier on in the FBI group before it was shut down and reopened that JC was following her own leads?

STM, do you know if the landfill has been searched or talk of it? Is Stuttgart part of the waste management program? They would know where to start looking by the date. Everything they do is gridded by date.

Do a lot of people in the area own heavy equipment?

Not a local, but that's what my sources clarified for me, fwiw. Dumpsters and landfills being an area of big concern, unfortunately.

ETA: foiaonline.registration(s).gov, I think? One of the reasons why it would be good if just one person filed for us collectively and then posted- so we don't waste time and energy and the governments' resources all filing for the same request. It's easier in paper.

So hopefully twinmom will get back to us!

I've wondered about dumpsters, too. Sadly, it was so long after her last seen time before her missing status was taken seriously. There is a dumpster that sits one block north, and 1 block west of Cassie's house (at the car wash). Using the alley would have provided cover for transport.

If anything were to ever happen to anyone I knew/cared about, after the authorities, this would be the very next place I'd ask for help. You're all wonderful. It warms my heart to know complete strangers (as well as some locals) ARE working 'behind the scenes' to find this young lady. When it appears most in her area have stopped.

Cassie, I hope one day you read this and realize how important you are and that people care. I'm hoping today will be the day you are found or go home on your own.

Was just thinking about her today, too. I don't want her story to go cold. The girl from Redfield was found (alive), we know the results of the BC case, and this story still is ongoing. I hope the best possible outcome is found in the least amount of time for Cassie.

We do have some easily answered questions for our locals-

Cassies House-how many entry/exits? Someone must have driven by on the way to the market

Future plans for searches and/or flyer drops? Upcoming media or press releases? Is law enforcement intending to make a statement or hold a press conference prior to the tourists and hunters arriving in force? What a great way to focus everyone's attention should they come across anything possibly related to the disappearance.

I see on the FB page Find Cassie Compton that there is a request for a Porchlight Vigil at 7PM on Friday November 14. I guess that is the time this group believes she disappeared? I wonder what that is based on? The txt to HS was later iirc and her last seen with her Mom was earlier wasnt it?

No matter, it would be nice if the local media covered it, even with a blurb.

Sorry for all of the back to backs-Do some of our verified insiders have photographs of the search areas...not ones with people necessarily but ones that can give us an idea of the terrain being targeted? Pouring over coordinates on Google Earth isnt the same.

The Compton's (small) house has a minimum of three doors, possibly a fourth at the back not visible from the street. There are two doors in the carport on the SW and one into the fenced area for three dogs on the E. Residential trash pickup is curbside, preferably bagged, twice a week by city sanitation. The city is real generous with curbside pickup. If something is too big for truck men to pick up, like trashed furniture, they call a truck with a claw to follow up. Commercial customers pay an extra fee to have a green dumpster placed in the alley. Rural customers use the Waste Management household bins.
