A new photo showing Caillava and Camila (Laudelina's daughter) knew each other before the lunch, which contradicts what Caillava said - that she didn't know anyone at the lunch besides the grandmother.

Oh, so the expiration is tonight at midnight. I was looking for anything new and couldn't find much. We will have to wait until tomorrow.

Key day: the secrecy of the investigation expires

This Monday at midnight, the secrecy order imposed by the federal judge of Goya, Cristina Pozzer Penzo, will begin as soon as she took charge of the case. In addition, in the next few days the first six detainees in the case will be questioned.

Judge Pozzer Penzo will open the investigation as of the first minute of this Tuesday. The defense lawyers will have access for the first time to the results of the expert reports, searches and statements that have been collected since June 26, when the magistrate formally accepted jurisdiction in the case.

Laudelina is Camila's Aunt/Loan's cousin. This article is wrong.

Laudelina Peña will testify first on Wednesday, July 17. Fernando Burlando believes that "she will say who participated in the acquisition of Loan, what their objective was and "she can tell us, as I understand it, who helped her to make that version, which I repeat, is absurd."

In any case, he clarified that "Laudelina has been lying to us a lot, so it is good that, in addition to saying what she says, it can be corroborated with facts."

Laudelina Peña will testify from the Ezeiza prison and those close to her assure that she will reveal shocking names and the case will be fully clarified. Laudelina has reportedly decided to report three people who could be involved in the case. Loan's aunt will testify tomorrow from the Ezeiza prison via a Zoom video call , in what will be the first extension of the investigation in this complex case.

They claim that Laudelina will accuse her own lawyer, a senator, and two drivers of having forced her to change her initial statement to protect those truly responsible for her nephew's disappearance.

Laudelina's accusations target powerful figures, which could have profound implications for the investigation. Laudelina's accusation could not only help clarify Loan's whereabouts, but also expose a network of corruption and cover-up within the power structures .

Trouble is, can we believe anything she says at this point?!

I know. She is such a liar. However, this time she has spent some time in prison, so maybe she realizes how serious this is. My guess is she will accuse her husband and Commissioner Maciel of orchestrating the kidnapping. Hopefully, she will give us the names of all involved, if she knows.

It looks like Laudelina was summoned to give her testimony last night by zoom from the prison. This was a day earlier than planned. I'm trying to see if anyone knows what she said...

The Federal Court has summoned Diego Pellegrini, the provincial senator who was accused of threatening Laudelina Peña, to testify in order to declare the theory that María Victoria Caillava and Carlos Pérez ran over Loan Danilo Peña, sources linked to the investigation reported on Wednesday. The request, which was "very urgent", was sent to the Senate of the province of Corrientes.

"He must testify in the case: Disappearance of the Minor Loan Peña in process before the federal court of Goya regarding the points of the attached document within the third day of being duly notified, at the same time that he will be informed that he can waive this prerogative and appear in person at the court headquarters, during office hours and/or call the telephone numbers in advance to set the time and date, and may also do so spontaneously," the request states.

The legislator was pointed out by Macarena Peña, Laudelina's daughter, as one of the men who took her to testify alongside lawyer José Codazzi.

Tuesday afternoon: Tuesday's session began with a virtual hearing that lasted four and a half hours, in which the indictment was read to Laudelina and the other six defendants and detainees: Pérez, Caillava, Commissioner Walter Maciel, Daniel Ramírez, known as Fierrito, Mónica del Carmen Millapi and Bernardino Antonio Benítez, Loan's aunt's partner.

"Those who are housed in the same prison had no contact. They participated in the hearing each in a separate room," a source who participated in the hearing told Infobae. Each one followed from their place of detention. The only one who is housed in the women's prison in Ezeiza is Laudelina. Caillava, Pérez, Maciel, Millapi and Benítez are in the Federal Penitentiary Complex No. 3 in Güemes, in Salta, and Ramírez is in prison in a penitentiary unit in Resistencia, in Chaco.

Tuesday night: Laudelina Peña, Loan Danilo Peña's aunt, testified before the federal judge of Goya. The first of the seven defendants to give her version of the day the boy disappeared, began the investigation at 7 p.m. and ended after midnight. Judge Cristina Pozzer Penzo, decided just after midnight to modify the order of the next investigations of the other six detainees. (The article doesn't say the what the new order of testifying is though.)

Although Caillava and her husband, Captain (RE) Pérez, were summoned today, the investigation agenda changed after Laudelina's statement. Now, Bernardino Antonio Benítez and Daniel Oscar Ramírez , who were to testify next Monday alongside Mónica del Carmen Millapi , have been summoned to testify this Wednesday, as this media has learned.

Laudelina Peña, who is being held in the Ezeiza prison, requested that she be granted house arrest to be close to her daughters. However, the Federal Court has not yet made a decision on the matter.

Noticias Argentinas has access to the official document which explains the participation of each of those involved in Loan's disappearance.

On Thursday, June 13, at around 3 p.m., Pérez and Caillava captured the minor and took him to an unknown destination for exploitation purposes. The recruitment took place in the vicinity of the house of Catalina Peña, Loan's paternal grandmother, located in Paraje Algarrobal in the town of 9 de Julio, Corrientes.

The couple had the collaboration of Benítez, Ramírez and Millapi, who removed the minor from the custody of his father, taking him to a wooded area at a distance of 600 meters from the minor's home, with the excuse of picking and eating oranges.

From that date to June 21, the former commissioner of July 9 altered traces and evidence of the incident he discovered, thus hindering the course of the investigation, by removing a shoe from the mud that was later confirmed to be Loan's.

The shoe was found by Laudelina Peña, and it was later determined by the report of the deputy director of civil defense that the evidence in question had been intentionally placed to divert the investigation, since the minor had not been at the location of the shoe.

In this way, it was resolved that the seven accused are co-authors criminally responsible "prima facie" in order to the alleged crime of abduction of a minor under 10 years of age from the power of his parents, guardian or person in charge of him, and whoever retained or concealed him .

The document also points out that this abduction and concealment does not exclude the existence of other possible crimes of which the child could have been a victim at the scene of the crime.

It was also reported that Maciel and Caillava were also charged with the crime of threats.

In her testimony, which Infobae had access to from sources in the case, Laudelina Peña said via Zoom from the Ezeiza prison that she received 50 thousand pesos (roughly $2,800) for planting the version of the accident, and not the promise of “a house and a car” that she had said in the past.

In the middle, she involved her former lawyer, José Codazzi, and another political figure, provincial senator Diego Pellegrini: “Codazzi, her then lawyer, put her in a car and then she was put in a van where the provincial senator Diego Pellegrini was, who was the one who was pushing the hardest. Later, when she went to testify as a defendant, she went to give the 50 thousand pesos to the prosecutor, but Codazzi would not leave her alone for a minute. The 50 thousand pesos were put in her jacket when she was arrested and now they are seized in Ezeiza,” a source reconstructed.

She also claimed that María Victoria Caillava -whom her daughters called "Aunt Victoria"- gave her Loan's loot and forced her to plant it.
