I think that it is the face of addiction. I thought he had an "addict personality", and some photos of him with kids raise several flags, IMHO, JMO, either, but maybe, also substance-induced dementia setting in? Alcohol causes it early enough.
I really wish there were automatic drug & alcohol tests in these cases. In the vids his movements look off to me? Could be alcohol and trying to look sober but I think maybe something else? The drama and over the top antics that ceased immediately when away from ES were so striking. Their dynamic is profoundly sick, as is her petting him and the kiss in front of LE. Up there with him telling LE they can watch him shower. Feel so very sad for all 4 girls, does not seem to be a healthy or safe home on MANY levels. MOOO.

Sarcasm warning:
I'm SO glad that poor Christopher is safe at home in his beautiful house, with his beautiful wife, able to take showers when he wants, pour big glasses of ice water when he feels like it, play video games 24-7, get coddled and meals made for him, while the wifey deals with any grief and fear that two little girls who lost their baby sister in a big "oopsie" might feel. God forbid we inconvenience anyone charged with felony murder thanks to their own actions.
/sarcasm off

When is his next court date? Not soon enough, in my book.

My husband was in Marana on 7/9 looking at cars. Like many newer vehicles this one has the option of turning on the AC without running the engine or leaving the AC running when you turn off the engine. I was pretty excited to try these functions out.

I have news for CS, it really isn’t very cool in 105* heat! We’ve tried cooling the car before getting in and leaving the AC on for me in the passenger seat, when the driver got out. It kind of feels like running the fan on high, there is plenty of air moving but it isn’t cold air. It makes me even more angry at CS knowing he did this regularly to all 4 of the girls. I’m sure in normal weather conditions this works fine, but the heat waves we’ve been having aren’t normal.

Well, it was just another daughter. Not a son. You know...I really wonder if CS was passive aggressive about watching kids all day, because I personally find it difficult to understand an adult not noticing that a 2 year old is missing for hours.

Oh, I forgot, the car manufacturer is at fault, after all, CS did leave the car on with his daughter in it, with the AC on...

He was enjoying the peace and quiet, fixating (obsessing) on his video games with no interruptions from pesky toddlers for once. He knew it was wrong. He knew she was in danger. But his priorities are grotesquely skewed, and he thought (if he thought at all) that he'd get away with it. With no negative consequences.

His forward thinking was not working.

Because he was aware of everything he needed to be aware of, to know how dangerous the situation truly was. But he ignored all that. And just carried on, as if he really didn't know. But he did know. I wonder what was happening in his brain, while his precious baby was suffering in the heat, her organs shutting down, and she was slowly dying, unbearably hot and confused and all alone. IMO

I really don't think he would have treated his son(s) any differently.

Thanks! I’d been checking to see if the hearing is still on with no luck.

According to the video it’s a case management hearing so basically a status hearing and will likely last about 5 minutes.

This is normally the time Sholtes’ pre trial hearing should be scheduled.

Apparently there’s a lot of evidence that investigators are sorting through so (IMO) we may see some delays.
