TBI Announced Suspect and Charges in Holly Bobo Case

http://tbinews.wordpress.com/2014/03/06/tbi-announced-suspect-and-charges-in-holly-bobo-case/

This investigation is still very active and ongoing. Evidence collected and leads developed from recent search warrant executions are still being examined. The possibility of additional suspects in this case exists. The motive and circumstances surrounding Holly’s disappearance are still being investigated.

This story is far from over. Fingers are being pointed, details are coming to light. Investigators are busy. I've seen the proof. #HollyBobo

I did ask him

Maybe this has been discussed...I'm still catching up on the thread.

What sticks out to me is: how can they say definitively that she is DECEASED. For them to charge him with murder and, more importantly, take away the family's hope that she might still be alive, means (to me) that they have something pretty significant.

So...my thought...and I hate even typing it...is that they found "part" of her. As in, he dismembered her and they found something to indicate she is dead (ie, body part...I hate thinking that).

As a parent, I'd need proof that my child was dead. Just someone saying they were sure wouldn't cut it for me. If they said, however, "We found her (insert part here)," then I would be more inclined to accept it.

I suppose Joe Schmo could have come forward and said they saw the killing or were told first-hand about it, but it seems like they would still need more evidence to back that up.

reminder: if you guys are bringing something here related to the case PLEASE LINK IT TO MSM... Topix is a :nono: and any other rumors are a :nono: please thank you and all that jazz and happy belated fat tuesday!

Even if he would have released Holly after he kidnapped her he still could have been arrested for especially aggravated kidnapping. But because he did not release her and killed her, allegedly, he is being charged with both especially aggravated kidnapping and first degree murder. The kidnapping did not cause her death, but because she was murdered while she was kidnapped this makes it a capitol offense.

They could have found some of her skeletal remains, IMO.

Maybe there is some type of video or photograph evidence that leads LE to knowing Holly is deceased. That would explain the not knowing "where" she is part, yet knowing she is gone.

Do we know anything about ZA that suggests he would want to keep a "trophy?" Like with Tammy Moorer and the speculation that she did, based on her obsessive photo taking/posting. I take it he didn't leave much of an online footprint, so I'm curious to see what else comes out about his personality.

My speculation is that someone told LE how Holly was killed and during the search, they found some sort of evidence to support the story and that is the reason for the murder charge.

This is my personal opinion and not necessarily the opinion of Websleuths LLC. You are free to respectfully disagree.

I have this mental picture of ZA's buds scurrying around right now like rats :floorlaugh:

omgomgomgomg - have been working weird hours & just saw this news now!!!

:seeya: Thank You, Amanda !

I have not looked at this in a while, but are there any photos from the "coon hunt" ?

I was wondering IF there were and IF so, is there anyone in particular who could be identified as being at the coon hunt, like ZA ?

TIA !

Well, that is a good question. That neighbor of Zach's said there was some kind of stalking of Holly at the coon hunt (which really sounds legit to me) but last night the family spokesman Kevin Bromley said Holly did not sing there, and that Karen did not attend. That totally contradicts what we have heard from others so far.

I thought I had a vid of Holly singing at the coon hunt, but I am at a loss to find it (no time) in the 805 files in the main archive.

As awful the thought is, I am sure you are not the only one who had it. It's sad we even have to discuss it. However, I agree with you. They would have to have some evidence of her in order to prove murder. The only case that comes to mind that would be an exception is that case of the doctor (Dr. B–something, it's an older case and I don't remember the specifics off the top of my head) who was convicted of murdering his wife (girlfriend?) and dumping the remains over the ocean via private plane. IIRC, they never recovered a body or DNA.

That little ramble aside, it might also be something like blood at a location known to the perp or the perp's vehicle. DNA testing takes a long time, and maybe that DNA has to be matched before they can definitively say something. Or it could be as simple as not being available to us because it would compromise or hurt the investigation.

Whatever the details of the case, I hope it is a strong one and justice is served.

I recall a video of her singing in church but I've never seen one at the coon hunt.
