I don't. It makes me absolutely sick. I'm praying to see some humanity. I think we WANT to see that so we can go to bed at night with a bit of hope for humanity. JMO.

You're not going see any humanity from lm. Imo, he abandoned his humanity quite some time ago. And chances are, he doesn't hold himself responsible for that. jmo

This may answer questions about his being transported

http://www.csc-scc.gc.ca/text/plcy/cdshtm/566-6-cd-eng.shtml

If he get's air sick he could have been given some gravol which probably made him sleep most of the flight.

Gravol is actually ineffective as a sedative for a large number of people (myself included). It wouldn't likely have made him as sleepy as he appeared.
It is possible that he was panicking and received a mild sedative to calm him down for the flight.
But it appears that they wouldn't have given him any medication if he wasn't physically ill or flipping out with anxiety. And even then, it would be mild so he would still know what is going on (and he did appear to know what was going on. As somebody pointed out, he had no trouble getting into the vehicle).

I could be misinterpreting the stuff at the link you posted, but that is what I make of it anyway.

He looks drugged.

I agree, he's medicated. I also think the dozen cops and officials, military plane, and police caravan are outrageous. Really? He has been compliant from the moment of his capture, weighs all of about 120lbs, and is sedated. What a waste of taxpayer money. What's the point of all that?

(I may have missed it if anyone asked/said this already). Is the guy in the dark suit/white shirt that was beside him in the entire departure from the plane to the van and the van to the jail, his appointed lawyer? I know he had a German lawyer but since he is back, he should be getting an appointed one, right?
Just curious because the guy in the dark suit seemed to be sticking close to him and almost guiding his movements, he sat beside him in the van and at one point it looks like he is whispering/telling LRM something.
Sorry if that was incoherent but I am tired and ready for bed now. Just logged in to see if he arrived today. TIA!

At the end, he looks like he's either about to smile or cry.

looked like a wee bit of a smirk to me....
but he does look rather subdued....maybe he is on some meds....esp if he claimed to those he was in custody with that he needs certain meds, maybe they gave them to him.

i dont personally WANT to see anything...i viewed it not knowing what i was going to see. i read no other opinions on it...
i see a cocky smirk and that he is eating up the fame. the same smirk will prob be seen in court...

When he gets to the station he appears very sedated indeed almost asleep on his feet. Not sure why that would be necessary.

Not sure; but I don't think his lawyer would be holding him by the arm that way. Additionally I don't believe that the Canadian Authorities would allow his lawyer to be an escort.

Paul Bernardo legally changed his name as well. I don't think we need to respect that change. He and Eric Newman change names to hide from their past and I agree with the reporter that we, the public, should not go along with it.

Paul Bernardo legally changed his name to Paul Jason Teale on Feb. 13, 1993; Bernardo and Wife Charged in Slayings of 2 Teens, Toronto Star, May 19, 1993
~ wikipedia article on Bernardo

I simply gave the link without personal comment because someone else questioned whether his change of name was legal or not.

They were also not taking any chances that someone would shoot him. In Canada, as in other countries, you are innocent until proven guilty. They want to ensure that the public is safe, he doesn't escape and that he stand trial in front of a jury.

I don't believe he has been appointed a lawyer yet until he goes before the judge and is read what he is being formally charged with but I may be wrong.

I agree with you about most everything but this. All along I see his perceived arrogance as a total charade. I don't think he's truly arrogant at all. It's his mask, imo. Otherwise, he wouldn't be doing what he does, including eating other people's *** just for example. Or trying to get selected for plastic surgery shows. Or hiring limos to take a "girl" who he likes on a date at a fancy restuarant even though he probably literally sold his butt to do it and then refuse to have any kind of sexual relationship with her. What I see is "okay, be careful what you wish for b/c, dude, you got it in spades and there's no turning back." The anticipated very effed up end game that was coming sooner or later. jmo

Hey guys, hello Jujercu, thanks for the warm welcome! I want to believe that the anonymous user with ID blUNJBxK from chanarchive link is Magnotta mainly because at least explains some of his reasons for the murder and the manner he did commit such an horrible crime.
Of course I also read everything with a pinch of salt, it could be another random troll or someone impersonating him to gather info for his arrest. But those comments are just so 'lukaesque' like someone else here described that it's hard for me to disregard, I mean, I've been trying to get inside his head and from what I've been gathering I suppose that someone like Luka probably felt that after creating his 'masterpiece' and final ticket to worldwide fame (for us he is infamous but to him any attention, even negative is seem as a good feedback because it meant people noticed him and cared) so I think it probably felt very lonely afterwards not being able to share his thoughts about his biggest 'accomplishment in life'. ID blUNJBxK almost sound a bit cocky and invicible, like he believed he wouldn't be caught so soon, in his mind he thought he would be somewhere far away eating popcorn and watching the show.

Anyway I personally want to believe it could be Magnotta himself mostly because it gives me some explanation to what happened and why. Since I've read about this gruesome murder I keep asking myself 'why?' would he do something so grotesque and I wish I could hear from Magnotta his reasons, because any murderer usually give some explanation even if for us sounds illogical and absurd but to them is real and logical. JMHO, I need some peace of mind, it's so disturbing this case :(

Thanks everyone again for your replies and the great discussion and sorry if I didn't reply every single message but I'm still trying to find my way around in this forum and english is not my native language so I need to be a bit careful before posting so it doesn't look very messy! take care

Yes to me it is a very strange scene, agreed. And why he is riding in that crummy reddish van it makes it seem his Dad is picking him up from the airport. The usual practical and symbolic thing would be a regular police vehicle. With regular police officers in regular police uniforms.

More and more I think he is a very hot potato politically. Strauss Kahn's career was brought down by one complaint. I feel they need to show somebodythat they are treating him in a very kid gloves manner. And he is quite drugged they don't want him talking - to anyone.

On one blog where he says you don't believe the things that I have seen and the things that I have done I personally think that rings of the truth.

For me the thing that doesn't fit in my own interpretation of LM is the animal killing - it is out of the usual age sequence for such acts and the oddness of the trajectory kitten killing, at 25 global killing spectacle at 29 is atypical to say the least.

When he gets to the station he appears very sedated indeed almost asleep on his feet. Not sure why that would be necessary.

It's possible that he had been given some sort of meds, but it's also possible that he is just tired. Nearly 9 hours of flight would make me look pretty dazed and sleepy, too.

this guy is on heavy psych meds. treading into tinfoil hat-land, I venture to say; he's dreaming about kittens & snakes as he walks down this staircase & in front of a camera. Not likely behavior for The Luka in his 'right mind'. this is a major blow to authorities, to allow such obvious drugging of a sane (although demented) criminal.

We have 0 proof he's on anything, how is this a major blow? I can't imagine they would give him anything to counteract such statements.

Perfect thanx best video I wanted all day to see up close . He looks medicated .Very restricted affect, no eye contact - blunted facial expression odd body gate - psyc meds!

I think he looks arrogant and that he thinks he holding all the cards. I doubt his trip was pleasant ... sitting amongst normal men that know he's a demented freak. He looks perfectly alert other than when he tries to avoid the camera by looking away or closing his eyes.

Thanks for the link. What I see when I watch this is a very smug, conceited and arrogant individual. One who doesn't give a hoot about his actions but someone who seemed to be expecting that there would have been hundreds of cameras, etc. No moment of glory for his return and that is a good thing. Another thing I noticed was the two Montreal police and their faces as they look him in the face on their arrival for detention. I am sure they are wondering, how (since his stature is small and weak looking and also why? Hopefully we will get an explanation from LM but I won't hold my breath that it will be truthful.

That's what I'm seeing too.

Well at least we know who the prosecuting team is...

Two high-profile Crown prosecutors have been assigned to his case: Hélène Di Salvo and Louis Bouthillier.

Well, I just saw the video of LM walking off of the plane and into the tinted window SUV with police escorts and armed guards. Bleh! I HATE, HATE, HATE to think about how much LM was probably enjoying this attention.
Yeah, sadly, I agree. He probably thinks he is just like Kevin Spacey in SEVEN. Ugh.
