That being said, given the symptoms of vomiting and crying that Magnotta demonstrated on the flight to Paris (per the blog of the gentleman sitting next to him on the flight), I believe Magnotta might have been experiencing withdrawal from heroin. If this is the case, upon his arrival in Paris he would be desperate for a "fix" of heroin or another drug which would tame his withdrawal symptoms. If that is the case and he met someone who could help him get that "fix", that would explain the 2 1/2 day hookup to me.

I had also thought that the behaviour on the plane could be because he was in withdrawal from some drug, heroin, cocaine.....

And the hook up scenario you suggest doesn't sound too far fetched. It would be interesting to hear the other man's story, after all he did go to the police.

Luka Rocco Magnotta: Best Gore website owner may be charged

MONTREAL—Montreal police are examining whether to pursue charges against the owner of an Edmonton-based website whose raison d’être is to show real depictions of gore and death.
The site, Best Gore, carried a video that police say showed the actual slaying of 33-year old Chinese student Jun Lin, allegedly at the hands of Luka Rocco Magnotta.
“We’re in contact with Edmonton police authorities and there could be some accusations about this,” said Commander Ian Lafreniere.
“We’re talking about a human. It’s extremely difficult for the family, what they’re living through, and on top of this you have some people watching the whole scene.”

Early on when I was following Beavis Butthead's youtube.com channel, in his comment feed he had an old comment (from maybe a few weeks ago) on a video of posted by another youtube user, which appeared to show someone with a facial tic problem. The video was posted by the user "Stldetrl" (http://www.youtube.com/user/Stldetrl), and it was almost certainly a video of LRM.

The bizarre thing, was that the video only had like 10 views and Beavis Butthead commented on it, thanking another commentator for posting a comment. It seemed almost as if Beavis Butthead had forgotten to log into the proper sockpuppet with the comment.

Both the video, and the comment, however, are now gone. But many posters to Beavis Butthead's youtube channel saw it. For example, one person posted this comment to Stldetrl's page:

Basically, I thought Beavis Butthead's bizarre questions about the case on his Youtube channel-- many of which mirrored statements made on obvious LRM sockpuppet accounts-- along with the randomness of Beavis Butthead posting a comment on an obscure video of a LRM (with a facial tic!) suggested he was LRM.

With LRM arrested and BB still posting, he's obviously not LRM-- but he seems much closer to this than your average troll. I mean, why is spamming his questions to youtube, and now the data lounge? Why the weird complimentary posts, "rating" LRM's looks? Why delete the comment on the LRM facial tic video?

I also found BB's comments about the case, very similar to comments about videos uploaded to the HollyWoodLoveLetters Youtube account, which other websleuths have flagged as potential LRM sockpuppets.

Unfortunately, HollywoodLoveLetters' videos are now private; so it cant' be LRM making these changes to accounts via a Berlin prison...

I think you're on to something. It seems unlikely to me that LRM is the only one in on this. He strikes me as a cold, vacant pleasure-seeker who would kill for money in order to continue living the kind of life he wants. But he doesn't strike me as being bright enough to keep track of these hundreds if personas going back 5+ years all by himself.

This example you mention above is very, very curious. This could be the first discovered slip-up of a second party. I hope more people are following these bread crumbs that hbe been dropped over the years. I really believe there is more to this story than one deranged guy.

If that's the case, then Canada Post really messed up. They knew the two original packages had been sent and that other body parts were missing. Those two packages should never have reached their final destination.

I would think that if my scenario is correct, I would imagine that the other man might conveniently forget to mention any drug use in a media interview (or police interview) given the negative impact it could have in relation to his family, employer, friends. That's just my opinion, I could be wrong....

If these packages were sent by Magnotta over 12 days ago, I would suggest that all Canadians express their outrage at the awful idea of timely deliver that the Canadian Postal Service seems to have. You realize that Magnotta could have gotten the package from Montreal to Vancouver faster if he had walked it there.

All one would need to do is glance at the mugshot and watch a second of the videos the "news" is "reporting" are new and the differences in appearance (weight, complexion, and countless others) and say "which one of these things doesn't belong with the other"...

Unless Helen Keller is the reporter, these "news" outlets have no excuse for the bollocks that they are publishing...

I know what you mean. Not to defend the media but LE would be communicating in French and much is being skewed in the translation. I'll have to check out specifically what you're talking about in your post but I've noticed that it appears English media is using babelfish rather than a bilingual reporter to write much of whats printed.

Because the media will focused on the memorial today, there is a fierce urgency to add elements which would help make it a fitting tribute for the cameras and, more important, demonstrate to his parents that his son was someone who the community embraced and will miss.

Let me add - I just think it seems unlikely that he could keep up with this vast web of personas, message boards, YouTube videos while at the same time being an escort and a junkie.

Also - his interests seem just a bit too far-ranging for a single person - horror films, music, pop culture, hockey, video games, deep web, gore, photoshopping, video editing, serial killers.

The time frame is not unusual for mailing something across the country, HastinsChi. I would imagine he mailed it the cheapest rate. What we SHOULD be complaining about is the fact that a 12 day old body part made it all the way across the country without anyone smelling anything and reporting it BEFORE it made it to two schools with young children attending. Are you seriously going to tell me the guy who delivered the packages didn't smell ANYTHING?

Has it been established where these packages were mailed from? Were they all mailed from different postal outlets? I only ask because I'd read LE had some footage of LRM from a postal outlet - you'd think other Canada Post outlets in Montreal would've been reviewing their security footage as well to determine if other packages had been mailed...
