I am not a doctor and I don't play one on TV and I am not a betting man, but I'd bet my life that Magnotta has NEVER had any form of elective plastic surgery. If he had any plastic surgery, and I highly doubt he did, it would only be plastic surgery associated with an accident or maybe a nose job because of some form of breathing issue.

If he cared as much about his appearance as he wants us to believe he does, the two items he would have been sure to have while on the lamb were his foundation and his ProActiv. One glance at his mugshot makes it clear to me he didn't use these items like he would when he would when appearing in media related activities.

It seems that collectively we are getting too caught up in the false claims that Magnotta desperately wants us to focus on (lottery, plastic surgery, KH, Russian Mafia, and the list is endless) while we lose focus on the crime at hand, and more importantly the innocent victim: Jun/Justin Lin, a peaceful man.

No one has come out with anything yet. For that matter, there's no explanation why he chose to send parts to the headquarters of political parties either, rather than send them to any other high-profile place like a news station. It's baffling.

A great interview with one of his former friends stated

Magnotta was a serious “homebody,” Dave says, and he rarely wanted to go out. The one time the two went to a bar together, Magnotta insisted it be late at night. “He didn’t want to be seen.”

Reading this, in conjunction with the reviews of his escort work (which noted the photos didn't match the real life person) allowed me to understand that Magnotta went to great lengths/recuperation to be able to pull of THE Luka Magnotta character publicly in order to somewhat resemble his online appearance and claims. I doubt it was an easy task and he felt it was much easier to hide behind a keyboard and spread his bollocks to all his postage stamp sized friends online.

Michael Rafferty gained a huge amount of weight in jail just awaiting trial. He looked 80 pounds heavier and 20 years older from what we saw compared to his earlier web pictures.
