Yeah, I had posted previously that LRM had posted on an S&M site-- using one of his notorious handles "cutelittlenemo1" looking for a dom in "Arizona or Los Angeles".

However, I see in the dossier put together by the animal rights activists who were tracking LRM as the "Kitten Killer", they believed that he often posted in this way to give the impression he was in other cities (including L.A., Moscow, London, etc) despite being always in either Toronto or Montreal.

See: http://www.abproject.org/docs/Kitten Killer 2010 - 2011.pdf

So it's hard to say. Also, the first basis for us linking LRM to the Hollywood body parts murder was actually the HollywoodLoveLetters Youtube channel which had "liked" news stories about the murders. And now we know that "HollywoodLoveLetters" was a troll account created by that animal rights group LCA.

But I guess if his "pimp" said he was in LA, then I guess he was in LA at the time. Anyone else have any info on this "Hollywood Pimp" named "Alex" that is in the Sun story?

Hi all. New here though have been reading WS over the past week as this hideous case unfolds. Re the links to the Hollywood murder, which LE is looking into in relation to LRM, I'm wondering if it's been absolutely confirmed by LE that the "HollywoodLoveLetters" account was really a troll acct? It's clear Magnotta has visited the sign and likes it. Not sure if this has already been posted but just found this site which contains a number of old 'tribute' video montages of LRM, posted by a "lovemeloveme45", showing LRM in a number of pictures with the Hollywood sign in the background. There is also a photo of him standing next to a fake body in a coffin, which, in the context of his blog about his fantasies for dead men, is at least creepy: http://www.metacafe.com/channels/lovemeloveme45/

this thread is locked for cleanup. :tos:

Just getting back to it now (about 10:00 EDT). Hope it's cleaned up a bit. We were getting way off the topic of sleuthing this crime, what with dissecting the Canadian health care system, legal representation for the suspect, the Patriot Act and all kinds of stuff, all of it bloating the thread and making it hard to catch up. Not to be disrespectful, I even feel condolence messages for the victim should have a separate thread.

I will delete as soon as I figure out how to do so. I apologize and was under the impression that these images were confirmed to indeed be from his account.

I wasn't hacking into anyone's computer and I have no idea if anyone else had done so. The link was originally posted on a thread on this site and no one disputed its validity or legality so that is why I assumed it was fine and fair game.

Well established media outlets?

Correct me if I'm wrong but one was The Sun in the UK and the other Naked News or something like that?

The Sun in the UK is tabloid. Never heard of the Naked News ever until this case.

I've heard of the NN repeatedly, and from my understanding, it is not MSM, but interviews and features with them are pretty sought after by those working in the adult films and the fetish industry. MOO.

You may want to ask a moderator

I just went through nearly all the back issues of FAB magazine as I had a dead that he was in the magazine as a 'Fab Boy in 2005, after trapesing through many issues, I found it.....it's issue number 260 and here is a link to the page on 'Jimmy' then aged 22,

"Jimmy
This 22-year-old soccer fan was born in Russia and currently lives in Toronto. He hopes to train to become a police officer. “I don’t want to do traffic tickets. I am thinking vice or homicide.” Jimmy likes men and women in uniforms. He says his best attribute is “my package. I got a mean d***. Me and my buddies made a few videos.” Jimmy has also been a model for Sears, sporting “pyjamas, jeans, sweaters.” When it comes to pizza, he prefers “Greek style with feta cheese and black juicy olives.” His email is stunningstud21@hotmail.com."

http://archive.fabmagazine.com/fabboy/archive/260/index.html

Hope this helps?

Thanks SurfingSunFlower. Thanks for going through all the back issues of FAB, that was a great idea. I remember his Fab Magazine Jimmy profile, it was featured in Justin Ling's initial article.

In trying to connect the dots, one Fab profile doesn't land a person a 10 minute feature on Naked News. From its launch up until 2008-ish, the Naked News was actually a pretty big deal and was featured on everything from the Daily Show to cable news networks. The site was a lot more popular back then compared to today. It would have been a big deal for a supposed *advertiser censored* star or escort to be featured-- the site would have been flooded with requests from the most well known adult performers or the award winning escorts; why in one of the few features with an adult performer or escort that the Naked News has done would they pick Magnotta? His adult film career got no mentions on news blogs/review blogs that focus on adult films and his escort career is full of negative reviews.

lol ok that's why I probably never heard of them. Thanks

Nice to have you here

Personally, I would leave it and ask one of the staff
If its been posted and not removed, it may be ok. If its not ok, they will remove it for you
Thank you for your input

The first link mentions Casinos ( Niagara Falls )

That somehow explains why the movie poster for Casino shows up in some of the 'photobuckets' related to LM ( ? )
Dated around the same time as he posted in democraticunderground ( ? )

As the movie poster for Casablanca pictures a roulette table , i wonder if it refers to this episode of his life as well.

Right from the start i had the feeling ' 1 lunatic 1 icepick ' was made for the eyes of 1 particular person.
And the meaning of the movie poster for Casablanca could only be understood by that one person.

( ok, it's a wild guess :)

I have snipped the link due to our policy on pictures.

Where I come across an article referring to the 3 supposedly 'new' videos, I'm leaving a comment under the article where possible, explaining that these are almost certainly old videos, and saying why.

Just done so on the Daily Mail and Le Figaro, both awaiting moderation.

I'm pretty surprised at Le Figaro, as it's a pretty serious publication in France.

Thanks Dushi. I removed it as, upon further inspection, it looked like it was a gallery from someone who was tracking him for the kitten killing. I didn't initially consider this because there were quite a few random photos (i.e. a photo of some US government building's stairs) and also what looked like some random personal, childhood photos that I assumed that only LM would have had access to.

Its stunning that those chasing him for the kitten killing had done such comprehensive work and had the goods on him that could have put him away for a little bit (in an ideal, truly just world) or at least ruffled his feathers--had the police taken them seriously.

Has it been established when the recent videos (such as the one where he says 'hi' to all his 'fans') were uploaded? Although it's thought that they were filmed years ago, perhaps he himself decided they were perfect to upload again at this time to fit the situation.

They were uploaded a few days ago, can't remember the exact date. The youtube channel has been closed. Yes it's possible that they were posted by him, but equally that it was some troll as there have been so many.

I'd be surprised if it was him, as all accounts have said he seemed extremely agitated and nervous while on the run.

He had a few that were done in New York by a professional photographer(based in Miami) but other than that I don't know.

I also noticed that in some of these 'professional' modelling shots he is wearing the same clothes in other casual pictures. There is one where he is on a bridge, and he is wearing the same jeans and belt at the cover guy interview, and I cant remember off the top of my head what the others are.

I think a lot were done on his own, or even just had the same face shopped onto a bunch of them.

I was out of town for a few days and couldn't begin to catch up on this thread. To make matters worse so many of the posts are NOT discussing/speculating on the facts of the case they are making judgement calls (or worse) about other posters as well as those that choose to view material on perfectly legal websites.

This "dark web" stuff is silly. There have always been websites and chat channels devoted to all of these topics, they aren't "hidden" and they aren't illegal (in most countries).

I would guess he met the victim online. Wonder if either had gaydar profiles? That seems to be the most popular hook up site and I would expect that Magnotta would have a profile on there. I don't plan to look for their profiles, if anyone does be warned while the site is safe and legit it does NOT not cater to prudish individuals.

Those sites and channels exist for those topics, but there is something called the deep web that actually exists. I believe TOR is the client you use. I believe the reason the sites are .onion instead of .com is because it refers to the many layers of an onion. The reason it exists is so the user can have more privacy and no chance of being tracked while searching what they are looking for.

Wow. I read earlier about him messing with Wiki but this is the first I've heard of this!

The wiki thing isn't a big deal. I misread it at first, I thought that it said someone created the section about the murder before it occurred, but it is just making an argument to rename the wiki page from "Luka Magnotta" to "Murder of Jun Lin" What you quoted just stated that the Luka Magnotta wiki page was created before the murder occurred, and that is obvious because Luka Magnotta existed and had previous information posted about him, even before the murder happened and before they identified the victim..

WHAT??? I may be overreacting, and I actually now acknowledge that I'm slightly overreacting since it doesn't really affect anything since Luka has already been caught, but still, how can they confirm them as RECENT? They were POSTED recently, but not FILMED recently.. It took such a little amount of time to find out if they were real or not, the fact that a police commander for a large city is confirming something erroneously is disturbing. If their internet forensics team just read one of the 6 threads WS has posted, they would realize the videos were posted by a troll, and several years old.

I may not be overreacting because if they don't know how to do a small amount of research, how can we expect them to correctly identify if LM and JL met online? How would they be able to investigate the cat killings? That entire crime and all the evidence involved is strictly on the internet only.
Well, I just sent an email via the Montreal police website with the information so hopefully they'll stop focusing on it when given the information.
