Did he actually confess to bludgeoning Natalee? I see no tweets from the hearing saying that, only press releases from earlier in the day and him confessing to lying about her death during the hearing.

I believe they are quoting Beth Holloway who said that in court. She knows the details of his confession so I think it's legit.

BH says he confessed to killing her on the beach and putting her in the water, confirmed by polygraph. She won't give details of the "brutal confession" but that will be released when the proffer is made public.

She says she is satisfied that the case is solved. But jmo I would like more than a polygraph as corroboration.
