sorry if this has been posted before but do we know what shoes Karlie was wearing? These are nearby in the Feb 2010 shot but not able to see them in Sept 2014. I would hazard a guess all this stuff would of been found by now by police/ ses crews they would of scoured it pretty well.

Thanks for finding that pic crabstick. I'd overlayed the image of the bins to compare the black recyclable's tub to the black object in the main image. They don't look to be the same. The black object was also thought to be a truck tyre. Irrespective it was a great find by Kustom.

Kustom, was it also you who found the Google street view images of the various cairns (piles of rocks) dating back to 2007? I'm still looking for them.
 
Who leaves a pair of shoes? Were they taking a whizzer? Or were the shoes that putrid did they leave them?

Puggle, after all of the inconsistencies I've read in MSM I'm personally going with...

Karlie and Khandalyce left Alice Springs in early 2008. Karlie was seen and photographed in Adelaide in November of 2008 and later in November she was pulled up by police near Coober Pedy. There is an unconfirmed report that Karlie was seen in Canberra in December 2008. Was Khandalyce with her and who actually saw Karlie in Canberra and passed that information on? I believe that Karlie was murdered not long after she was seen in Canberra. I don't think she was alive in 2009. The missing person's report and the subsequent withdrawal of that report screams to me of sloppy work in not following up on Karlie's welfare. It was simply taken for granted that Karlie was alive because her mother said she had been told that she was. I don't believe it was Karlie who contacted her mother in 2009.

ETA: I'm happy to be proven wrong in any of my assumptions as long as the murderer(s) are caught.

I've probably spent way too time going suitcase...tyre...suitcase...tyre...suitcase...
Either way, I'm rededicating my google street cruising to hunting maroon VL wagons.

Yep, they're the one's. Thank you. Now that I look at the 2007 and 2010 images, they look to be more like bricks as opposed to rocks like the 2014 image. They're not the same at all.

I think the brick like stones are axed by a stonemason, dismantled from a building? An old cottage. Maybe even an old train station

One thing that always bugs me in cases.... When Police or media speculate about serial killers - everyone seems to get caught up trying to link mass multiple murders..

A serial murderer is by definition someone that has killed THREE people or more...

AND the word "Several"...which we have heard a lot in this case.....the word alone conjures up the thought of 7 people or so....when the actual definition of the word "several" actually means more than two people...but less than many!!! grrrr

What we know is that "several" homes have been raided in ACT "Australian Capital Territory" - Canberra and South Australia...

Karlie's remains were found in Belanglo State Forest NSW..

EVERY suitcase lying around the same piece of road where a suitcase containing a little girls remains, was found is important. Especially if the girl has a murdered mother as well.
 
Or a 4WD that drove around the back from the cairns and lobbed the case from the tray? Did they have motorbikes on the back?

From memory....No other suitcase/suitcases were found in the immediate area of Wynarka or even close to where this suitcase was found.....

I think another suitcase that was found was mentioned....but that was on another Hwy altogether..The Mallee Hwy...

And the facebook.... Truckie page inncorrectly used the wrong image for the suitcase...

I may be 100% wrong.....ready for bed here...

The Wynarka Enduro 2014 (racing event) was in August 2014. The Google streetview is from September 2014. If there is a connection to the racing scene (Karlie had been a part of in the past). It is a possiblility that a suitcase was left there by someone connected to that racing event. There a loads of visitors I guess? A suitcase left in the open in August 2014, is more likely to have faded to grey due to the weather, than a suitcase that had been there for 2 months or so.
 
Where is that racetrack in Wynarka planned? (can't find a link sorry).
Was Khandalyce's suitcase found at a spot where construction would take place eventually regarding the future race track?

I'm thinking of Vincent and Marcus Stanford. One of them killed Stephanie Scott and the other disposed of her belongings for his brother. But they're both being charged - one with murder, one as being an accessory after the fact. Trying to help a murderer is a crime in itself ... but I don't know if it would lead to police saying you are 'responsible'?

Yes, makes sense. We also heard the phrase 'on the periphery of this crime' earlier on in the investigation - long before we knew what we know now. That could be an allusion to an accessory.
 
What I've been wondering about is where the 'Pearce' surname of Karlie originates from.
