Could it be possible that the clothing item with this lable is not a child's clothing item, but of an adult female. <modsnip>

The police doesn't mention specifically that all the cothing items are of a child, or do they?

THESE five children’s clothing tags are the latest clues police hope can help identify the little girl whose skeletal remains were dumped in a suitcase in the Murray Mallee.

It's interesting that the Miss X brand is an Australian company specialising in the manufacture and wholesale of ladies garments.

BBM. No mention on that site about the manufacture of children's clothing. Can anyone make out what the Miss X garment could be? Is it underwear? It looks to be a heavily woven fabric.

Eeek! Just found a Miss X store online selling erotic clothing and sex toys. And no, I'm not posting a link! LOL.

hahah yep i landed on that one first too!

Also from that link regarding the black tutu:

Edit to add: I only had 4 Cotton On Kids stores show up in my results, sorry about that, there are in fact 5 stores, not sure where the other one is.

BBM

Well it is nice to know the police is trying to track down the tutu purchases. If they do find several bought around the same time, there is a lead to follow for I am sure the tutu is what she was wearing when she died.

The police may be interested in that link as well. I just wish all of the items found with Wynarka Angel were displayed for all to see, as opposed to the images of them being published in dribs and drabs. I'm sure they would tell a story if viewed altogether, more so then seeing a few items at a time. It was reported that there were over 50 items of clothing in that suitcase. This sounds to me like whoever murdered this little one has grabbed everything she possessed and stuffed it into the suitcase. Oddly enough, there are no toys, no favourite doll, no much loved teddy bear. Just clothing.

I totally agree. First I thought that the suitcase could have been left there with randomly collected clothes in a found suitcase to leave as many false leads as possible. But I'm no longer convinced of that. A totally different scenario seems to unfold itself now.

Especially if there would be adult female clothes in the suitcase as well.

What if the item with that label is not from a kids clothing item. <modsnip> That would be a whole different scenario if there's items from that company with the remains as well.

did you notice the hint in the message police were trying to get out there...
“This child has a mother and father. It is possible there are people who know what happened and who may be in an abusive and controlling environment with somebody they are scared of,’’ he said.

“They may be aware of what happened and played no role in it but are too terrified to come forward. We would encourage anyone in that situation to reach out to us either through crimestoppers or through a third person.’’

He stressed that “ultimately’’ police will find the parents of the child and they will have some difficult questions to answer if they have “done nothing wrong and not contacted us.’’

that to me sounds like they have some pretty solid info and they are trying to relay a message to someone

I hear you, Makara. I too wish all the clothing was displayed. So Miss X seems to be ladies adult risque items..not likig where this seems to be heading.

As for toys, could there be another suitcase somewhere with the toys etc in it that was discovered long ago and completely discounted because there was no body or other evidence of foul play? It would be in the killer's advantage to not link clothing and toys together. Besides the case is too small for 50 clothing items, body and other belongings.

Thanks sleuthin-suz. I was just about to post that quote from the article at the link below.

That Sally label is really frustrating me I have seen it before...... it may actually be a kids shoe label that label looks small and narrow compared to the fingers next to it, it may be one of those little tags they put on shoes on the side.

Can anyone tell me if (illegal/forced) prostitution by Eastern European women is something that is common in Australia? What if one of these woman arrived by plane in Adelaide with a small child. Bought a suitcase full of cheap kids clothes for her daughter in Adelaide and then continued her journey (maybe thinking she was heading for a totally different job). That could account for a woman and a child that nobody reported missing and who lived off the grid?

Sorry if someone has already said this but I am sure the H.F Australia is menswear and i found this

https://www.gmdu.net/corp-66420.html

company in Victoria

I really have to head to bed if you guys feel this may be of interest please someone pass onto crimestoppers....

please guys look past how it has grouped the labels as "childrens tags" in the article that could be a complete misprint, generalization, or just mistake look past that and just look for the label.... trust me on that

there were so many little mistakes printed before re: she was found next to suitcase, in the suitcase etc etc and so many more i cant think of right now because its past 2am!

Goodnight Sleuthers I cant wait to log on and see what you guys have found in the morning!

I think you are right. Even if it definately is womans wear. I could very well imagine that the police would keep that from the public for a reason.
