Truth-morph ... what do you mean with and "inside job??

It's not a random abduction/murder or a suicide. It's very close to home. You could watch one episode of Law & Order or CSI and become an expert in this case. After a couple of days, people went 'der, arrest him already'! Reminds me so much of the Mornington murder. The only difference here is, the will-be-accused is reasonably intelligent. The Mornington husband was as dumb as dog doo.

Thanks, yes, i agree.

i read one of the articles written and posted earlier where it said allison met her husband when they were both working at a travel centre and he offered to fix her computer, so am guessing hes computer savvy, but you really cant hide anything, it can all be retrieved. wonder if it was allisons computer, he went to get photos off it for her funeral, or his?

I have created a media/timeline reference thread for this case. You can find it right here: [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?p=7871813#post7871813"]AU-Allison Baden-Clay,43,Brisbane QLD, 19April2012 MEDIA/TIMELINE LINKS,NO DISCUSSION - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community[/ame]

This thread is a reference thread, only, meaning there is to be no discussion. Just post the link with a one or two line quote telling of importance from the link. That's it. You may also post any timelines or maps you create in this thread for future reference.

If you have any questions, pm me or any mod and we will give you a hand.

Thanks!

Salem

so am guessing hes computer savvy

Maybe but, not that savvy. A reimage would take some time and he didn't have time. Even if he did, his area of expertise wasn't IT. I'd bet the house that this is one area where he'll come down with the proverbial thud. :woohoo:

this is one area where he'll come down with the proverbial thud.(quote)

i totally agree, that computer is a goldmine of valuable info for police

As an aussie....Im trying to find a good horse to bet on in the kentucky derby run tomorrow....(its a bit of a Melb Cup)....Ive no idea on the horses over here so Im looking for a name that shows mystical insight to represent this case....?? yeah long shot I know....

However, a lot of the horses seem to have names that represent this case somewhat IMO....I just thought it was weird...Im looking for a name to represent ABC & Girls, not GBC

Here is a link to the field if you are interested - http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...012-post-time-tv-schedule-post-positions-info

I tried to stay away but I just couldn't. They need to solve this case, my housework is piling up and all my thoughts are consumed with this murder mystery.
Ok so here are my theories. They are probably wrong but don't judge or ridicule as I stated, MY theories.
Allison finished at the hairdressers earlier than expected or she was told something there about local gossip regarding GBC. 1st possibility is that she may have come home and discovered someone at the home, perhaps a male "friend" I have only thrown that part in as when the mistress was first revealed to be female so many people posted that they were surprised the mistress was female. (Can't link but if necessary will go searching) this male "friend" may have put up the money for his lawyer. She may have parked her car at the showgrounds as there was another vehicle in the driveway or she was trying to enter the house quietly? Any locals know about the driveway? Did they park behind each other and have to move cars out to get one out???
Perhaps Allison acted normally for the sake of the children and waited to put them to bed before confronting GBC, her anger would have been mounting if she heard/seen something at the hairdressers. A very heated argument began, Allison either walked outside to make a phone call (where he took it off her and threw it) or to continue the arguement outside so as to not wake the girls.(this is why the dog barked and an arguement was heard by neighbours) she then said she has had enough told him she wanted a divorce, he panicked as he didn't want to lose his "angel" he struck out at her and killed her accidently. Stressed and tired he bundled her into the car close to midnight and drove around until he found a place he thought was safe to dump a body. The person who posted on facebook is a witness I believe to seeing one of the cars she stated that she thought it was "odd" now what is odd. One possibilty is that he was perhaps wearing sunglasses and a hat to disguise himself, if someone saw someone driving at that time of night with a hat and sunglasses it would seem "odd" The only way they will catch him is to totally disparage his "alibi" of being asleep, they need witnesses to actually testify that they saw GBC after 10pm or they need his confession.
What do you think???

you would have to think given the profile of this case that the hair salon would have been on the phone to police that day or the very next after her diappearance surely. this is not the sort of rumour that floats about without being substantiated pretty quickly

How do we know they weren't. The public does not need to know she had a hair appointment.

What do you think???

I wonder if this 'male friend' is a bit of a hot shot in Brisbane and ABC found out about him and was threatening to expose their scandal?

I sort of think that he may have drugged her...watched while she fell asleep, then placed her in the car while she stayed asleep after a lethal dose of some horse tranquilliser or some other thing....got rid of the horse tranqualizer down at the showgrounds....horrible thought...sorry

Maybe someone saw her car driving around at night - which to a local who knew her they would find it strange as she would be usually dutifully home with the girls....not driving around eratically....I dont think there is too much opened around there late at night...you would need to go into Indro way or slip into Jindalee 7/11...

It is in US date format because this is a US site - you'll notice the times are wrong too.

With regards to media links, Maverick.au is the one person who speaks sense and real facts here - I think the whole reason Maverick.au doesn't do media links is that you can't believe everything the media say - they like to sensationalise everything and are all trying to outdo the other. If you want the real facts, read the QPS website or media releases on FB - everything else is here-say. The police are going to limit what they tell the public as they are trying to solve the case.

While some people may not like mavericks "tone" he has proven to state intelligent comments. He's (I am sure a He) just straight to the point. My thought is that he is in law enforcement. Retired perhaps??? Look at me now sleuthing the sleuths : )
The bold comment is a key to this. What did he tell the children?????

oh and another thing that I noticed....Isnt it hot in Brissy at the moment....especially Kenmore/west suburbs....I just havnt seen a clip yet with GBC in any other shirt but long sleeves? Could he be covering up more scratches/cuts on the arms?

yes i agree, it is big. the barrister, the immediate police action, the police are being very careful. it seems from the very start to be being treated as more important and urgent than a normal missing persons report. maybe because of the political connections.

I'm pretty sure anyone can "like" or "friend" Campbell Newman" perhaps as the new premier he was just getting in a media op???
Not ruling anything out but just saying it could all be very innocent.

Hey Brizzy chick in USA this is a Brizzy chick in Canada, seems our Aussies are all sleeping : )

I don't think he drugged her,IMO. I truly believe it was an arguement that went too far.
I think you could be onto something with the male perhaps being high profile. This is how such an expensive lawyer was retained, the male has money.
Business partner???
I think if I found out my husband was having an affair with a man a huge fight would no doubt ensue. This is another reason he could be acting strangely, all his secrets will be revealed publicly.
Perhaps the kids said something along the lines of mum and dad had a fight and she's not coming back???

Anyway just more speculating on my part.

It's getting cooler in QLD atm. Long shirts are common for business people especially.

A lot of commenting on the runners ABC was wearing. They live on property, I don't think it would be uncommon to wear runners . Do they pets or animals? I ask as she may have had to go in the backyard to feed them?

Well were I used to work men had to wear long shirts and ties....but when he was walking down George St, I would have thought he could have rolled up the sleeves, and/or loosened that top button....with that beard and messed up hair, doubt he is doing too much business.

Ok I promise this is my last post for a while.LOL

BEHIND the manicured lawns of Brisbane's western suburbs, the locals can't stop talking.

Gerard Baden-Clay hasn't said much since his wife vanished on Thursday, April 19.

Sprung by a TV crew about a week after she disappeared, before her body was found, he was a bundle of hand-wringing nerves, tears not quite visible.
"Sprung by a TV crew" is strange wording???

A woman who worked alongside the Baden-Clays at the agency has also been interviewed extensively, although why this particular colleague has been questioned is unclear.

Mr Baden-Clay answered a Channel Nine reporter almost bashfully.

Again interesting headline????
Allison's killer sweats.

Also, I am hoping someone can link a copy of this, wish I could get a copy of the courier mail here in Canada.

Read Trent Dalton's story on The Life of Allison Baden-Clay and Madonna King on the questions that must be answered, only in Saturday's print and iPad editions of The Courier-Mail

Ok....so they were sleeping in seperate beds...living under the same roof for the sake of the kids and economical reasons...

Therefore I really dont think that GBC had much to do with her comings and goings at all. (Ive lived like that so I know how the deal works) He propably had his TV in one area of the house, and she had hers....

They had different friends and in a photo on fb that belongs to GBC sister, many of Gbc, but none of ABC....so I really dont think they moved in the same circles together much anymore ; at all.

Their appearance at family get togethers, functions etc was probably only brief and staged....but why murder the women? Wot was there to gain in doing such a horrible act?
And, I cant stop thinking about this: did GBC ask ABC to drive him to her final resting place..(maybe he pretended he had a present for the girls hiddin down there and lets quickly sneak out whilst/once they are asleep)..or was she close to death before he drove her there?
