^^ He goes to jail, he does not pass 'go' and he does not collect $200 :)

If they have DNA and he says he was somewhere else then he can possibly be additionally charged with giving false statements to police, and anyone who supports his alibi may also face charges, depending on how far they take it.

ok...but why are people talking about his alibi then?

i thought that wouldnt even be mentioned then, if the dna at the crime scene makes him guilty why are the police still investigating the 'alibi' story?

i dont see why they would investigate it, if they know he is lying

They may be investigating it because they can use it against him at trial to show he didn't hand himself in with a willing spirit to assist them, but continued to try and worm his way out of it...it can be used against him later when it turns out to be a lie.

To get an exact match on DNA takes a few days, usually a week. So they don't know 100% yet either...although I am sure they do, in their heart of hearts.

The police are compelled to follow a number of leads they may think aren't valid in any investigation also.

I know it is flimsy but while the DNA proves he was there it doesn't prove he committed the murders.
The investigators have to build a strong case.
This is because the accused will have a criminal defence lawyer working for him.

Brilliant...thanks for posting those...I'm going to go back and have another look at her bebo and add it to my album...

So that to me has him stalking her for over a year! She and her friends must have thought he was a right creep.

If you look on his wall also there are a lot of messages from her to him, but he seems to be more interested in her and what she is up to etc.... when you go to his second page of posts it came up blank but when you hit previous again it continues onto older posts

That damn bebo gives me a headache. I think it may be worse than myspace.

not sure whats on it only just found it

Also noticed on his Bebo that one of his favourite movies is Saw........ i'm sure lot's of people 'like' these movies, i've seen the first one but certainly wouldn't put a movie like that down as a favourite

Police never mentioned that they found the murder weapon, for all we know the 'knife' could be a bowie knife, a little picket knife, a kitchen knife, a freaking Katana (nah, probably not if it was stabbings) but still, it is very possible that the family had nothing to defend themselves with against a knife (of unreleased size), and it's also possible that he landed the first blow as they were asleep.

A news article posted that "Kapunda residents have started locking their doors again". Maybe the Rowe family trusted the area enough to leave their door unlocked?

I believe it was a murder of obsession and the realisation that he could not have what he desired. The parents were killed likely because they 'had to be' for him to complete his planned murder of Chantelle successfully.

I still wonder how he managed to sustain a bloody injury? (The one that left DNA evidence). Someone else had a knife? Or was it possibly his own knife and he cut himself by accident. He definitely looks like a weak kinda guy, but if he was in a rage due to his obsession, it might have given him extra strength.

Interests: basketball, football, cricket and rugby
Dreams: to be a machinic

I think the DNA they found at the scene was blood too...and would assume since they fought back that he would have received cuts during the struggle. Pretty damn hard to explain that away...he may as well just plead guilty and get this over with if that is the case once the DNA comes back. No doubt he will be strongly advised to do so.

Does anyone know in a South Australian court if a plea of guilty would include an explaination? Or can he plead guilty via his lawyer and say nothing.

Hello guys, well so much for the supression order, they are as useless in this day and age, but anyway, I forgot what a great resource this site was, you guys are doing an excellent job on this. What a little gutless paperweight of a man is this one. I don't even think the full weight of his crimes have sunk in yet. Glad to be part of your community, cheers
