By what the lady said he had cuts on his hands also but no-one thought anything of it due to the nature of the job. What was of concern was that he allegedly had cuts on his arms and was hiding them by wearing a jumper in warm weather after the incident. The thing that bothers me is that it was later said that both the son and daughter of the lady, noticed deep cuts on his arms that likely required stitches.

Which brings a question... how did they see them if he was keeping them covered?

In regards to why he had cuts on his arms, perhaps there was a struggle and they both had hold of the knife and it happened whilst both were struggling for control of the knife?

The only rumours surrounding the gasp where what people invented to explain it, the gasp occurred.

I thought the "gasping" was in relation to the state of the bodies.
I am sure someone who said they were at the trial posted that on the closed threads.

Yes they were under a lot of pressure, everyone here was so scared and it has changed us all for ever in the way we see things. I really hope they have the right guy because if they haven't they and all the people assuming will have destroyed the kids life. I can't be sure because I am not a forensic officer but I don't know if there was time for the full DNA results to have been back in to compare everything properly.

They are hardly going to risk having the wrong guy in prison for this and a homicidal maniac still running the streets, you know? I am sure the police made absolute sure, and arrested him as soon as they were.

I'm guessing we are even being closely monitored at this point. And I don't mean by the Moderators.

Police said from very early in the case that the murderer may have wounds.
The accussed was interviewed by the police, DNA trsted, and had his house and car searched.

Is it conceivable that no police officer checked his arms? Especially is he was suspiciously wearing long sleeves in hot weather.

Incidentally, he was only one of many friends who were interviewed, DNA tested and searched.

We have temporarily removed the first two threads of this case for review. You may continue here.

We ask that you refrain from using the alleged suspects name and please do not post any of his pictures.

It has come to our attention that the judge has suppressed parts of the evidence, including the alleged suspect's name. Although we are not in Australia and not obligated to their jursidiction, we are a crime forum and our mission is to help bring justice to victims. Therefore, we feel we should go by the judge's orders.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Sadly it has happened MANY times before. People make mistakes so I will just sit on the fence and wait. I wish I could be naive and just go with it believing that they have it right, but way to many things just don't add up...

Agreed! so much just does not make sense

I am unable to edit post 103, so could a mod do it?

I don't name names but the link I posted does.

I would be worried if the police were looking here as it would make me think they are as clueless as the rest of us.

Hi, yeah 110% true, once the dna and other vital evidence is secured it is all over red rover, the only think left to argue is a defence if any ie motivation, pre meditation etc state of mind. All for the sentencing phase. There is NO question whatsoever about who did this.Only why:furious:

State of the bodies makes sense, I don't really think rape does. People are pretty used to hearing about rape as part and parcel of a violent crime. It's not surprising and gasping is an extreme reaction.

As for he was a nice guy so probably innocent. As said before you never can tell who will do this stuff, we don't know what goes on behind closed doors and in people minds. He is definitely the most likely suspect at the moment.
