What a mind boggling case.

My biological mother and father were drug addicts and alcoholics, my grandparents taking custody of me when I was two is the best thing that could have happened. Who knows where I'd be today if they had not.

IMO, Tammy needs to get herself and those innocent kids far away from GC and his toxic life.

Could this video show Chloe's abduction?

Vital clue emerges in search for Chloe's kidnappers
Security camera pictures show two adults walking with a child after midnight on the night the three-year-old was abducted from her Childers home

Her family is hopeful the two men can be identified using the new clue after Chloe was held hostage for 48 hours over her father's drug debt.

Specialist police will use games and toys to help Chloe open up about the night she was taken.

If that is Chloe in the cctv footage, She is walking along ahead of whom ever is with her. If you are kidnapping someone would you not put yourself in a position of control and not in a position where the child could possibly run off? I have this horrid feeling that GC may have left his child as a deposit / security or was somehow implicated in the situation. TO has woken up found her daughter not home and freaked rang the police and its snowballed from there, that or he has removed the child to be nasty and horrible to TO just because he can and it all went pear shaped

I think that is why it is assumed it was a friend or someone close, even a family member. The child in the video seemed to know where she was heading. Also assume that is why only 20 DNA samples have been taken. Close family member even.........

IF someone was to slide in or out of the window then possibly there was skin samples left. Grazes/blood to elbows, stomach or knees.
I also have a feeling that car wasn't registered because of the reports the family often walked to the shops, if that was the case there would be layers of dust.

'Full blown' drug related crime gangs usually do drive by shootings, I don't recall too many abductions of children to prove a point like this.
Thank goodness no guns were used into this house full of children.
I bet the police must be so frustrated and feeling like mushrooms.
We all know that mushrooms are kept in the dark and fed on......
Grrrrr.

Unless they have a bench front seat they wouldnt all fit in the car :moo:

I'm grouchy about this today ! I don't understand the delay. If dad was threatened then he does know WHO BY. Period! If he's refusing to talk now , then I am full of TOS to say. Right? They've already taken your baby and you're very lucky she's alive and home with you . What more do you need to compel you to talk? I can understand not wanting to ' rat ' out someone because you're afraid of what they might do. They stole your child. What now ? Time to spill the beans and failure to do so is "" Schmae + TOS = ban " :)

I'm thinking the same way you are. I've sat on my hands for hours today ....staying away from this thread actually.
Dad's precious innocent little girl was TAKEN and kept away from home for too long..IMO..returned in a strange way to a strange place ie show ground. IMO

I want to scream....TELL LE ALL INFO. NOW.

I've been reading along but this is my first post in this thread.

I don't find the returning of Chloe to the show grounds strange. I actually think it was quite clever if not brazen. The show grounds was where the police command had been set up. ( this was reported right at the beginning of the drama ) I think whoever returned her there knew she would be found quickly.

sorry if this has been posted , I havent seen the brushed hair and well cared for bit before.

It’s understood Chloe appeared well cared for, with brushed hair and a clean toy puppy when her abductor deposited her at the showgrounds just after midnight Friday.

“The fact that someone had cared for her in that fashion is a saving grace,” Det Insp McNab said.

Quotes from Detective Inspector Bruce McNabb

However, Inspector McNab said Chloe had made no mention of "daddy's friends" when interviewed by specialist police at the weekend.

But at no time has anyone told us that she's uttered the words 'daddy's friends'.

Inspector McNab said reports Mr Campbell was associated with a drug-dealing family in Childers, were so far unfounded.

These cowards, and you can't call them anything but cowards, have then left a three-year-old girl in the dark of the showgrounds in the hope that she finds her way home, or someone finds her - a more cowardly act, you couldn't possibly imagine.

snipped for space....

It is a sad social commentary that I find myself feeling 'grateful' that these low- lifes left her alone in the middle of the night, to find her way. I am 'grateful 'they did not torture and kill her, like so many monsters have done. Sad, but I feel that way.

Although the people in the video are difficult to see, it looks like the child knows where it's going or is heading to someone just out of camera range.

If the people captured in the cctv footage are innocent locals on an early morning walk, you'd think that they would have come forward by now to clear up the mystery. Similarly, if they are travellers who stopped at Pioneer Park for a toilet break, once again, and given the media coverage of this case, you'd think that they would have come forward.

In either case, whether they be locals or travellers, it doesn't explain why the two men are seen walking back the way they came without the child.

I also have a strong feeling that there is a woman female involved here.

I thought that too. They wanted her to be found quickly. Why else would she dropped very near where the police command was and not somewhere else in town.

I hope there was some hair transferred from the brush to Chloe. MOO

Remember also isn't Chloe's house accross the road from the show grounds ? So if she wasn't found quickly at the show grounds perhaps they thought she would wander to her house.
Does the show ground have any security lighting at night ? Maybe they thought she would be a scared but would be able to find her way home in the half light...
Still doesn't excuse them leaving her there alone in the deep of night though

wherever they went it didnt take long.
Was she taken to a house close by or a waiting car? :banghead:

Some 20 minutes later the men returned north in the direction they had come but this time without the child.

Mr Fennell said the child seemed to know the men as he or she appeared to be leading the way.

"She or he was very small. The child looked like it knew where it was going and the two men followed."

Nice to see you here wwgy. From what I can gather police had a well lit command post set up at the showgrounds and were actually there when Chloe was dropped off. Very brazen but at the same time whoever dropped her off must have had some compassion for her.
