re: Missing Clothing Theme and Searching for Trophies

hey I vaguely recall reading about WAPOL searching LW and SR properties for specific clothing.?
MAybe searching for clothing belonging to victims.
Does anyone have the link to a newspaper article that mentions these searches for clothing items?

Around the same time maybe that WAPOL asked LW's relative if LW likes to wear ladies clothing!

The following show the clothing of the CSK victims and the jewellery or replicas of them.

Met can you please add your photos to that thread so they are easy to find if we are interested in them later including the ones with JC's car. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like somebody's reversed into the partially open garage door? [emoji12][emoji12][emoji12]

Done it in the brand new Cherokee a week after picking it up too. Anyone know a cheap place for buying antennae?

Thanks DRT.

I'm trying to decide whether victim's clothing is a 'trophy' for the alleged CSK.

My feelings on the car in the driveway are that in 2007 when the google streetview picture was taken is 16 years after 1991 and that not many people would keep a car that long.

Given the 4 wheel drives in the driveway over the years I doubt very much the old car (whatever it is) in the driveway would be one he would keep.

In saying this it doesn't mean that I am discounting KT being a victim of the CSK. I just don't think she was using that car.

What a surprise... A heap more crime scene photos & cops not wearing gloves!! Seems they didnt learn very much between 1988 when the unpreserved Kimono shot appeared & 1996/1997. Lawyers are going to have a field day!! IMO.

I thought exactly the same! GLOVES boys gloves!

It was very common for girls not attending Uni to go onto TAFE to complete childcare courses back then. Pretty sure there was a 1 year and a 3 year option offered at several campuses in the area.

It's reported that she went BACK TO THE CAR (because it stopped behind her and someone (presumably the driver, but maybe a passenger) called out - not that she walked around the back of the car.

The thing that has always mystified me is that I've read a few times that her Dad thinks she knew the person because she was unlikely to get in a car with someone she didn't know. Yet- she was seen hitchhiking not long before. You don't generally hitchhike hoping someone you know comes along. So maybe that's just a parent's naive hopes - that your child wouldn't get in a car with a stranger. But it seems that was what she was trying to do.

The fact that Kerry was already hitchhiking, combined with the car stopping BEHIND her and the driver calling out, makes it unlikely in my mind that the driver knew & recognized her (unless they'd met or bumped into each other earlier in the night, and the driver recognised her from her clothes). It would be quite a coincidence to recognize someone you knew from behind at 4am in the morning if you're in a car and they're on foot. IMO.

The audio of KT's father John Turner being interview on 6PR radio 25 years later, June 28th 2016 is very good for maybe clearing up what she was wasn't doing. Not hitchhiking by the sound of it, she didn't have time. She was just crossing the street when the car pulled up behind her. Probably one person. A person called out to her and she want and spoke to the person and got in the car. Car blue similar to a Datson, but the spoked wheel were what the two witnesses couldn't stop looking at.

What happened to Kerry Turner? Kerry Turner's father has renewed calls for information about her murder, which remains unsolved 25 years on. Audio: 6PR June 28[SUP]th[/SUP] 2016

John Turner (KT’s Dad): She got a taxi and ah, she didn’t have enough money on her to pay to come up to home, meaning Mum and Dad’s home. And so, the taxi driver dropped her in Vic Park. It was lit up, it was an all night café, Affaire I think it was called. It’s long since closed.

Now the interesting thing is she was walking across the street, and a car sped up and stopped, umm behind her, as she was on her way across the street, Shepparton Road. And the, the person in the car called out and Kerry turned around and walked back to the car, spoke to the person and then got in the car. That was the last time she was seen alive that we know about.
Presenter: Has there been any other leads, you know, other than the last sighting of her. And I think the car was described as a Datson 260 C, dark blue in colour…

JT: that’s right or something similar

Presenter…something similar

JT: Yea, with spoked wheels, yea.

Presenter: OK that’s a fairly distinctive car, I suppose …

JT: There were two witnesses in the café, and they, and that’s what they were looking at. You know, the wheels in particular…anyway carry on.

Presenter: And so, the police has obviously chased down any vehicles that are similar or close to it and nothing has ever come of that lead?

JT: No. And I kind of wonder if it was an Eastern States car, you never know do ya?
Presenter: No. No.

JT And, so yes we remain hopeful, and ah, we know that there are people that know something.

It's as if KT knew the person or people in the car. Also it's as if they may have known her - speeding up when they saw her and stopping right behind her. When they called out to her I wonder if they knew her name.

I wonder if KT's murder had anything to do with her brother Jamie's murder six years before. MOO

JR worked in Childcare. Did JR study Early Childhood Learning at university? Or maybe a TAFE course?
Isn't there a TAFE in the Perth CBD?
Maybe JR crossed paths with ECE or BRE in the city.
There's a TAFE in Northbridge.

Perhaps the blue car in BREs driveway was his first car and was retained - utilised by CGE.

1985 - December BRE turned 17 - possibly got his driver’s license.

1986 – BRE started work at Telecom (Telstra). Possibly job position didn’t entitle a work vehicle. Possibly rode push bike to Gosnells Train Station - rode train to Welshpool Train Station (nearest to Ewing St)

1986 – January - Possibly his first vehicle was purchased for travelling back and forth to work at Telecom Bentley. The TE Gemini would have been 3-years-old then.

Later date - Promoted to a technician’s role - commercial vehicle provided.

These are only my thoughts and opinions.

Ahh bless the Ford Prefect 100 E side valve, 1958. Yeh the angle box had a sloping back window.

Hey BRE. How is your line theory going? Is any of the Claremont girls on your line? Speak up?

Thanks for posting the transcript IC - interesting that she wasn't actually hitchhiking at that point in time, but had been trying to earlier on...

"...She caught a taxi from Murray Street to go home about 4:00am the following morning. The driver dropped Kerry off on the Causeway when he learned she did not have money for the fare.

Witnesses saw Ms Turner sitting on the curb on the Causeway and trying to hitch a ride...."

So that adds to the case that the car that stopped knew her. What do you think is the likelihood of someone recognizing her at 4am while crossing the street? To my mind, more likely if you'd seen her/ met her earlier in the night and recognised her from what she was wearing
