Just a thought - Do you think it is possible he came in to contact with the girls maybe through his work?

He could have been working at or near somewhere they frequented during the days leading up to their disappearance and struck up casual conversation with them. Something along the lines of asking them what they were going to be getting up to on the weekend and where they were going etc

He may have then gone to Claremont in the hopes of catching up with them again and then seeing an opportunity approached them in the car.

They may have looked in the car and casually recognised him from their earlier encounter and felt safe enough to get in with him - after all they had previously spoken to him during daylight hours and he seemed not to be a threat.

Being around their ages and if he had already had a conversation or two with them in the days prior to their disappearance may have helped him gain their confidence and made them feel like he was safe to go with.

I wonder if all the parents had phoneline work done maybe installing additional line prior to girls going missing?
He would have the knowledge to say "remember me the telstra guy i'll give you a lift I know where you live"

Another person is currently serving time for the Victoria Clark murder. That person was also convicted of a murder in another state. I haven't seen anything suggesting that the conviction is in doubt. Perhaps the unfortunate woman was the victim of two separate attacks by two separate perpetrators.
If anyone can clarify this I would be most grateful.

There is no link to Victoria Clark. Police at the time were investigating sex attacks in the area and thought the Huntingdale attack might be linked to the murder of Victoria Clark as the MO was similar.

As a side note, David Troy Masters bares a freakish resemblance to Mark Dixie.

Definitely agree with blitz attack, as there have been no reports of a man offering lifts.

Someone I know was offered a lift by a man in a white car while she was walking home from Claremont around the time of the CSK.

So I guess the next step would be to try investigate the person that made the post? But if it's anonymous, there's not much to go by

Is it possible for the police to have tracked down the computer isp address from that post? If so, then I would think that they already have found them. I hope so, anyway.

Could there be any connection with the Catholic Church? As JR, CG and SS all went to a Catholic schools (Iona). Could he have met them through the Church? or Church related activities? I know his wife came from a very dedicated Catholic family.

So take this with a grain of salt but fresh off the grapevine, apparently the victim of the 1988 break in was re-interviewed recently and provided police with the details of their man. I'm wondering if this means he was a neighbour or at least lived very close.

found them especially for you m.m.

Thank you.
I have seen posts about the jacket. I just couldnt find any pics about it yesterday. Was only trying to help another poster . Was more about missing items. These look like the clothes they were wearing when they disappeared.
Someone on another site was asking about singular items like they'd come across them at someones house and found it odd
Anyway, I'll refrain from trying to help others questions.
I haven't followed on here from the beginning as I was on here following various other cases at the time.
Never thought I'd see the day this one was solved tbh but I'm not totally clueless about it all

Example: Perpetrator (b.e.) gets charged and so now theres new posters joining in here who havent done research and are just filling up pages with rhetorical questions and comments .
It dilutes the quality of sleuthing and deters the good posters because topics are being flushed through too quickly . Theres been great topics raised , only to have another poster submit a weak comment that subsequently buries those good ideas & contributions.
So instead of asking things on the main thread find out first then make an educated contribution to the thread to keep the quality of sleuthing good please [emoji258]

I would like to say thank you to all the regular sleuths. I have been looking at these threads for many years for information and clues and find that most the information is available and mostly reliable. Some of us haven't posted or joined up even over the years and I can see how the regulars might get annoyed when people simply are not reading the 10000+ posts already on here before firing off their own ideas or theories.

Thank you once again for all your efforts everyone and keep up the good work. I really believe that the CSK did more than what we know over the years and my personal agenda is I just want to help find SS for her family.

hateyrgutsloveyrface Friends and family are likely to say their loved one would never hop into a strangers car because in doing so attributes some kind of blame in peoples minds.

However, there were elements of risk the women already displayed such as not leaving with friends, walking alone in the streets late at night, standing on a road where anyone could have pulled up. So is it such a far reach that perhaps they got into a car with someone they didn't know? Or perhaps there was a thread of familiarity such as they had met them previously at another venue.

What ever happened that night I am not suggesting they were at fault.

The reasoning that these women were "well heeled" or intelligent, has nothing to do with it and opposed to what? Women that are not well heeled and therefore not intelligent and are risk takers?
I can 100% attest to the fact that I know girls who are 'smart' successful lawyers who have had their drinks spiked at what is now The Claremont. Academic intelligence is very different to emotional intelligence, the strict western suburbs education system is quite a bubble, nefarious things don't enter a lot of these girls minds. Many are oblivious to what most men are thinking if they knew they would act very differently. The real world can hit a lot of these girls very hard.

Snip from newspaper article originally provided by #papertrail regarding the rowe park /KK abduction & violent assault

.

We know Karra girl was attacked in rowe park.
We now know she was likely put into the back of a telstra van.
There is telstra infrastructure in rowe park that i can see on street view on the corner of reserve/stevens st (potentially more) that would make it not seem weird for a telstra van to be parked up.
By all reports the houses near by didn't see/hear anything.
He might of seen her from a distance and started to go after her?
Assuming she didn't see a telstra van while walking otherwise that would of been key evidence long ago.
This attack seems more one of opportunity rather than planned thought out.

But what if CG fought back, he clocked her on the head causing death and necrophilia just not his thing. I don't believe that happened but that's one scenario and there are other scenarios that might cause him to skip sex with one of his victims.
I don't think there is much chance that CG did not fight back, she knew of the abductions and a body had been found, she knew he was going to almost certainly kill her and she was feisty by many reports.

I'm starting to think all but SS was opportunistic.

The other bodies were found by people passing by, ie not hidden very well, shallow grave etc. If someone was planning to do this, they would be better prepared.

Wasn't she found with a cracked skull?

Few scratch marks you would think at a minimum assuming she had opportunity to fight.
I doubt telstra would still have these records but it wouldn't surprise me if BE had called in sick the day after the attacks especially post CG if she did indeed fight back.

Sorry 2 years ago *
Really thinking thats how CSK dna match came about. Random familial testing

About the missing items though..I seen an article a while back saying black jacket and a ring were missing off the Claremont victims. That person hopefully just read it somewhere too

I believe Sarah had a distinctive sunflower key chain, there were multiple items shown by the police, I actually need to unzip my CSK analysis Archives and dig out the photos. To be honest I never thought they would get this guy. Caporn ****ed this case up horribly.

sexual assault is about power.
sexual sadist's derive sexual pleasure from inflicting pain.
they are two separate things
Spot on, its control, if it was purely sex he would just go root prostitutes.
