That snagged me a time or two as well... I thought about it and assumed they meant since it would have been so dark out at night; and/or perhaps she was drunk-ish from the neighbourly festivities...?

Yep. Been wondering that myself.

Could be on medication (as per the letter to editor).

I have to say I am surprised at how many people were jumping on the husband yesterday.

It's a long way from Surrey Hills to Aireys Inlet past literally hundreds of cctv cameras so an intelligent person couldn't expect to get between the two undetected.

Welcome Alime.
If there was a drive at night, another car could have been used.
However, could 'actions' have happened Sunday morning, then report the missing person.

Yes, that could be it...maybe that was because they initially thought she jogged at night?

Although not looking like that now.

Thanks @tmar I'm not new as such. Just couldn't remember my last username.

I still don't find that a likely scenario, pretty likely a neighbour would notice cars coming and going at night too, its school holidays, near every house would be occupied. And Sunday morning would have been busy too.

There's only one road in and out of Airey's. Even if another car was used it, only a matter of time before it would be pieced together.

'When her husband David returned to the family’s holiday home on Sunday morning she could not be found.'

Should I take this to mean that just the husband returned to Airey's on the Sunday morning, leaving the children behind with Nana or someone?. it seems to be saying just him ... alone, going back to the Inlet on Sunday.

Interesting that the dog was hanging around a house that the dog knew as opposed to its own house.

Hanging around a house she was last at maybe......?

Article also states that there have been no sightings of her since Saturday night.

'The dog was missing but we believe it was just roaming the street and was located near a house that the dog knew,” Inspector Seel said'

Yesterday, when I pondered the idea of her possible suicide, I didn't feel she would have taken diggitydog along with her. She'd know he'd be left wandering alone. Unless it was spur-of-the-moment jump-off-a-cliff type thing.
Perhaps she actually did leave a suicide missive but they didn't want to announce it; hence the speedy all-out search.

I'd like to know what time she usually went for her Sunday run.

Body never found, or washed up on shore -- endless speculation.
Body found in brush... let's hope for that, as I don't see this as being a voluntary missing, even though she likes time alone.
Finding her alive, yes, we can still hope for a miracle.

Also, I do wonder who all was at the neighbour's gathering that evening, as they would know Elisa would be alone that night.

Meanwhile, still not seeing husband as being completely cleared yet.

But I have also heard them say when "they" returned, on at least one video (sorry don't know which one) and maybe even read it.
Have been wondering this since Monday... was it "he" or "they" ?
Not that the outcome will be any different. Just wondering now.

I was thinking along a scenario as if she went running very very early, (someone) could have gotten her in his (I suppose I should also say "or her") car, while it was still fairly deserted. Not necessarily having gone to the house.

And contrary to how it may seem, I am hoping with all my heart it was NOT fhe husband. I just want to rule him out first.

I would like, and in a perfect world, I would be able to , hear the recording of him reporting her missing..

I don't think she would have taken her phone either...

I don't get a suicide vibe at all...the personal struggles probably relate to her mothers death (as per Age articles) or just general issues around being married and a mother of 3 young kids.

Police previously believed Ms Curry, a keen marathon runner, set off for a jog with the family dog, a black Labrador, on Saturday night while her husband and three children were in Melbourne for the AFL Grand Final.

But Inspector Peter Seel said on Wednesday it was "doubtful" Ms Curry went for a run so late at night given she was last seen in bed by a neighbour.

Could she have been quite intoxicated hence the talk of disorientation?

This may also account for a neighbour seeing her in bed at 10pm. Maybe put to bed.
