I think the phone is the killers mistake. .. ... taking her phone... where there is a whole raft of suicidal women who leave their phones behind, or are found with the phone on the seat of the car, or have it clutched in their hand. .
whereas.. a whole lot of murdered women, disappear, with their phones. ..
Karen Ristevski... Borce said she ran away, with an easily obtained false passport, ran to China... ... cant find the phone..
Baden Clay. he maintained she was a suicide, and walked 15 klms in the dark to hurl herself off a bridge... .....cant find Alisons phone.
Tanja Ebert. apparently left her kids, her passport, her husband, but took her phone.. husband says , she ran away....that she wanted to separate from him and that she was a risktaker... that she got out of the car in the middle of the desert.. .. .
Elisa Curry...... left her kids, her home, her husband, never left a clue, husband says, 4 days into huge search operation, she might be an alcoholic and depressed...... turned her phone off and took it with her, says husband....
just a very small sample.
and I think whoever kill s these women has this thought process in common with each other, they all see these women as their phones being a part of them. An intrinsic and unbreakable bonding , in their eyes, between the woman they kill and that woman's phone. Therefore, the phone goes too. It's as if they see the phone as the woman still speaking.. against them , criticizing, accusing, blaming, (which could all be justified,) but the phone is significant .. kill the phone, too.
