Peta Harris, who usually walks her dog in the area twice a day, said she no longer felt safe wandering down the path alone. She said there had been a noticeable drop in the amount of people walking and riding in the once buzzing area.........................................

Olivera Milosevska was one of them. She said she used to pass Mrs Ristevski on her walks and agreed the area had quietened since the 47-year-old went missing.

In the weeks before Ms Ristevski’s disappearance, Ms Milosevska claims to have been approached by a man on two occasions, the first time he made a lewd comment and the second he invited her to walk with him.
But like Ms Harris, she admitted being too scared to walk as far as she once did..........................................

Fellow walker Gabriel Merchan said while he hadn’t noticed too much of a change in the amount of people around, it was “very strange and quite scary … for the family and whole neighbourhood, it’s not good”.

I wonder if Ms Milosevska reported it to the police before Karen disappeared?[/QUOTE]

I don't disbelieve her, but I would bet that she did not report it, maybe because she wasn't so scared or maybe that she is trying to add to the 'Borce is innocent' thingo.

According to the Herald Sun, they had it first from OM, and police had to pursue her for the information.

She probably just thought it was of little significance at the time. That is, until Karen disappeared. I'm not sure we have enough evidence to think she was part of a 'conspiracy' though. I suspect it was a separate matter, unrelated to Karen's disappearance other than, perhaps, conveniently employed as part of a 'narrative'.

Police have followed up MO's comments to MSM with no further information other than a general (and quite unremarkable) public safety warning.

I took that to mean police told residents to just take the usual sensible precautions, nothing further was needed.

. . . Meanwhile . . . is nobody going to comment on nest activity? I'm also in the dark.

Yes, me too. Just trying to stress (clumsily today) that Karen was said to have gone missing at a specific time of day, ie; approximately 10 o'clock in the morning — both by BR and SR (and by her employees who said she didn't turn up at work). If she was killed in the morning, the time Karen took her regular walks is significant. So, the MSM reports don't add much, if any, weight to an argument that Karen met with any harm from a stranger (who reportedly 'accosted' MO on two prior occasions).

JLZ yes, I'm interested in the nest activity ... am interested in having a look to see if scenic view photo was taken from a correctional facility or wherever, I get so curious ... will have a look soon, cooking rissoles at this point though [emoji848]

Lol there's no correctional facility or remand centre in Melbourne city with that view...

Our remand centre is in North Melbourne. ....

The dude is probably just having a nice night out in the city ....

This is why I love this place....

Thank you soso... and Oz Jen...

May be 100% unrelated ..... but its the no stone left unturned process....

Could the Ants photo have been taken from a lawyers office or detectives office ?

Please could somebody describe a certain view?

Could be..... discussing his case against ACA

Or meeting with a writer or publisher..

The pic was at night..... he could just be out for the night in the city....nothing sinister or related to the case????

Please could somebody describe a certain view?

Just a pic of city buildings...taken from another building at an elevated height. ......so pic taken from a window or balcony...

Taken from a balcony - you can see the balcony rail in the pic - about 6/7/8 floors up, maybe even a little higher.. Looking down on a city street, just as the lights are coming on. Posted yesterday. Parking in the middle of the street with two lanes of traffic on either side. Not a heck of a lot of traffic.

.

No trams? Does it look like Melbourne CBD?

It might be an old or second-hand image. Having a tease.

Yes.... I don't have the downloads ... to search

But looks like maybe collins street.... so probably a hotel.

Using the building on the right with the bluish glass.... top end of collins...working down..

Appears to be a cream/whitish building... .. probably could find it..

No trams. Cars are parked in a line down the middle of the road. Traffic going one way (two lanes) on one side of them, traffic going the other way (two lanes) on the other side of them. A city bus in the pic, below the balcony. Tall shiny buildings across the road from where the pic is taken.

Looks to me that it could be a city apartment. There are similar balconies next to this one, and below it.

Ohhh if hubby was awake...he'd know in a second. .. he used to do city deliveries. ...

Not waking him up though ..

Swanston maybe...

Russell Street has no trams and parking in the middle of the road.

Wish he had a steady hand when taking the pics [emoji848]
