Please have her safely tucked away in a barn somewhere ready for the police to find her , stressed, but well x

There was a clip on the news tonight about this with a plea from Leisl's mother and footage of police divers searching a swampy pond. Trying to find a link to it.

Hi All,

The telegraph has a number of inconsistencies: they didn't check with us or ask any of us about the facts or who ran what.

As for the NBN interview, the less I say about what I think, the better.

Thankyou for all your kind words, thoughts, messages of support and what not. As you can imagine, the last couple of days have been exceedingly exhausting and tough and very, very emotional. I will still come back to read, but won't post for a while.

Take care of yourselves and your loved ones,
J x

My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family tonight eccsci xx

Keeping you and your family in my thoughts..Hoping for positive news

sending love to you and your family, Eccsi.. this is not the news I was hoping for xx

This is so sad. I'm so so sorry for her sister who has been incredible on this forum. I've traveled to this area and very shocked such harm could come to such a sweet woman :(

Hi All,

I hope that the items that the police have seized from the property during their search brings them closer to knowing where
Leisl has been or where she might be! I hope the 42 year old man was able to she'd some light on her movements, state of mind anything really!!

Emotional stress really knocks you about and it so tiring. I really so hope that you hold all your close friends and much loved relatives close to your heart.
Wishing Leisl's family some peace of mind very soon.

Best Regards
I.K

Hi All,

Firstly, another ad was taken out in this month's Horse Deals magazine, Pg21.

Also, there are a few things in the pipeline from our end, but we can't really say anything at present.

Hope you are all looking after yourselves :)

J x

Trying to find Page 21 on Horse Deals ... hard to follow ... unless you have to pay for the magazine?

Yeah, unfortunately you need to get a copy of the hard print. It doesn't seem to show up on the web page :(

OK ... Perhaps you can help by linking it to your Face Book page ??? ... which is hard to follow to.

Thanks ... Just trying to help out.

Hi, apologies if these questions have already been discussed :-

I've been wondering about the text message sent to Liesl's dad by accident - the one about keeping somebody's secret quiet.

Wondering how you can 'accidentally' send a text message. If she was using a newly bought phone that would be pretty easy to do if not familiar with the interface/buttons etc.

With the mobiles I've used (standard type phones, not smartphones or touchscreens) when you add a contact to a text message, another screen is displayed showing the attached contact name before you hit 'send'.

The way I see it, it could be possible to send to the wrong number by accident if the user is:-

- unfamiliar with the phone
- distracted at the time, for example while driving or multi tasking or due to emotional state
- visually impaired, not wearing glasses
- touching touchscreen interface screen by accident

If Liesl's Dad is listed under 'Dad' in her contacts, then she could have accidently selected his contact but intended a nearby contact as the recipient, eg. Dave, Dale, Dan etc.

No doubt the police would have looked into all her associates to try to determine the intended recipient of that message- who I'm assuming is the man they recently questioned.

There's also the disturbing possibility that the messages could have been sent by someone else using the phone. I am thinking in particular about the Sarah Cafferkey case where it was recently revealed that the person responsible for her disappearance sent messages from her phone in the following days as some kind of smokescreen, in an effort to lead the investigation elsewhere.

These questions have been bothering me a bit, once again I apologise if they've been fully explored. I hope Liesl is found safe and well or is able to in some way let her loved ones know that she is okay.

SURELY in our day and age that these 'text' messages be traced???

I am so worried about Leisl

and the person ... so called linked to this ...

At least if the Police can eliminate that person (they may have) ...

Then what ..... I don't know ... those 'Dad" messages???? (Agree previous poster)

Also I am very close to the geological area and the EX accused!

Hi Club Decree, I'd guess that if Liesl accidently sent that first message to her dad, she may have realised her mistake sometime after and sent the same message again to the intended recipient which would have lead the police in that direction (assuming they were actually able to retrieve that data from the phone provider).

I'm not sure if text messages can be traced to the location where sent from in the way calls can, or a phone that is switched on.

I don't quite understand what you mean by ''EX accused''? I realise rumours aren't meant to be discussed, but just wondering if you have insider knowledge being so close geographically?
