I think Ilona was another victim in his game of cat and mouse.
He preys on the vulnerable and she was no exception.

Can someone refresh my memory please.
Is 'Wouters' the actual birth surname of Marion's mysterious man or just another alias.
I have found a bed and breakfast in Ewhurst Green run by a Wouter's family not far at all from Tunbridge Wells and wondered if he may have stayed there and again used someone surname identity to make up an alias name. There is also a Baron with links to Groombridge, Tunbridge Wells in Kent but just to reiterate that none of the names are direct links. Ric Blum may have thought he could use those surnames just like he probably did with the identity of Remakel.

Referring to one of the alias names mentioned on here for Mr Blum, I wonder if the name Westbury should be looked at in more detail. There is the town of Westbury in Wiltshire UK.
I found a name very similar to the alias name Blum uses which is his Richard Lloyd Westbury name. The person I found is is from the town of Westbury. I have passed my find onto the lady vanishes team.
*Correction, there is another town called Westbury in Wiltshire which is the place where the mentioned business is located*

Wouters was the surname of his stepfather after his own father died when he was young.

I am surprised that this list hasn't been mentioned in the new discussions thus far as could be a wealth of information if between us we check all those alias names of Mr Blum. Find unclaimed money - Moneysmart.gov.au

With respect, I could not believe that any of RB's aliases would have any unclaimed money. However, please explain why you think that could be so.

If someone is changing their name multiple times it may prove harder to access monies. I am sure I read somewhere that Ric Blum has around 20 alias names.
At the moment we do not know if Marion had alias names as well other than the Florabella one so we may need to look at that avenue if something is revealed. That is just a theory of mine she may have also changed her name again several times.

I found this in one of the UK papers. When was it confirmed that Marion did stay in some Oast house accommodation as that is fresh news.
Missing Marion update - Rye News
The poster was placed in Rye as it was believed Marion had visited Rye at some point, and it has now been discovered that she did stay here “in Oast house accommodation”

I really hope that the Dutch dentist and "Maz" were just random tourists and/or made up by Marion on the postcards. If there was another woman involved in the con, it gives me a bit of a pit in my stomach to think that maybe they were having a bit of sick fun with Marion by introducing her as "Maz" because she'd soon be assuming Marion's identity.
I still don't know if I think another woman was involved because I do believe it was Marion who returned to Aus, but there is always that niggling element of the suitcases full of clothes.

@vivienbee I'm with you. So Dutch dentist couldn't have been Blum, imo, because Marion already knew him. But Blum seemed to have a connection to England for his cons. A friend, accomplice, relative -- someone to keep him yoyo-ing back there with victims? (Was Maz written or spoken? Ive forgotten. Might it have been "Mrs." So dentist and [his] Mrs.)

Thank You for posting @Belleandsebastian I've been trying to find a link and
didn't think to look on Facebook since I don't have an account.
It’s worth looking for a link in case bits of it can be shown, but yeah, looks like mostly closed :(
