It has been mentioned before that there is possibly something that Marion owned that can connect back to him which is why he has admitted to storing her belongings.

Where do you all think this is going?? What will be the next step in finding Marion?? I would love to hear everyones opinions on this.

One of the steps is SL will be hoping that Marion is declared deceased ( as sad as that is) because that way a WHOLE lot of doors will open for her and more information will be at hand for her to explore.
And another step will hopefully be a trial then all the players called up! The deH's, the Rettes, the Bank Manager, the corrupt cop, the old accountant that has gone to ground, the Remakels, all the cast front and centre with AH
That would be a great outcome!

Great question! Like us all no doubt- I like to think the next step is that someone comes forward with new information (people are still only just finding out about Marion, aren’t they? And last I checked there wasn’t wide coverage in The Netherlands yet? I’m not up to speed though) that leads to finding Marion and those involved in her disappearance.

JMO there is an important Dutch link to this case that needs exposing but without widespread publicity in The Netherlands I’m not sure we are going to find it.

yikes, well I stand thoroughly corrected. Sorry about that, I think early on I knew that academies started in the 2000s but got confused … so many systems and so much late night interest reading!

I do agree it was all a story made up by you know who and never seriously in play.

I also think that a teacher like Marion - one for whom it was a calling and a vocation - would have been very charmed by the idea of running her own little school. Even burnt out and tired. There are some people whose whole identity is based around their place in the community as an educator of young children, and she seemed very much one of those. Amidst a lifetime of personal chaos, in her classroom she would have been supremely in control. She had lost that control at TSS but as much as she’d love the life of luxury idea I strongly believe she would have always thought she’d go back into a school eventually. Running a school as a passion project rather than fitting into someone else’s restrictive system in a community where the barriers between your personal and professional Life are combusting ie TSS would have been the fresh start of all time.

(I Come from an Entire family of teachers who are married to the job! I know her type exactly!)

The first letter home to Sally shows that she had every intention of becoming a teacher (or school owner) in the UK but only after she returned from Europe. She was just unwinding and relaxing on holiday. It would seem sadly she was never to return to the UK. The dreams she was fed were to be replaced by nightmares.

Whilst reading the definition of a narcissistic sociopath I couldn't help but think it reminded me of someone.

A narcissistic sociopath derives satisfaction from manipulating, deceiving and abusing others in order to get what they want. These traits seem to fit with RB and the way he treats his victims. I think DDeH and their two children, whilst not excusing their knowledge of what he has done over the years, are in a way victims as well. Whilst showing Evelyn a picture of his two children with DDeH and seeming to be a proud father, was he thinking of them as only "trophies" hoping they would become superstar swimmers and inflate his ego even more?

Yes agree that narcissistic sociopath describes AKA’s behaviour precisely. Sadly these kinds of people make awful parents. He may have looked after them financially with his ill gotten gains, and he may have changed his name to Blum to avoid them becoming associated with his impending doom, but I bet they are terrified as publicity builds in this case. There will be no escape for them. IMO the only way they are going to be able to remove the filthy stain he has put on the family is to change their identities and start a new life just like he said Marion was going to do.

i would dare to say reputations are already pretty tattered, I also dare to say if people have proof of any crime they are involved in then they should put it to the authorities . If it is about lifestyle or friends and associated parties then I am not interested .

I think it would be more than prudent to investigate ALL the deaths surrounding RB
There are sooo many for coincidence to be thrown out the window. I believe it may have become a habit

I would like to see a copy of his son’s email threatening one of his alleged victims with legal action. He might come to regret that, if he hasn’t already.

Its a shame we cant post up what is known about them.

Even if they are victims in a way of RB they should definitely be held accountable. DDeH for receiving centrelink payments under false pretence and their children for benefiting from funds given to them by RB that had come from what he stole from his victims. DDeH definitely knows a lot more than what she admitted at the inquest and perhaps the children have been taught from very young to use people for their own benefit. I am hoping that RB is charged after the findings of the inquest have been released and they are questioned at length. Perhaps then we might a little closer to finding Marion.
