Not much was said really. No mention of his wife.
Brian Cutler is convinced his niece wouldnt have taken her own life. If she was the victim of foul play he believes it would be because she stopped to help someone on Stirling highway.
Her uncle said "I was very close to her. The whole family was. She spoke on the phone to her grandmother last week and I saw her a couple of weeks ago. Next week she was going up to Kalgoorlie to visit her father.
She wasnt a drinker. The most you could say it's that she was a very mild social drinker. Everybody that I've spoken to has said that she was in no way intoxicated when she left the hotel. She wasnt one of those people who would drink and drive. The whole situation is baffling".

Her uncle saying she wasnt a drinker contradicts what her father has said on 2 occasions.

Daily news 27Jun88. "Father Fears Worst" She liked parties and enjoyed a drink.

Sunday Times 09Jul00. "Vanished woman's uni link to suspect". She knew the Claremont area well, she was known to have drinks there.

How many champagne flutes in the car? 7

Gerard Ross is abducted from 100 Kent street Rockingham.

Gerard is not sexually assaulted.

Like Dorothy violently bashed, Gerard was very violently killed.

Gerard was left in pine plantation, off a limestone track, lightly covered by branches.

Discovered by Miller, a horse trainer.

Not buried like many other victims.

Gerard was left in a Baldivis pine plantation, near Baldivis road and Stakehill road, Karnup.

Gerard was also found not far from a track.

Was the pine plantation where drivers would practice racing the track?

Thats better. Journo typo

Police hunted for the vehicle, described by witnesses as a dark blue car, similar to a Datsun 260C.

'She accepted a lift and never seen again': Unsolved murder of teen Kerry Turner

Aka Nissan Cedric. Japanese import? Non Aust VIN.

Nissan Cedric - Wikipedia

I think you could drop a straight 6 cylinder in the 260C. Some vehicles were very high power to weight ratio.

A predecessor to the Nissan Skyline.

Maybe someone had a relationship to the penis injecting Moorehouse clan who worked ast the vehicle scrapyard?
MOO

Hate to break this to you, but the 260C was a straight six. 2.6 litre
Only the 120Y, 180B and 200B were fours. The number represents the cubic decimetres the engine displaces.
Whilst it's true that the engine bay size of Datsuns from the 180B upward were all the same, and it was popular to swap in a larger six, usually the 2.8 litres from the 280Z, in later years as Japanese imports of second hand motors became fairly normal, it wasn't when the cars first came out, and so you had a few rev heads dropping in a Holden 186 into 180Bs for instance, you wouldn't find much benefit from swapping a 260C motor for a lower horsepower Holden 186, especially since the mounts required modifications as the different manufacturers had different mounting points and the Japanese carburetors were dual throat, and the Holden strombergs were single throat. If you're implying that the accused in the CSK case, because of his alleged interest in speedway, might've chose a car with an intent to hot it up, then I doubt that a 260C would require much more than adding some mags. IMO. But then again.... pictures of his house and cars after the arrest didn't show any evidence of the accused being interest in baubles.

Yep, and later they would rip those engines out and put a bigger straight 6 in them making them faster, sometimes with a turbo, making them faster than police cars

Kerry Turner was like Cutler (June 22 1988?) who went Saturday June 29 1991.

This car was produced 1976 onwards?

A 15 year old car with a bigger new 6 engine. Lower the car. High performance.

Not sure when Nissan black motor arrived?

V8s not allowed turbo. Straight 6, 3.0 litre turbo 260C fastest off the mark on the road 1991

Either way, cheap interchangeable parts.

High performance vehicle.

The straight cool of a Datsun 260c

Kerry Turner had turned 18 the day before?
(Friday June 28 1991)???

Her brother injected at 18 with drugs 5 years earlier? (Manslaughter)

Was it a hotshot that they couldnt get a murder charge?

The Datsun 260C, Kerry Turner got into was reported both blue and another witness said beige.

Chameleon paint was multiple colours depending the angle you viewed it in the light.

At that time of the night, it could have been 3 colours.

In certain light refraction, the car may have appeared beige and another angle blue.

It would be good to know when the record of the Leopold Judgement was removed from Supreme Court filing, but alas it wasn't mentioned in the article.

If anyone has the time, can they go through the following resources to see who was employed at the Supreme Court between 1972 and 1988, in particular look at low level clerical officers who would most likely be doing the filing. It would be handy to have family trees of criminals or suspects, and a list of their associates etc, but unfortunately I don't, so just look for anything obvious. Like Dave Everett etc.

Public Servants
Although the names of public servants can be located in the Government Gazette of Western Australia, Blue Books and the Public Service Lists, there are some records to be found in the State Records Office which will provide the names of public servants (see also the records of individual Agencies for the personnel records of that Agency).

· CONS 392/115-121: Governor's Establishment. Applications for employment 1877-1882
Letters of applications for employment in the public service. Often accompanied by letter from referee.

· CONS 3909/1: Public Service Commission. Public Service List 1988
Computer printout.

Has any websleuths had a chance to look around in the public servant lists as yet?

Gerrard Ross appears to be a savage child murder that may NOT have had a sexual motive according to some rumours so there is also a possibility some kind of sick sadist abducted him during an opportunistic moment. As horrowing as it is to think there may have been a child killer on loose

A barely concealed body by a track. Sound familiar?

When three officers arrived, he climbed into the back of the patrol car and directed them to the site where he had stumbled across a little boy’s barely concealed body, off to the side of the limestone track.

Police initially suspected sexual interference but later said there was no evidence of it.

Family members are off-limits for sleuthing.

Members may NOT sleuth JC's uncle. You may discuss what is contained in the MSM articles related what the uncle has said or what has been said about him, but only in relation to articles about JC's disappearance. You may NOT go beyond those articles and sleuth out other aspects of his life and post about it here. This is a basic principle in ALL threads on Websleuths ... this thread/case is no exception.

Big horizontal scratch around bumper height on drivers side.

Back panel not flattened.

If someone slammed into your car on drivers side and pushed you off the road, this would be indicitive of being run off road.

Trying to remember if Stirling highway two lanes only in 1988?

What about the other car?
