I'm absolutely exhausted and finding it hard to concentrate at the moment. I'm lucky to have an online copy of Knight's Forensic Pathology, the bible for all forensic pathologists. I'm reading about stab wounds at the moment in homicides but it also includes accidentally falling onto a knife. The problem is it's not written for the benefit of people like me. It refers to what prosecutors want to know and includes every kind of injury you can imagine including the most gross coloured photos of dead bodies exhibiting the wounds. It's been years since I last looked at it and I'll probably have nightmares tonight.

Don't count on an update any time soon.

With respect to all, I'm over the continued Viagra conversation, (imho) in the scheme of things it's somewhat disrespectful to focus on this element, especially in the context of the despicable murder & demolition of two innocent campers - Carol Clay & Russell Hill by the now convicted murderer.
In the words of Robyn Hill, “I hope he has a lovely time in jail.” & I'd add - a long, long time.

I've been camping many times, when I think about the sheer terror & horror of what Carol Clay & Russell Hill endured I'm shaken to the core.

My thoughts remain with the Clay & Hill families. I wish them strength, no matter what actions the now convicted murderer takes in the future.

It related to GL's comment on the secret recording and a statement made by Mrs Hill.
It might pay to go back and read my earlier post.
Yes GL is hopefully going to jail for a very long time. However, to only be found guilty of 1 murder and not 2, is seen by many to be a HUGE injustice to Carole, Russell, and their loved ones.
Also, take a moment to think of the Jury members who are now learning about facts that were suppressed from them in court. They had to reach their decision without hearing all of the evidence. I am sure they are feeling short-changed!

I didn't single out *your comment* above any of the others, nor did I suggest the topic could not be discussed - I simply stated - I was over it & I was asking if we could show some respect to the victims families being mindful of previous comments made by a family member on the *specific* subject.

I have followed this case from the start and read everything I could reasonably find on it.
finally figured out how to register to post, for some reason it wouldn’t work for me. I remember reading a certain early contributor - It is very eerie re reading that individuals contributions. I would put money down. Well spotted.

As a registered firearm owner, and longtime deer hunter, and clay shooter, much of the defence argument did not make sense.
If Russell had only limited firearm knowledge, that modern thing with a magazine would likely be a spaceship late and in the dark. It wasn’t a break open single shot, or a conventional side by side or under and over. Or a drilling - old timer slug compatible. If he were confiscating it he certainly isn’t going to be loading it in the dark. The ricochet argument is also bull-dust. If it were fired and hit the mirror, whether from behind or from in front, it’s a going straight through. If it hit the arms holding the mirror it might deviate ever so slightly.

I think we got a mix of the truth and lies to mitigate culpability. Most likely RH killed in a confrontation then CC. I may think of a few other things I can’t recall right now.

I've been trying to establish whether or not Niels Becker was ever found, ie whether his body was found, or whether he turned up alive and well.
I haven't been able to find any definite information, although it appears that at one stage some people believed he was found safe and well. This has not been confirmed.

Sometime between 2016 and 2019 was when the vehicle changed from white to dark blue.

Pilot arrested over missing campers had his 4WD resprayed TWICE

The man arrested over the disappearance of two elderly campers had resprayed his 4WD at least twice over the past seven years.
