I was just rewatching the Under Investigation special with Liz Hayes and I took some screen shots of the part where PI Ken Gamble stands in front of a map. It must be the actual path Theo took. I remember in the Lighthouse podcast Michael Dorkhom mentions how Theo went up into the lantana and he mentions how there are many spots located on his google location services up in the lantana. You can totally see all the blue dots too!

It also shows in the wide shot the deviation that was taken around Tommy’s camp!

I’d love to see a full copy of that map with the blue dots! I wonder if there are any other “anomalies” in the map with the blue dots? It has been said on both the lighthouse podcast and the Under Investigation special that google location services are accurate to within 3 meters, so I take he was within 3 meters of the blue dots?

Also it has times on the map too, such as, It was said in the podcast he was in the lantana for around 5 mins, it has that time on the map if you look. It also has the location and time of when his location services are turned off.

I assume all of this will be bought up in the inquest.

Wow! Great idea. That’s an incredibly accurate looking map there.
I’m sure they said they got most of his activity, I wonder what areas they didn’t get accurately? I would have assumed down the corner might have dropped out but I guess it was elsewhere on the journey.
Looking forward to tuning into the inquest tomorrow at 10.
 
I find it strange that they can get the complete log of his journey from google after he leaves cheeky monkeys, yet they can’t seem to do that in the previous days he was in Byron, or even when he was at the Gold Coast. Why is that?

cos the two pics they showed that theo took from what they believe was near fisherman’s lookout. Wouldn’t that show up on his google location log? So they should be able to get a reasonable idea surely?
 
I believe the clues might be in his activities in the previous days in Gold Coast and around Byron and who he was with, did his phone location ping activity show any car travel site seeing trips, if so what phone numbers at same locations or travelled same route. Maybe not backpackers at all, a local person, possibly someone he met and had met on Gold coast, who was familiar with bush walking in byron national parks, Snapchat shows current physical locations of all your contacts, he might have found a snapchat "friend" on snapchat after leaving cheeky monkies? Is it correct he searched for "hotels" when he was at cosy corner?

The blue dots look like he disappeared into the water.

I have always suspected that he may have drowned but I don't think we will ever know for sure?

BBM. Google locations are not that accurate IMO.

I must have posted this before.. But this was my companion's location when she asked me to join her at Tallows Beach, when we went there. As recorded by Whatsapp using Google data:

Turned out she was sitting on the beach, not swimming in the sea.
 
In the Daily Mail article communicated by Via marple, it is stated in the paragraph "The last movements of Theo Hayez" that Theo "was seen dancing on a table" at 10:44 pm. At 10:55 p.m., "he was seen swaying by security guards as he left the toilet and told to leave". Is this the truth ?
Because if that's ever the truth, how can the coroner tell Theo wasn't a "problem drinker"? Does a sober person start dancing on the tables?

It must have been Theo at Cosy Corner beach, then at the foot of Byron Bay Lighthouse, around midnight if he then sent relaxed messages to family and friends.
6.17am: Theo's phone starts receiving data again.
I cannot believe that Theo fell to his death and that his phone was in the water as it could not have switched on by itself at 6:17am
Either someone else had his phone at 6:17am or Theo was using it. IMOO Theo was still alive at that time.
I still hold the opinion that Theo tried to get back to his hostel and fell into the swamp near the hostel at Cumbebin Swamp Nature Reserve as this would be the simplest explanation.

The disappearance of Theo breaks my heart so I can’t bring myself to read a lot about it.
( also I have been a long time reader but don’t really post at all ; I’m not very skilled at it …… here it goes )
8 years ago my daughter was invited to a private party at a very famous night club in Sydney . ( I’m telling you this because it is very similar to what happened to Theo , thank god nothing bad happened to my daughter)
my daughter had one drink ( at 5pm ) and text me that she was REALLY drunk ( my daughter was 19 years old ) . I said to my daughter “I will text you back in 30 minutes to check on you .” So after 30 minutes I did; no response. My gut instinct immediately kicked in ( I had a bad feeling ) .
5 minutes later my son called and said he had my daughter on the phone incoherent. My daughter couldn’t talk and couldn’t respond to my sons instructions. My son kept my daughter on the phone while my husband and I raced into the city to find her.
( because my son tracked her phone ) we found my daughter dangling off a pole in the middle of George st Sydney at 6pm . She was drugged ( drink spiked ) but she looked drunk . This is what she later said ;
* she got one drink from the bar
* she felt drunk weird
* barmaid/waitress told my daughter to go to the bathroom and freshen up
*she went to the bathroom to get fresh air and splash water on her face; …… the bathroom attendant said “ I’m calling security “ “ you are too drunk , you must leave the club “
* from that moment my daughter has no memory of being escorted out of the club
( all these things were too coincidental)
( also when a person is drugged like this they obey instructions )

when I found my daughter, there were 2 men following us ; one in a car , one by foot .

im telling you this because MOO is
Theo wasn’t drunk , someone spiked his drink .
It’s very very similar to what happened to my daughter ; security escorting him out onto the street like with my daughter
I called police the next day to report this incident, but they said my daughter had to come in and give a statement; she didn’t want to ; the club is famous and my daughter wanted to forget what happened

I found my daughter in time
My heart breaks for Theo x
