It's hard to believe nothing has come up yet, the "boyfriend" is still free, the alleged murderer is still in prison, her phone is still missing, surely they are still looking?

Her sister is correct, it doesn't matter about how she was raised or how she ended up doing what she was doing, she needs to be found, the boyfriend needs to be charged as well, I don't believe his story.

This story broke my heart . How her case isnt being treated like its important because of circumstances she was in .

So, they went to an industrial area in Larapinta. Does anyone know if he has an industrial unit? Did they say where he took her? Was it for someone else? Was there more than one bloke?

How would he kill her at an industrial unit? Bash weapon? Strangled her?

Went to lake Wivenhoe, out in a boat to the bottom of the lake?

"We're definitely looking at that Fernvale area out towards Lowood and we would again ask anyone there with any information to contact CrimeStoppers," he said.

I don't think the fact that she hasn't been found is because of her lifestyle, I think she's been hidden somewhere in a wide area and police need tips that will allow them to focus the search. Lots and lots of people aren't found for a long time, from all strata of society and all ages.

It's a miserable rabbit hole to go down, if you start comparing the attention your loved one gets from the media compared with other people. When my mother died, some one else 'more important' was front page news, the media and the public didn't care one bit about my loss.

I hope they put a poster up at Wivenhoe dam for fishermen to keep an eye out on their depth sounders?
Someone will eventually find a body in the dam. Fishing clubs might put up a special prize for her discovery.

Lots of fathers driving around in boats on dam. Nothing would make them more proud than to find her.

You watch some of those fishing shows now. They have sounders that record at speed and take detailed sonar pictures sideways in freshwater. Canoes have GPS sounders too.

At least they have a centralised demographic in the area that may have seen the car.

As investigators continue to search for Tiffany, they want to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the following:

A champagne coloured1995 Hyundai Excel with Queensland registration 649VFO (pictured) parked on Logistics Place, Larrapinta on Sunday, July 12 between 12pm and 12.45pm.
The same vehicle in the vicinity of the Brisbane Valley Highway between Fernvale and Blacksoil (see map) on Sunday, July 12 between 1pm and 1.45pm.

This case makes me feel ill. I had no idea they hadn't found Tiffany's body as I haven't read anything in the news for ages so I assumed they had .

What parent lets a 12 year old date a 40 year old .

It's terrible how there has been very little media coverage.

If you read the latest link you can read how it happened but regardless of how that occurred, this child is still missing and it looks like no one cares.
I think her mother knows what mistakes she made while raising this child but it's not all her fault, there is a lot of pressure raising teens, the child protection fell short and the school did as well, it's a long line of responsibility.
It is my opinion the boyfriend should be charged as well as the murderer.

Some parents can be perfect and their children make bad choices. Girls are also sought after by predators. It can be an environmental factors, friends the child has, self esteem issues, trauma, the list goes on. How many parents are told, there is nothing we can do.

Id like to see a study on the amount of blonde girls that end up in trouble. Nothing to do with mental capacity. Look at Madeleine McCann

The main objective here is, "to find the girl"

The thing that worked against Tiffany the most, IMO, was going missing from 'no fixed address'. We can thank the fact that she had an online presence for the rapid discovery of where she had actually been that day. Without that, she would have completely been dust in the wind. Rather than to judge her (however, I DO have issues with her partner) we should question the values our popular media put upon our youth, particularly the early sexualisation of girls. I know I'm not saying anything new.
It is quite likely in the absence of school attendance, and her mother, Tiffany's world view came from her partner and the television. Her father's suicide and subsequent absence from her life from age five must have been very difficult for her, perhaps giving her a need to nurture an older man from an age as young as 12 (who lavished attention on her).

We are lacking a fair bit of information in moving forward at this point IMHO. Without more info, or a body she could be anywhere up there.

Did the person charged go fishing in Tasmania? Just wondering whether he might have used his pastime as an alibi to go up to Wivenhoe Dam.
The fact the police have charged people probably think the cops have their man.
There needs to be a significant ground search which cant be done in Streetview

I'm semi local and I believe the direction they were searching is a beautiful, lush scenic route favoured by people who might want to ride their bike or drive a high performance car — and the locals. The biggest servo I have been to up that way is set up for grey nomad caravan septic waste ...

Have you a street for the servo?
No, just an observation from being a passenger on a scenic drive and seeing one of those things for the first time. I'm not suggesting she is in it, just painting a picture of the landscape as I saw it.

Could this be Tiffany?

Detectives are continuing to investigate the suspicious death of what is reported to be a young teenage girl following the discovery of a body on the banks of the Pimpama River yesterday.

This is just 5 minutes from my house, the location is rural, similar to where Alision Bayden Clay was found, although the area does get busy with people fishing at on the banks at weekends. The part of the river where the road goes over is 5 metres wide

Thanks!
