Also.. I've noticed sometime today someone has either de-activated her FB account or changed settings. Weird after all this time... I guess I should introduce myself - I'm Jodie from NSW :)

Welcome to websleuths Jodie thank you for joining us and for caring about William.

Great to hear that our local Sunshine Coast, Qld. radio stations are advertising the $1 million reward for anyone with information regarding William's disappearance to contact Crimestoppers !!!:...:great:

Very interesting. This would be outstanding if a desirable outcome occurred. No doubt its a giant hammer hanging over someones head.

That is interesting. Sounds like it is targeting that area. I havent heard any ads on our local stations in Newcastle but I did see a TV ad recently. Not sure which channel though.

I often wonder if the FF were aware that they were being watched by someone, perhaps connected to the BF or whoever.......It has been stated in the media that the FF were planning on adopting William & L, as William was still a baby when he went into their care........ The BF could not accept this, so decided to make their move & follow FF to Kendall to abduct William & L?........Were the abductors in the know that the FF were originally planning on leaving on Fri 12/9/14?.......The FF then decided to leave the day before, picking up WT and L from their daycare centre, as a surprise........Why did FM immediately feel that William had been abducted?....... She seemed so positive about the *abduction theory* right from the start of William's disappearance.......I have always felt that the FF were followed to Kendall.......I feel that William could still be alive & with someone he knows.........IMO The police know exactly where William is & are biding their time for the precise moment to act, so as not to put William's life at risk........In the media conferences & the FF interview on 60 Minutes, they seem to be addressing *certain people*.......I pray for William & his family every day for his safe return to his loving & caring family......MOO

i hadn't heard that WT was still a baby when he went into the FF's care.. is there a link?

William was put into their care before he turned 12 months old. It has been mentioned on & off here throughout the many threads, from very early on.

Unverifiable. There is no MSM link.
I don't believe there is a legitimate link from an official 'Where's William Tyrrell' FB source either, as no-one involved can speak about that aspect.

If Wiliam was 3, that would mean he has only been in foster 2 years max

Addressing media in Queensland, she said restrictions on carers and parents when a foster child went missing were actually making them targets for predators.

“They can target these particular kids because they are far more vulnerable than any other and response to their disappearance is less than adequate,” she said.

“If someone stole your child you’d be all over the place in 30 seconds and you’d be allowed to by law — but these parents, these families and these foster carers can’t and these offenders know that. Make no mistake.

“We’ve got to change it.”

Do many of you remember seeing William with his 1st birthday cake, when he had all icing all over his face & was laughing.....FD was speaking to William in that video......It has been shown on tv many times......That is how I remember him at 12 months old being with his beautiful FF.....:partyguy:..

Yes, he is pretty young in the video. The video is in this link. There is no doubt that he has been in this happy family for a good long while. For a good 2/3 of his life or more, I'd say.

A friend of mine heard it on her local radio station in Casino nsw.. so the message is getting out there. I'm hoping it's sooner than later we get some arrests and answers. I'm hopeful he's alive. ..they're treating the case as if he's alive. I would very much like to think that's because someone other than a pedo has him....going by child survival stats.

I quoted a post from page 19 about the radio ad. Hmm it hasn't come up. Anyhow that's who my reply was for. I won't waste thread space by trying to go back and requote.

I posted earlier two cases, one in East Point Georgia USA and one in Martins Ferry Ohio USA, in both cases a small child accidentally fell into a slot shaped kerb inlet. I now add a third case, in Dunmore Pennsyvania USA http://thetimes-tribune.com/news/police-detail-incident-of-boy-falling-into-storm-drain-1.1402491. Fortunately, because all 3 accidents were witnessed by adults, all 3 children were miraculously rescued by emergency workers and survived, despite one falling down 20 feet underground, and another falling down 5 feet underground and having no breathing or pulse.

Certainly no-one doubted that this could have happened with William. Not the police. Nor the neighbours. But after meticulous checking of these types of drains, it appears they have been discounted.

Local residents armed with torches spent the night searching for the boy.
"We've searched the drains on the road, but there was nothing there," said one woman who was with a group of friends.

They used cameras to send down drains and sewer pipes. And then double checked them. Nothing.

Quite some time ago, I saw a photo of them searching a slot type drain on Benaroon Drive, but I have been unable to find the pic again. Others would probably remember the photo that I am speaking of though.

Notice that the people claiming to have "searched the drains on the road" are a lady member of the public and her friends. Unless those members of the public had professional drain borescope equipment stored in their garden sheds (which is very unlikely) I suggest that their search of the drains probably consisted of a quick look with a torch into the top of each inlet, from where you can't even see down to the stormdrain pipe, and you certainly can't see along the pipe. Therefore MOO this press report describes a superficial and certainly not a full search of the stormdrains.

They used cameras to send down drains and sewer pipes. And then double checked them. Nothing.
This press report appears more trustable at first because it appears to at least refer to the police. However it contains an error, because there are no sewer pipes in that road, there are stormdrains but no sewers.

Surely if cameras were sent down stormdrains we would see press photos (like we saw photos at Bonny Hills)? But there are no press photos in B Drive of even of a single inspection cover being lifted. If you find the photo you remember South Aussie please post it.

I would say William is 2 there, but I believe there is every chance he was one when taken into care

Thankyou for providing the link SA....I'm still trying to work out how to add links here..:blushing:..:tyou:

I think you are underestimating the extensive police search

I feel confident that it has all been checked as well as it humanly could be. At the time it was happening, there was article after article mentioning those particular drain and sewer pipe searches - along with the forest/dam/waterway searches.
Sewer pipes are referring to septic pipes. The neighbours ensured nothing was visible in the street drains the very first night. The police/SES likely did too, then followed up with deeper probes.

MSM cameras were kept back from the immediate area quite quickly, there was a bereft family and intensive house to house searches going on. None of which was seen in MSM.
I am not sure why you are thinking that none of this has been done adequately. Because MSM could not take photos?

Have you found cases where the drains/septic/sewer were checked and probed, and a child was missed ... only to be discovered later?

There's Aisling Symes - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Aisling_Symes

She was still found relatively quickly.
