1) 7 said there’s a new ‘lead’. I wonder what kind of information they have.

2) there have been a couple of kiddies lately who have travelled a lot further ON FOOT than was expected possible.

If he was picked up and dumped alive he could have ran and kept running into the bush further and further.

I hope this helps.

Not sure that that is likely, but who knows?

The initial search, while extensive, was focused only on finding William – a little boy who was lost – and not with a view of deliberate human intervention.

BBM - Interesting statement

Yes it is sleep - deliberate human intervention.
Yes, and the one about this search forming part of a report to the Coroner. I wonder if there is an inquest into William’s disappearance is on the horizon? Especially as it was reported that police had new information and a new suspect. I don’t remember the term ‘suspect’ being used before but there have been so many MSM reports about William’s disappearance, I could have forgotten. Whatever the breakthrough is and whatever the result of the new search, I hope whoever took William is brought to justice.

The only time I recall suspect being mentioned and was when NC said

“A lot of people have made money going on television talking about William and me. I’m still a ‘suspect’ and the police have yet to sit down and have a proper chat with me and find out what I know.

Stunning new revelations about the day William Tyrrell vanished

Yes, I remember that. I meant police using the term ‘suspect’.

Deliberate human intervention, ie; planned kidnapping?

I really get that they were looking for a living little boy.

If searchers were looking or listening for a living child dressed in bright red then they could easily overlook or even walk past the still colour of skin, the same colour of the spinifex.

New search launched for William Tyrrell

Police will tomorrow launch a new four-week forensic search in bushland as part of their investigations into the disappearance of William Tyrrell.

William, then aged three, vanished from his grandmother's property in Kendall on the NSW Mid North Coast on September 12, 2014.

An extensive search conducted by hundreds of locals and emergency workers over the next 10 days failed to find the missing boy and he has not been seen since.

The new search will focus on bushland near where William disappeared from.

NSW Police today said detectives from Strike Force Rosann, formed to investigate William's disappearance, will begin the forensic search in bushland near the home.

The operation will be co-ordinated by search experts from NSW Police's public order and riot squad.

On the second anniversary of William's disappearance in 2016, the NSW government announced a $1 million reward for information leading to his recovery.

William's foster parents and biological parents have all been ruled out as suspects in the disappearance.

Police will provide more details at a press conference tomorrow morning.

I don’t know about everyone else here but this latest development is making me feel sick with anxiety.

Ditto Bo.

Four week forensic bushland search just to make sure they have covered all area's. What?
I have a really bad feeling.

They were searching for a little boy lost and not a little boy that had met foul play.

  • Police are treating the investigation as a search for a missing child, but have not ruled out the possibility of abduction.

The search experts are in charge this time.

It is not good news for little William, I fear. :(

The operation is being co-ordinated by search experts from the Public Order and Riot Squad.

It really sounds like they are ready to go to inquest — covering all bases.

Any thoughts on why that would be?

Edit: Snap, SA.

I would say that it is because these guys have the expertise and resources to do a forensic search.
