The report I heard was ‘up to 4 weeks’.
In this video Sandra says "Police have vital new information and potentially a new suspect"
"Burial" under water would be quicker. It might even have been possible for one of the searchers to protect the site from discovery.
I don’t know about everyone else here but this latest development is making me feel sick with anxiety.
Me too Bo, however I also recognise that it's long past the time where answers are due; for William, his parents and his extended families & friends. At this time I just pray ..
Thank you for all that SA. I still don't really see it. It seems the squad has mostly an anti-terrorist and oppress-political-enemies focus. I would have thought there was a big difference between searching for a missing person in that context--say, an illegal immigrant--and searching for a child's body or evidence in relation to and at the site of a child abduction. And if they're such specialists in evidence retrieval, why weren't they used earlier?
I think they are trying to say something, without saying it.
If someone had weighted and concealed the body under water, they could then pretend to be one of the searchers and keep an eye on that area, be in possession of that piece of water as something they were in the process of searching so no one else did. And what Bearbear said #1228.JLZ I’m not sure what that means. TIA.
Maybe searches on private property will carry warrants this time, looking for evidence? The public announcement prior to the searches may be to take the heat of specific residents in the community's eyes but looking, testing, gathering for something specific from surrounding households?
I agree but it's described as a bush search............from early reports the first weeks, the police search was intensive, and didnt they do a grid search also? and some houses searched numerous times, looking for a missing child, so with this new search being forensic, does this mean they are searching for forensic evidence like blood, hair a body etc and using specialized crime scene equipment like thermal imaging, luminol testing etc, they must have some serious intel to be given funding and possible search warrants for this 4 week search

The house at no. 35 still haunts me. It was also put on the market several weeks after William’s disappearance.from early reports the first weeks, the police search was intensive, and didnt they do a grid search also? and some houses searched numerous times, looking for a missing child, so with this new search being forensic, does this mean they are searching for forensic evidence like blood, hair a body etc and using specialized crime scene equipment like thermal imaging, luminol testing etc, they must have some serious intel to be given funding and possible search warrants for this 4 week search
yes youre right, and im off on my tangent about them searching houses!
it sadly seems theyre searching for a little body hidden in the bush and with possible new focus on someone who thinks they got away with it
How interesting the choice of words on 10 with 'new suspect', whilst 7 went with 'new lead'.
IMO, two very different meanings.
It's long been recognized that the meaning of words influences human behaviour. The Bible tells us that 'reckless words pierce like a sword......'
Then over the years we've learnt about 'Power Words' - words used by copywriters to bring about a phycological or emotional response.
I wonder were these words used on purpose in those reports...
