The sale had already gone through at that point, so the house didn’t need to be dressed up IMO & also it does not take long for a lawn to become messy again, especially in spring time in Australia, plenty of cockatoos out & about trashing eucalyptus trees.
Also pay close attention to the grass area in the walkthrough video of the MFC, looks pretty consistent with what the FFC had reported IMO

The background landscape behind male foster carer is the high neighbour property on Benaroon, not 48. IMO due to the red coloured structural timber. Structural timber at 48 was beige coloured IMO. refer to real estate link provided upthread today.

I always got the impression from that walkthrough that he is just talking about the FGM sitting on the back porch but because the name is beeped out, people assume he is talking about the FFC, cause IIRC, when he pulled up in the carport the FFC was already at his car window asking if WT was with him and telling him he's missing. IMO

and doesn't MFC say William's sister was with FFC as well IMO

something in the deep recesses of my mind tells me I read somewhere that BS had admitted to being the person that asked for directions on the day he 1st attended at 48 Benaroon. IMO

Wasn't that on the Tuesday 9/9/2014? IMO
Does make sense, although I never heard it. BUT the man, who asked for an address, was described as a "well dressed" man, as far as I remember. Would you use this description for BS's clothing? Clean and orderly - okay. Never seen him not neat.

In referrence to the "ADHD" possibility. This doesn't necessarily present itself in risk taking behaviour - climbing trees, running on to roads. ADHD could be in regards to having difficulty staying focused with a task/activity for long periods. In the photos of W drawing - the crayons seem scattered around. I'm just wondering if that suggests he's not really drawing but playing with them in a different way than what you would expect typically. Even the mention of the dice with chucking them around it kind of points to not being able to do a activity for long periods - and needing a constant variation of activities. This is not unusual but maybe compared to his sister means he needs more - imput and more time - whereas sister can amuse herself with one activity. So drawing for him was - make a card - then finish. For his sister maybe she was content to keep drawing/ colouring in. I'm curious what was planned for him to do next. No lego/trains - ipad. MOO
Yes, I agree with this. Children with ADHD have difficulty with executive functioning and impulse control, which can lead to poor risk assessment. They don’t necessarily SEEK OUT risky activities, and in fact one of the most common comorbidities for children with ADHD is anxiety, which can lead to being risk averse (where the risk is a known risk). Anxiety in ADHD

As an aside, I'm wondering about the specialists they've brought in for the search and the pit they've dug today which is about 1.5m down and 2m wide. Are they saying that something might be buried in a shallow grave or even lie on the surface of the ground meters away and then through lots of natural processes, end up travelling through the earth to a place like they are digging today? Rain, wind, heat, decomposition, animals, the course of small waterways, encountering animal burrows etc,? As opposed to digging a hole and placing something there. MOO

God this search is giving me less hope by the day .. they came out all guns blazing a week ago and it seems to be ending in a fizzer. If this comes to nothing it's their last horrah IMO, they will have an uphill battle getting funding for future searches as ministers etc will need a lot of convincing.

At the beginning they did say it would take 2-3 weeks. As the reality of what they are facing sinks in it will be more like 2 months. I just wish whoever did this to WT would come forward and say and save all this pain staking work, money being used, innuendo, heartache for this who loved WT and BIO F, also the authorities involved who must be wondering when they go home to their own kinds who would do something like? just be honest and even if it was an accident, be honest, come forward. Just shows how selfish people really are.

Sorry I think you might have misread my post. The foster mother actually said that the lawn was full of sticks and leaves because since her father's death the lawns hadn't been attended to.

She lied.

Just went back to thread 2 to see what I was thinking at the beginning of this case, turns out not much has changed ..

I'm really back to the handling of this case from the beginning, no road blocks in and out of town, and not a large enough search area in first days. Also as mentioned by others no abduction alert or widespread covering of this case in media. Now it's a week later and they can't go back and re-do any of it and it's too late.

Going back in time to read more ..

It is actually interesting reading thread 1, lots of early media articles etc, like this gem: William Tyrell’s parents desperate for ‘glimmer of hope’ as fears of foul play grow

They jumped to the predator conclusion very early on ..

I’m talking about the beginning where he is clearly next to the deck where this all started

WOW!!!!!!! You just solved one of my problems with this case.

Foster mother said she slipped and fell on a stick on the day William went missing injuring her hand, because her father had not been attending to the gardens since his death and it was covered in sticks and leaves, but you are RIGHT!!!! The lawns were in immaculate condition because of the house sale!

Thankyou!!!! Another inconsistency from the Foster Mother!
In the foster mum's police statement, she said she slipped and fell up the hill next to the property , where she was playing with William.
So yet another inconsistency.

Do you remember where you saw the police statement? I haven't heard that before, but am putting together a list of inconsistencies and would be really helpful :)

Hello, I did not misread, I was showing evidence of what the lawn looked like, just happened to feature in the video with the MFC

I found this interesting. The water tanks have been pointed out here on WS for years. Were they searched originally? I can't remember.

There is no way on Gods Green Earth that a lawn would be that immaculate after six months of not being tended to - not even after one week.

Especially considering that the property is dotted with gum trees, which, depending on the season are constantly shedding bark, gumnuts, leaves, pollen or branches.
