Not been on in a while, came on today and saw this im absolutely shocked even though I had a feeling Adrienne wasn't with us any more. RIP beautiful girl. Prayers to your father and family, a family who have already had so much heartache with the murder of Adriennes cousin it just doesn't seem fair that one family have to go through so much. JUSTICE FOR ADRIENNE. The monster/s who done this deserve to rot.

I was so unprepared to see that word on her thread tonight :(

Adrienne, I can honestly say that you were one of the most beautiful and sweet looking girls I have ever seen and what happened to you is just plain unfair. I am sorry honey :please:

Sending much love to Adrienne's loved ones xo

Rest in peace, Adrienne. I'm glad you have been found & aren't lost forever to the desert & animals.
Praying for your family & for swift, harsh justice.

I hope there is a quick arrest, but I am cautious, as I felt there would be an arrest in at least three other cases, once the victim was found (Dylan, Hailey D. and Katelyn M.) and it still has not happened. The length of time it has taken to find the victims only helps the killer, unfortunately. Hoping cell pings do someone in, if the perp is someone already in their sights, but if this was a random crime, it may be difficult. Also, I hate to think that if she was also assaulted before being killed, the perp may not be charged with that, due to lack of evidence. Just hoping for a quick result and that the family does not have to wait and endure a trial.

Thank you.
It is with such a heavy heart that I stare blank and numb at this thread tonight. Thank you all for sharing in the pursuit of truth to find Adrienne over the last couple months and now tonight the shock and grief of this news. Everyone was filled with passion and determination here and the emotions sometimes ran high but tonight we are all companions united by Adrienne.

Now over the next few days, weeks, months or years-whatever it may be, finding Adrienne's killer and Justice will be the priority. I think LE has many pieces to this crime that they are getting into perfect order-I believe this crime will be solved, I think LE is all over this and like someone else said, they just needed Adrienne to solve this.

To the Salina's family there are no words, but I am so, so sorry.

The thanks button wasn't enough, Wide. *soft smile*

Just a thought. In terms of location; Adrienne's destination was University and Hardy (AM/PM). University goes all the way to the 88 too. What if the person driving just turned east on University and kept going til they thought they were "far enough"? Not sure why this is bugging me... but I guess it's because in the valley, I personally take mostly surface streets. *shrug* Just throwing that out there.

This (these?) worthless monster needs to be held accountable for destroying this beautiful girl and the people who loved her. Safe to say I've moved on to the anger stage.

In this new article this morning there is no mention of a certain known person-that sure is odd. Is it possible there are attorneys or lawsuits threatened and that is why the certain figure is being left out of the news? or is it something more telling?

Even though I have been here for years, every case begins the same with a missing person-the details, twists and turns are all unique. I learn something new with each case and know that anything can and will happen.

I have a good feeling towards LE and their ability in Tempe. I think they have it together, for the most part and will find Adrienne's killer. This aint their first rodeo~

Let an arrest be swift and the evidence plentiful! I hope the killer knows he is enjoying his last few breaths of freedom. Does AZ have the death penalty?

Salinas attended a party in Tempe with her boyfriend on the night of June14 and had been drinking. The couple got into an argument at the party, during which she complained that he had not paid enough attention to her. The boyfriend drove her to his home in Scottsdale, but they continued to argue, so he drove her home.

The last time anyone reported seeing Adrienne was early in the morning of June 15. Her roommates told police that she packed an overnight bag and said she was driving back to her boyfriend’s home. A witness reported seeing Adrienne’s car hit a median near her apartment.

Later that morning, Adrienne repeatedly called the boyfriend but was unable to reach him. She eventually sent him a text message at 4:43 a.m., saying, “I’m coming over.”

But the boyfriend told police that Adrienne never arrived. Adrienne’s roommates described them as having an on-again, off-again relationship and said the argument appeared more intense than past quarrels. Tempe police have said the boyfriend is not considered a suspect and has been cooperative.

Maybe the reporter was in a hurry? *snark off* Very odd. Suspected destination / point of abduction absent. Kind of like saying "JFK was shot, somewhere."

Damned straight!

Why yes. Yes we do.

Is there a route that 'a random perp" or person who left the party would have headed if he picked up Adrienne and was headed for the boyfriends? I think the locals would be able to make a convincing argument for the most likely route.
I am sure one of our great map makers can help us put it into perspective on the possible timeline and routes.

Being a surface street wimp, I would have driven 5th street (east) to Mill. Left (north) on Mill to Curry. Right (east) on Curry to Scottsdale Rd. Left (north) on Scottsdale Rd. to Indian School. Right (east) on Indian School to BF's street. Let's see if I can figure out a map in 6 minutes... /stand by please.

i woke up with Adrienne on my mind this morning. i can't stop thinking about all of this. i thought i would start your day off right, too.. by sharing this picture of Adrienne and her infectious smile. the world has grown a little more dark with this loss of this beautiful girl.

Wimpy surface street driver would do this:

map.png

A -5th street and Mill

Mill, north to Curry.
East on Curry to Scottsdale Rd.
North on Scottsdale Rd. to Indian School.
East on Indian School to B.

Just want to say, despite the outcome we all feared worst, what a miracle and a blessing it is that her remains were found. There are families, too many families, who are never afforded that measure of closure.

LE has the most crucial piece of evidence now. I am praying for wisdom to be given to Sgt Pooley as he searches for the killer.

It is more and more impossible to get WS to load as days go on. So instad of quoting like 3 separate posts and replying to each separately I'm going to do it all here, sorry but I can't handle the timing out anymore.

Re: the article leaving stuff out - yeah the same site was the only one to say that certain someone was cleared as well, which is unsurprising because certain someone was a radio host on KFNX who used an alias for a long time and is IMHO may very well still be highly active in local media, therefore can IMHO shape reports as certain someone sees fit.

Re: the pic of adrienne above - I dislike that it appears to have a shovel full of dirt thrown on it, or actually what I hate is the way my stomach flops over when looking at that picture, it just makes me so sad and angry inside at what somebody did to her, while at the same time being such a wonderful beautiful photo of such a sweet innocent person who deserved so much more... JMO.

Re: SandSage's wimp-route - What happens if you START on Indian School road? THEN how far is it? just curious

(edited to try to fix my foot-in-mouth-itis that occurred when first saying how much the photo of Adrienne makes me sad, I didn't mean I hated the picture itself or the beautiful intent behind it, I meant that I hate how much it affects me, I'm sorry Mamacita! :grouphug: )

That is a LONG way to go on surface streets, especially if you are trying to dispose of a body and don't want to get pulled over. Lots of traffic lights and businesses. Probably construction at some points, too. Much safer and faster imo to hop on the 60 right to the 88. Right where the 60 meets the 88 is the "end" of the 60 as a major highway. If you just stay on it (the main roadway), it continues South, but you have to make a conscious decision to go in any other direction. And the 60 after the southbound turn becomes just a road. Just to try and give some sense of that specific area and what the killer's decisions would have looked like.

Also, it gets light in Phoenix very early at that time of year. If her last communication was at 4:43 am, it would have been light out within a pretty short time after that. Probably less than half an hour.

Re: the pic of adrienne above - I dislike that it appears to have a shovel full of dirt thrown on it. she's dirty. I hate that picture, JMO.

BBM - sorry you feel that way. i certainly didn't intend to make it appear DIRTY or that a shovel of dirt had been thrown on her. sorry you hate it.

One who doesn't like to use the freeway

oh shoot, good thing you said that, I presumed it meant only using streets that are surfaced, rather than dirt or gravel roads. I am totally from the sticks, can you tell? :blushing:
