Responses from CBS5 Az (KPHO).....
"Thank you for contacting us. I wish I had a better answer for you. With the Jodi Arias Trial we were able to get a live feed each day from TruTVs In Session. The Atlanta-based TruTV ended its daytime trial coverage show In Session on Sept. 30, 2013. Now we have to provide a crew each day to be able to have the technology to feed it live on our website. With the I-10 fire today, we were not able to feed both because of the limited towers in the Valley for feeding video.
So for now, its a day-by-day basis on whether or not we have the staffing to be in court for 8 hours on a trial that could last until April.
We do complete coverage on our website:
http://fb.cbs5az.com/1j9BJk4
And have updates on CBS 5 News
www.cbs5az.com/watchcbs5
And when available, we will have it at
www.cbs5az.com/live.
Best regards,

....and from ol' Scott:
"Well... if were were to charge for viewing... and there were enough people to pay that would support the costs, then we might be able do it every day. But I suspect that people would balk at that. Therefore- it will be sporadic.
In addition,
the local stations take turns providing the pool camera and not all of them can provide a live feed.
Also-
court rules dictate that all media must get it at the same time, so if one cannot take it in, then we cannot do it.
Also-
the judge can ban live streaming.
So you see there is WAY more to consider than just the fact that people want to see it.
It is far more complex than anyone outside of the TV business realizes.

:facepalm
ffftttttt! Dude, like we're WEBSLEUTHS!!!!! We KNOW all that stuff! Advertising on their website and TV channel pays for costs, one station can provide live feed, they don't have to rotate unless there's a mad rush for coverage, whether a station wants to stream or not doesn't effect other stations, the Judge allowed video. The red type (redded by me, RBM) is goobledygook. So how the heck did a site in the UK get part of yesterday's feed from them?:banghead:
